Kathy and Shannon are incredible! I was hesitant about returning to work as a first time mother and after visiting with them, I felt such a relief at the wonderful environment they create. Not only does my child have a consistent nap and feeding schedule, but Kathy and Shannon make the effort to provide helpful suggestions as you navigate all of the changes a baby goes through from clothing sizes, diaper sizes, feeding, teething, etc. Also, they take the children outside each day and share photo updates so you can see what they are learning! The personal touches and socializing for both children and parents is unparalleled. Our child has created new friendships, my husband and I have met other new parents to hang out with. My family and I couldn't be happier with our decision to send our kids to Tiny Tots! Kathy and Shannon have become like family and our girls both love and adore them and look forward to seeing them every day. They have a great play space, and a fun outdoor area with a big swing set, water tables, games, and toys. my daughters started with Kathy at 4 months and 11 months and they have been incredible with them at all ages. My older daughter is almost 4 and talks about Kathy and Shannon as if they are a part of her family. Both girls have learned so much from them over the years. Both of my grandchildren have thrived at Tiny Tots 5 days a week and I am a social worker who is very knowledgeable about child care. Kathy and Shannon have cared for both of them as if they were family. They are loving, safe and very careful with all of the children and have a clean and happy environment to thrive in. They go on stroller walks to the playground and have plenty of learning opportunities in this family daycare home. As they grow there are always age appropriate activities for them. They provide healthy meals and snacks. My grandchildren are always happy to greet Shannon or Kathy each morning. They are professionals in their work and love and concern like family. If I could give Kathy and Shannon at tiny tots a 10 star review I would. We had previously come from a different home daycare and were nervous find a new one after covid. Kathy immediately made us and my daughter feel at ease. She treats our daughter like she is her own and we couldn't be happier sending her to Kathy every day. They children are always outside playing on the swing set and with all the fun ride on toys. On days when they cant go out (which are few and far between) they have fun singing kareoke and playing with blocks and learning colors, shapes etc. They have a huge playroom for the children when they are inside. They send us pictures throughout the day and always let us know if something was off or different about our daughter each day. We couldn't ask for a more wonderful place for our diaghter to be. We feel SO lucky to have found tiny tots. read more

I can not recommend Tiny Tots enough. Kathy and Shannon, mother daughter team, are like family to my son. He has been going there since I first went back to work at four months old. He is now almost 3 yo. Their home is so warm and inviting, and they are so nurturing and caring. Kathy and Shannon love what they do and genuinely love the kids. They treat them as if they were their own and the kids love them back. I highly recommend Tiny Tots, I will be forever grateful I decided to send my son here. I never write reviews but I must for Kathy Jordan-Quern and her team at Tiny Tots. My daughter went there for full days, 5 days a week, from the ages of 1.5 to 3.5, and she LOVED her time at Tiny Tots. Kathy and her amazing helpers (daughter Shannon, longtime employee Nicole, husband Al, plus others) truly love and care for the kids. It's a great place for babies and toddlers, with a good sized playroom and shady spacious outdoor play area. Kathy runs a thoughtful schedule with music, yoga and other fun activities for the kids, and is flexible in working with parents. We would also hire one of Kathy's helpers for babysitting on the weekend when we needed it. My daughter is now 6 and it says a lot about Kathy that she and Shannon hosted an evening 'reunion' of Allie's 'class' earlier this spring to see the kids, and to give parents a little break. I cannot recommend Tiny Tots more highly- Kathy and her family have become dear friends. read more

The best decision I've made as a mother was sending my son to Tiny Tots. He was in another daycare and they were really struggling implementing recommendations from early intervention. He cried every day when I dropped him off (even after months). I could tell he hated it and I hated having to leave him there. When our early intervention person recommended us finding another location, Tiny Tots was one of the spots they had mentioned. It didn't take long for us to make the switch. After meeting with Kathy in her home we could immediately tell how much she cared for the children in her care. It didn't take long for our son to absolutely thrive with the help of Kathy, Shannon and their team. They did such a phenomenal job helping him with his speech and just teaching him in general. That was 4 years ago! When we had our daughter in 2019, there was no one in the world I would feel more comfortable leaving her with when I had to go back to work than the team at Tiny Tots. It really does feel like leaving her with family. She gladly runs into the door every day, and does a little dance while excitedly screaming "HI KAFFY!!!". She doesn't even look back to say bye to me! I wholeheartedly recommend Tiny Tots to anyone who is looking for a daycare. read more

Kathy is like family to us, since she started watching our son when he was 6 months old in Feb 2020. It took him no time to get acclimated to day care. Kathy, Shannon, and the team were so in touch with his needs, and would send me photos throughout the day. (As our first born, it was hard dropping him off! Kathy was as good to me as she was to my son, making sure I was comfortable with the adjustment to day care!). During the COVID-19 pandemic, they are taking precautions and as a small day care, I feel safe with him being there. Kathy and the team are so warm and loving, I cannot thank them enough for the joy and development they foster in my son. His smile is the biggest reference! And when he goes to Kathy - reaches for her - when I drop him off, I know he's in such good hands. read more

Kathy is flexible, loves to interact with parents, and her employees have all worked there for a long time. Our time at Tiny Tots has been a wonderful experience. Kathy Jordan, who owns and runs this family daycare, is incredibly warm and experienced with children. I felt comfortable from the start dropping off my one year old with her. He actually reaches out his arms to Kathy at drop off and doesn't mind my leaving at all - he just wants to play with his friends! I love that the children spend so much time outside in the spacious backyard with lots of toys and activities. The rest of the caregivers, Kathy's daughter Shannon, Nicole, and Nancy, are all fantastic. I've been impressed with the staff to child ratio and feel comforted knowing that my son gets a good amount of individual attention. I can't recommend Tiny Tots enough. read more

Fine for toddlers, but wouldn't recommend for infants as it is not the most nurturing place. They also try to get infants to follow a schedule even when they're too young to do so. Space could be bigger, but kids usually go out at least twice/day. read more
