It also feels like a supermarket of up market goods, they're heap to peruse in the aisles, a surprising amount considering how small the store is. Theres a kitchen too, that'll whip you up something, but if I were you, I wouldn't leave without one of the chocolates. Just a great mixture of stuff! Deinately worth a look!

Whenever I come over and say lets go out for dinner, he says lets go to the deli and get something and to be fair they have everything you could want. I often get a serve of their Lasagne and heat it up and a salad. These prepared meals are reasonably priced for what their quality. What really makes this shop worthwhile is the gourmet foods and wine. The selection is pricy but impressive. We had a $40 bottle of red wine from there one evening and it was one of the best I've ever had. Although their products are expensive, the quality is the highest and you know you will enjoy what you have. Bottega Del Vino is like something which has escaped from Europe and is a cut above the average deli.

I grabbed a couple of crafty's and a bottle-o-spirits and was on my way. They had an impressive range of spirits, including a number I had never seen before. So the range was definitely up there. The staff were friendly and happy to see us, which is always a good sign. Parking is underneath, garage-style, and this makes it more accessible than a shopping centre Dan's. Went here last night for a Craft beer tasting night (it cost $20) As we entered we got a nice beer glass, there was a cheese spread available which was tasty! They had booklets of what beers were on offer to sample ranging from lagers, wheat beers, pale ales, golden ales to the dark beers and IPA's. Had over 35 beers to sample! Some included 1664 Blanc, Moo Brew, Blue Moon, Matilda Bay Alpha Pale Ale, Franziskaner Dunkel to Cascade Stout and even tried Guinness! On the tables they also had free popcorn, nuts and pretzels to nibble on. Further, they had a guy serenading us with his amazing guitar and vocals skills. There were also waiters on hand to serve hot food such as seared salmon, mini hot dogs with all the trimmings and what looked like curry puffs! Staff were extremely helpful and as we walked out we found out we got to keep our crafty beer glass (good thing we didnt just leave it on the tables!). Great night enjoying some of the craft beers from Australia, NZ to Germany.

One of a couple of business's that occupy the lot on the corner. What it is, is basically a warehouse full of alcohol. Like a Bunning's Warehouse of booze. It's huge. Wine's as far as the eye can see and a wide selection of beers and spirits. Ice is available in their freezers and bits and pieces necessary for a party are sold here as well. There is a parking lot out the front and trolley's are available should you be requiring a large amount of grog. While Amato's isn't the cheapest bottle shop, that's not to say that it's expensive, but it is not a discount retailer. Ideal for parties, when you're looking for a brand of beer or wine that is hard to get your hands on and when you're really really thirsty.

Go past the brick wall and around the corner into Norton St and you come across the driveway and parking area for Amato's Liquor. Amato's is a large warehouse-sized (600 sq ft) liquor store that carries wines, spirits and beers from all over the world but apart for a huge range of Australia wine specialises in Italian wines. They have a wonderful selection at all price points so that anyone with an interest, be they novice or confident connoisseur can purchase a bottle of vino Italiano. However, the rest of the world hasn't been left out, 35% of their stock is imported. Like all other liquor stores, they have wine in the fridge, which on a Friday night comes in very handy as there are so many BYO restaurants in the area. They also have case deals for people who want to buy in bulk. A cool-room especially to keep the beer nice and cold is at the front and the spirits and liqueurs are in easy reach on the wall facing the front of the store. With thousands of products in store and over 250 beers, the store can be a little overwhelming but Franc, who owns the store has plenty of help and they are always ready to suggest a product if you're not too sure what to buy.
