Manipulative and unkind, disrespectful and inconsiderate, I found her the worst co-parenting counselor possible. Definitely more harm than good. Rather than promoting cooperation Ms. Eisnitz sought to promote conflict and then make vague generalizations in reports to Family Court Services. Without specifying what she was referring to Ms. Eisnitz told a child custody evaluator that I was "not showing the level of cooperation expected." I was following my attorney's instructions to the letter, and strongly feel Ms. Eisnitz comments were highly inappropriate, unprofessional and more prejudicial than probative. My ex-wife and I had toured several elementary schools, and found the one that we liked the best. I signed our daughter up for this school. Ms. Eisnitz, apparently finding nothing else to complain about made a stink about the fact I signed my daughter up for kindergarten! Ms. Eisnitz insisted I needed written permission from my soon-to-be ex-wife, although we had already agreed this was the best school. In ending our 10 year marriage we didn't need a conflict-seeking 'therapist' making a mountain out of a molehill. When I suggested that for peace of mind, I ask a Sheriff's deputy to supervise while I removed some of my personal belongings from the former family residence, Ms. Eisnitz snarled "are you threatening her?!" As peace officers, Sheriff's deputies are routinely called to assist a couple in transition and obtaining a peace officer's supervision had been recommended to me by a Sheriff's deputy as an inexpensive alternative to litigation. It makes you wonder, has Ms. Eisnitz had run-ins with the law to warrant the suggestion that the presence of a Sheriff's deputy was somehow "threatening"?! To summarize, Ms. Eisnitz caused more harm than good to my co-parenting relationship with the mother of my child. Beware! Ms. Eisnitz is incompetent and expensive. If you sign up with her in conjunction with a divorce proceeding, her connections to court child custody recommending counselor Dan Chester may result in the court ordering you to continue seeing Ms. Eisnitz "for the duration and frequency determined by Ms. Eisnitz." OMG! An open checkbook!
