This company should be investigated and shut down by the government! I paid almost $5,000 to Encompass Recovery Group and in that time, only 2 loans got paid off for less than $2000 total. These scam artists took almost 50% for themselves; charging settlements fees of 40%. Ironically, these fees were essentially the different between the amount owed and settled upon. Now I find out that one of the debtors that I had on my list were never contacted by ERG and now I'm being sued for over $2,000! I should sue ERG!!! Do not use these scam artists! They'll take your money and won't do anything. I can't tell you how many times I had my creditors harassing me because ERG never contacted them to negotiate. read more

Absolutely horrible! I contacted this company on January 13th, gave them them all the required documentation and they started drafting my account on Jan 24th. On January 31st I called their support to get a status, they said they were working with my creditors an I'll be receiving a call from my account manager. They drafter my account account on Feb 7 and Feb 21 and still never contacted my creditors. I call support on Feb 24th and was told my account manager would start sending out settlement offers....wtf?? My account was drafted again on Mar 6th. I called support, stayed on hold for about 15-20/mins and told them to cancel my account and return my money. The rep said she had to email her cancellation group, wait for an email reply, then she'll contact me...wtf?? They have no problem taking my money, but have a huge problem providing service!!! read more

I've been using ERG since January 2018. While they've handled everything they were supposed to, they are absolutely awful at communication. Emails go unanswered, you never seem to get the same person more than once, and I never seem to have a consistent account manager. I'm due to finish my program sometime this year and I'm hoping to get it paid off early, but I can't get a payoff amount that makes sense. Customer service tells me one thing, but the new portal tells me another. It's very frustrating and I just want to be done with them, but I'm so close to the end. read more

They took my money month by month did pay off some of my creditors but after 15 months. I cancelled the program. They said I had only $858.87 left out of paying in $4540.50 and paying $1779.12 to some creditors. They did a audit with all the number for the fees. But when you add it up they still owe me $98.95 and they will not give it back to me or talk to me. I called today and talked to Jonathan the Manager and told him and he put me on hold and then I was disconnected. Called back and they where closed for lunch after 5 hours now not call back to me to tell me what they are going to do with this money. I have called them back and emailed them but never get thru to talk to Jonathan again. I am sorry I signed up for this program. read more
