When the night came, a friend of Terri's- Marcus- was the DJ for my wedding. The night went well, our guests had a great time and majority of everyone danced. There was however, a few things as the bride that I was unhappy with. For example, he didn't play our correct walk in song, he didn't pronounce our name right, I had to ask him to dismiss for dinner when it was in the notes, I had to ask him to play a certain song that we had outlined in our notes to be played following the mother/son dance. I had to ask him to start the garter/bouquet toss when that's was also in the notes I gave him. There was only one slow song played the whole night. Overall the night went very well, but I felt I had to push him to keep the night rolling. After the conclusion of the wedding, Terri reached out to me asking how Marcus did. I explained all this to Terri; basically saying Marcus did well and was very professional, but there were things I was displeased with. I receive no response from Terri after this, and instead I receive paragraphs from Marcus criticizing everything I mentioned and then some. He blamed everything I mentioned back on me as well as calling me... and I quote "nitpicky". He called me rude for never offering him food or drinks throughout the night... as a bride I don't feel like I should have to think about if the DJ is catered to. He never once apologized for anything. After paying $1700 for this service, I could not be more upset over the disrespect I have received. I may have had a different outlook if Terri had been there, or at least apologetic about my concerns.

For my senior photos we did a mixture of outdoor shots & pictures inside a studio. What made me happy is the unlimited amount of outfit changes at no extra cost. When I was looking for a photographer, most of them would have limits or I would have to pay extra just to change my clothes for another photo. I have gotten so many compliments on social media & in person from how they turnedout. Definitely coming back in the future for my next occasion that needs to be photographed.

All that's missing is the laser background. Also incredibly overpriced. $350 dollars for 6 jpegs of sub-par quality photos?? And that's the discounted price. I spoke to him about being unhappy with the photos and asked for a refund. He merely stated we could try again and that no one else has ever been unhappy with the quality of their photos. I told him refund or review, offering that he keep 100 of what I gave him. He chose the review. A friend of mine said I could use her words: "Headshots are a crucial part in getting an actor work. Casting directors use headshots to make big decisions and so actors rely heavily on them to represent their personal brand. Without a good brand, they won't get work. They won't earn a living, they won't get to make art and they won't be able to provide for themselves or their family. Because headshots are so important, it is fairly common to spend a pretty penny on them for QUALITY work. Yes, it is the actor's, or as I shall now refer to them as the client's, responsibility to research their options and they should be confident that they are getting what they pay for based off of their knowledge of the photographer's portfolio. However, the photographer has a responsibility to not only advertise their services accurately, but also work with their clients throughout the session to make sure that the final product is of high quality. Mistakes happen. Miscommunication happens, but these photographs are not worth almost $400. They're barely up to school photo standards. You could get more "bang for your buck" at a Walmart photo studio. I understand a photographer's need to charge for their time, efforts and talents because, for some, it's a living and not just a hobby. Actors and photographers fall under the same "artist" category and fully understand that one's time and talent should never be free. However, if a photographer doesn't have the skill to provide $400 quality shots, they should not charge nearly $400 for them. These photographs are ridiculous and will not get Jillian any work, anywhere. Yes, shame on Jillian for not researching enough, but more shame on the photographer who tried "cutting her a deal" to help a young actress save money and refused to give even a partial refund when he could only provide a cheap product that falls embarrassingly short of any headshot."

Also known as Pinups by Eric J - www.pinupsbyericj.com…read more Photography quality was good, but service/professionalism is not good. I signed up for a pin-up package through Groupon with a friend. As soon as I called to schedule, there was a rush to get us in for consultation. Once in consultation, there was a rush for getting session scheduled and payment for added services. We were told things would happen during session that did not. Such as snacks, assistance with outfits, poses, etc. We were there for over 5 hours with only water. No assistance with outfits or poses was provided. Seeing as how I'm not a model, I would have liked help with poses, etc. to get best experience. They expected us to pay for photo packages/prints prior to seeing proofs. Once they understood I could not possibly choose which package I wanted without seeing how the pictures turned out, the proofing process began. A few photos were touched up and all were added online for review. I was called every 3-4 days asking if I was ready to order. I did not have time to go through poses and pick a package for probably 3-4 weeks. Once I finally placed my order (and paid), it took almost 3 months to get final product - a deck of cards. I feel like they just needed the money quickly. I placed my order on 11-4 with promises of having by Christmas. I did not receive by Christmas. Was told they would arrive week after Christmas so they would provide poster at no charge to use as Christmas gift. Drove 1.5 hours for poster and appreciate the gesture. After seeing they were not arriving anytime soon, I asked for the digital images. Drove 1.5 to pick up CD to get home and find it was blank. They ended up emailing me the images. The pictures finally arrived at their shop 4 days prior to Valentine's Day. I was told to have them shipped to me in time to arrive, I (YES, ME) would have to pay for overnight shipping. Was told it was $21 - when I received them, it was $13 for the shipping. Have asked for an $8 credit for extra shipping (since I had spent nearly $500 with them already) and there is no response. Husband likes the cards, but I would not recommend going through this process to get them. I'm sure the same results can be achieved elsewhere with more professional service. Very unfortunate.
