The instructors are AMAZING and are unmatched -- they know how to keep the lessons really fun and make swimming/the water less scary. However, the progress and the curriculum are a bit slow. Each lesson is 30 minutes long, which equates to about 20 minutes of swimming time (but part of that is just getting used to the water, like dunking in their heads). If I were to do it again, I would opt for a couple weeks of private lessons... this would have saved years (in terms of time) and quite a bit of money too. This isn't a knock at all on the instructors, who like I said are great, it's more just the slow progress that they make and it takes a lot of time to see it given how short the lessons are. Sign-up is pretty easy online but popular slots fill quickly. Makeups are allowed by scheduling online. There are 3 sessions to sign up for during the year I think -- fall, winter, and spring. A special shout out to Mr. John and Ms. Cassie who we especially bonded with. Without Mr. John our son would not have gotten there... now he is a great and confident swimmer!

We've had no issues with scheduling our kids, sometimes all 3 of them at once. Yes, they are popular and are not open super late on weekends. This just means that when it's time to enroll I set a reminder for myself (and they send many, plus remind you in your weekly class) and make sure to do it timely. My youngest is still here and the joy and confidence he gets from mastering new skills cannot be beat.

Although an accomplished swimmer in my own right, I quickly learned that I knew nothing about how to teach my kids how to swim. So I looked into swimming lessons for them. Yet the swim instructors proved no more able to teach my kids than I was. This was no doubt in part because my oldest has an anxiety disorder which makes new experiences even more challenging for him than they might otherwise be. And so we spent small fortunes treading water, as they say - except that neither of my kids got to the point of being able to *actually* tread water. Enter Tiburon Swim Academy. My wife had heard good things about this school through one of the Facebook groups she is on. Despite being more expensive than some of its competitors, we decided to give it a shot. Money. Well. Spent. My kids learned more in the first 2 days than they had in the previous 2 years. They learned to float, to submerge themselves, to swim - inelegantly, sure, but swim nonetheless - from one side of the pool to the other. For the first time in their lives, I felt confident that if they fell into a pool, they could get themselves to the side unassisted. After 5 days in a row of 30 minute lessons, they both had mastered the skills needed to begin to learn how to swim in earnest - the skills that will enable them to be safe on the water and have a lifetime of fun in it. All the credit is due to their teachers, Eric and Val. Both were exceptional - but Eric in particular earned my admiration. It was he who taught my son. What impressed me was the way he found to communicate with my son. He met my son where my son was at, earned his trust, weathered his reticence and - most importantly - got him to buy into what he (Eric) was trying to teach him. That sounds easy enough, but anyone who has ever tried to teach knows that this is in fact the most difficult task of all. I've spent decades in a classroom, but I learned perhaps as much about teaching watching Eric with my son as my son did about swimming. It is rare that I can give such an unqualifiedly positive review. In this instance, it is my distinct pleasure to do so.

Minutes after scheduling my lesson, I got a very nice phone call from the Instructor, Tara R., who confirmed the lesson. She was able to answer any questions I had, as well as asked me what I hoped my sons would want to get out of the lessons. It's amazing how you don't have to do anything, the instructor comes right to your house! First lesson went amazing, the instructor showed up right on time and had a whole lesson plan set for the hour. I was able to follow along with her. Highly recommend Aquamobile!

I…read morewas nervous sending a 6 and 9 year old out on the ocean for the first time and had to look very carefully at who I was sending my family with.  Jake took such great care of all of them.  It was about so much more than fishing.  All of them came back raving about how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed themselves.  They all learned about the area, the history, the ocean, the fish, and the ecosystems that are in the area.  Jake was so generous with his knowledge and skills.  All of them want to go back out and can't wait to go again with Jake.  I can't say enough good things about the time they had and the experience for each of their skill levels.  If you are in the area looking to go out fishing then I would highly recommend calling Reely Livin' Charters.

I saw four swings for babies/toddlers and swings for older kids are behind the slides. Street parking.

The facility is fantastic with a diverse, carefully curated range of high-end machines and exercise gear. Claudia is extremely warm, knowledgeable, and motivating--the three most important characteristics for a personal trainer. I was a serious collegiate athlete back in the day and I have worked with several personal trainers, so I can confirm that Claudia is top notch. My husband (bless his heart) has barely exercised a day in his life. Claudia somehow manages to keep our spirits and heart rates up, while customizing each of our workouts to our individual fitness levels. It's not an easy thing to do, but she does it! Also, she's just really nice (which is not always the case with trainers). The personal training rates for partner sessions are very reasonable, so I highly recommend trying to work out with a buddy if you can!
