I have visited this place twice since it's open. Let me also say this is the first I've ever used a…read moresauna. You can do 4 visits a month or unlimited visits. You have the option of doing solo sauna or social sauna (you and 1 other person). These sessions last about 40 mins. They also offer a 15 min infrared red session if you are on a time crunch. The front staff is friendly and helpful. I even met the owner on my first visit. This place is very clean. They offer Netflix and Spotify to use with Bluetooth in the sauna. My only critique would be is the front desk employee starts the timer for your sauna session and cuts into your time because you still need to undress to your comfort level. I feel like a few minutes should be added to the timer to take this into consideration. I signed up for monthly membership of 4 visits. So far, I'm enjoying it and looking forward to seeing the benefits of regular sauna use.

I had read a lot about red light therapy and infrared saunas. How convenient that we now have BEEM in Lee's Summit. I signed up for unlimited red light therapy and the infrared sauna and went there usually 3x/week, back-to-back sessions, with a day between appointments. In a months time, I'm happy to say I feel healed. This therapy helped to reduce the swelling and bruising I had, not to mention just how wonderfully therapeutic each one of the modalities feel. Definitely puts you in the Zen zone. They also have the chromatic light therapy in the saunas so you can decide what color light(s) suits your fancy during your 40 min sauna. Music is optional in the saunas but is a nice feature. The facility is exceptionally clean and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Oh, and about the timer situation from a previous reviewer, they now give you a few extra minutes so that you can change out of your clothes and not miss a precious minute of either one of your sessions. If you're curious or if you're looking for a place to do red light therapy or an infrared sauna, I would highly recommend BEEM in Lee's Summit.

At that time, I explained that I was having gastrointestinal issues since November 2025 that was not improving. A colonoscopy request was submitted and scheduled for September 25, 2026. On August 25, 2026, I left a message requesting an appointment as my stomach pain had sharply increased. I called back on August 26, 2026 and was told the next available appointment was October 2026. I called back and asked if anyone could see me sooner, if there was a cancellation list,I could be on as I was unable to eat due to severe nausea and had lost 8 pounds since Monday. I was told no one could see me until October. On August 27, 2026, I was admitted into hospital through the emergency department at Lees Summit Medical Center. Before being discharged from the hospital, I requested help with a follow-up appointment. The case worker was able to make an appointment for September 8, 2026 at 10:30 am with Dr Beck. I arrived at my appointment with Dr Beck on September 8th at 9:45 am for my 10:30 am appointment. I waited in an empty waiting room until 11:01 am. At no time was I given any reason why I continued to wait 30 minutes after my appointment. I left without any medical follow-up. So if you want zero medical help so you have to go to emergency room - this is your practice !
