With the double sided mirror we are able to watch our kids, but they cannot see us to get distracted or embarrassed. They cap the amount of dancers in each class, and the instructors are amazing. The security of the kids is of most importance here as well. They are secure in classes and only registered parents have access to them. Lisa is a kind, compassionate and artistic owner/instructor. I truly feel that my kids are blossoming here. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lisa Renees!!!!

They are moving studios, which is good because their facility was unpleasant. It had garbage on the floor and stains in the back locker room. I know it can be hard to control so many children at one, but I think this is a little out of hand. I won't tell about my personal experiences I had with the owner, but I will say she runs a tight shift. I have since been to other dance studios in the area such as Jordan Centre Dance, Lisa Renee, Center Stage, etc. I have had better experiences there than I did at DSM. If you stay there long enough, I believe your dancer (or you!) will find great fellowship/friendships. All the teachers are strong in different ways. They are good mentors to the dancers. The leadership of the studio has a clear vision for the organization. Cleveland City Dance serves a mission of making dance available to all sorts of dancers. They go an extra mile to share the benefits of dance not only with the families and dancers at the studio, but beyond. For example, now that the intensity of Covid has lessened, dancers are performing again in community outreach settings in different parts of the city. I truly believe that this organization teaches high quality, well informed dance technique in a thoughtful, intelligent way.
