I come from a background of being 2 different denominations of Christian, 10 years of Mormonism from age 17-27, and a long standing too many years of being in MAGA... not until 2024-2026 did I start shedding all of that and opening my heart and mind to things I was told not to look into- the world of the metaphysical and what metaphysical shops offer. Before I start my review, here is info about me if you haven't yet read any of my other reviews of…read morepsychics. In addition to being a scientific/engineering consultant, I'm a mystic, spiritual healer and an intuitive. When I travel, I usually get readings from at least 2 local psychics -- all of them total strangers to me before the start of the reading -- wherever I visit. Since I'm a mystic and spiritual healer, my life is filled with Divine love and grace, and I'm happy and very much at peace. I want to stress the fact that when I make visits to psychics during my travels, I am not seeking help with any problems, nor answers to questions, nor am I seeking spiritual guidance. Rather, I visit them and ask for a general life reading simply because God asks me to do so, and to have a fun way of connecting with other practitioners in the realms of the metaphysical arts, for I see them as metaphysical colleagues. So, when reading my reviews of psychics here, it may be VERY helpful for you to bear in mind that I did not visit them with any problems, serious questions, nor wishes in mind, nor with any "neediness". Due to this fact, your own experience with the same psychic might be very different than mine. In other words, your mileage may vary (from mine)! Further, my reviews of all psychics are for their psychic readings only, and never for any additional services that they might offer, such as healings, cleansings, or spiritual guidance. Early in the afternoon of Nov. 18, 2016, after having noticed the large "Psychic Readings" sign as I drove by, I approached this business as a walk-in, and received a psychic aura-plus-palm reading for $80 (there was also a $60 option) from Debbie, a middle-aged woman with dark hair and an Eastern European appearance. As is always my practice when getting a reading, this was a totally cold reading: I told Debbie, prior to the start of the reading, only my first name, date/place of birth, and that I was visiting Midvale for 10 days and staying in a hotel. I told her nothing more about myself until after the reading had ended. As the reading started, Debbie invited me to think of two wishes or wants that I had, and to then share one of them with her. I declined to do so, telling her that I did not have any important wishes/wants. Debbie immediately informed me, accurately, that I am self-employed and work only for myself. Within another minute or two, she further announced that I seemed to be very spiritual, and seemed to be some kind of very powerful mystic, spiritual guide, spiritual mentor, spiritual healer, and also a powerful psychic/intuitive (she was correct on all of these points, although I refused to confirm anything at that time). She then proceeded to tell me that she could see that I was a very old soul, with many thousands (or more) of past lives, and that I had been a spiritual teacher or healer in many of those lives. She also reported that she saw an amazingly and unusually high number of angels and guides around me on the non-corporeal plane, and that they were very happy with me, for I always followed the good advice that they and God gave to me. Each of these observations was also correct, but again, as before, I refused to confirm or deny anything at that point, telling her that if she wanted to know more about me, she would need to wait until the end of the reading. Interestingly, in the wake of all of the mystical and metaphysical revelations, she also reported, correctly, that I am also a scientist and an engineer and that I have a very high IQ, and that I have expertise in a great many scientific and technical fields. She also correctly reported that I was married, and that I had never had any children (this is a notable observation, because most psychics incorrectly claim that I have two or three adult daughters). At a couple of points during the reading, Debbie asked me what I do for a living, because she was seeking at least some minimal confirmation about whether her earlier rather unusual observations had been correct, but in each case, I told her that she would need to wait until after the reading had ended to learn anything more about me. In each case, she relented, and the reading proceeded. She also correctly perceived that while I have a great many female friends, almost all of whom are quite a bit younger than me, I also have an elderly female friend who is very motherly toward me, and who, because she is an inveterate "worrier" and "fretter" by nature, worries about my safety a lot due in large part to my extensive travels. Notably, unlike many roadside storefront psychics, Debbie did NOT attempt, at any point during the reading, to push any upsells on me, nor did she try any cons on me. At all times during the reading I found her to be friendly, sincere, humble and kindly in her demeanor. Once the reading had ended, I did confirm for her the many things that she had reported accurately, and we then chatted for a bit.

The sign had this super cheesy curly letter design and I just knew it was the real deal. The market was mostly Navajo jewelry and from what I could tell it was all very reasonably priced and high quality. There were a couple of vendors selling food too! We bought a breaksfast burrito and a corn cake. It was all delicious. We're pretty sure the tortilla in the breakfast burrito was handmade and the woman selling the corn cake, told us all about the significance of corn cakes in the Navajo culture. What an immersive experience! I heard that they are talking about doing these markets once a month. I hope they do this again! And I hope they expand the food vendors. We bought a couple of pieces of jewelry. I usually prefer buying ethnic jewelry or clothing directly from the person who identifies as part of that culture. Usually you will see better pricing and you are less likely to get ripped off. They can also explain the cultural significance so you know you won't be offending someone by accidentally buying something with a serious religious significance. I am very happy with what we got!
