Great food, never sat down in the restaurant but this is my go to Indian takeaway in Sittingbourne, food is always tasty and hot. Staff are always lovely when you go in to pick up your food and if its delayed they often give you a drink on the house.4 read more

Best curry house in Sittingbourne. The garlic chilli chicken is highly recommended as are the mushroom kebabs. Great atmosphere and the staff are great. read more

We have been here for our work christmas meal, it was a busy night but they were in a hurry to take our money and get us out of the door. Food was slow, everyone was on their main meal by the time 3 of us had received our starter (only a prawn cocktail) Apart from the above points they food was lovely, reasonable prices and service with a smile. I would return again but maybe on a not so busy night. read more

Have been here a good few times over the years and highly recommended. It is rumoured that the owners of this restaurant also own the maharani which will account for the food tasting as good as the Maharani. Personally think the staff in the Maharani are nicer but the surroundings in this restaurant are better. Both quality restaurants. read more

Was in here last night for takeaway, was soooooo busy it was unbelievable! My takeaway did take time to come, but the manager is so nice, he gave me free glass of wine while i waited and watched the hectic businesses inside the restaurant. Will come here very soon for a sit down meal, but as i was passing in town, i thought i'd give it a try! Food was amazing, i tried Chicken Tikka Raney or something, was so nice! read more

I moved out of Sittingbourne in 2000 to Manchester came down to visit friends and family. Was a regular at this place, so i held a family gathering here at Empress. The manager Babul still recognized me straight away after 11 years. The restaurant interior has changed massively and there was 13 of us. Food was still the same as i remembered and better! I really do miss this place, and i hope Babul reads this as i felt they deserve a good review! Will be back for Christmas so will book and see you guys again! xxx read more

Indulge yourself with the food at this place. Me and my husband and another couple, who recently celebrated various anniversaries at this restaurant would like complement the staff who were faultless and outstanding in the service they provided. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The atmosphere was lively and the staff livened up the place with their banter. All added up to a perfect and enjoyable evening. We will obviously be returning again soon. read more

Brought my GF here Tuesday night was a quite night but the food was great. Tried the Korah Chicken Babol, medium hot dish and the famous Bangladeshi Nan, very hot with meat in it. We loved the place and my best mate dad owns the place so he took care of us, thanks Sanny! read more
