I've been ordering magic and balloons from them for years now, and finally asked if they had a Yelp or other place I could review them because they've just been so nice to me that I felt I needed to do something to pay it back to them. Anytime I've ever had a question, they respond immediately with an email or phone call. A live phone call, not a recording. They go above and beyond constantly. Most recently, a flag trick that I have been ordering for years got changed to a new manufacturer. I wasn't a big fan of the new one, and I emailed the owner, Bill, to see if they still had the old ones in stock. Bill went out of his way to track down the previous manufacturer and found out they had been out of stock for a long time--BUT found another company that made nearly the same model--ordered it for me--and is sending them out to me! I honestly can't think of another business that would do that for a customer. Most people would say "Sorry, we're out of stock and this is all we have now" I also was planning a totally new show and line-up and Bill gave me tons of recommendations on which tricks to look at that would go with my theme. Their business is personal and they remember you, it's not automated. The woman who takes orders and helps with phone calls and emails, Angie, is very nice too and is always helpful. I really don't know what I'd do without Madhatter, my business wouldn't be anywhere near as successful without them. There was zero urgency to reply to emails, return phone calls or answer any planning questions I had leading up to the event. Each and every email I sent was followed up by a second requesting a response. As the client I felt as though I was an inconvenience. We purchased their largest package and even added their video service and was still given very poor service. It took about two months AFTER my event to be told there was no video even used in the booth. However, the only positive I do have of their service was the turnaround time in getting my digital version of all the photos taken at the event. Again, the photo booth itself was great... Which is disappointing that their service did not match up.
