I had heard good things about this company. I had an obvious crack in my garbage disposer. I told…read morethem I would buy an Insinkerator at Home Depot and they were to install it. There was the usual come out and take a look fee of $99.00. Technician comes out super nice apologizing for running late. He confirms disposer had crack/leak. Gets on phone to do invoice, and says to install owner purchased unit it'll be $501.00 + the $99.00 visit fee. $600 bucks for a 1 hour job. Over $700 including the garbage disposer. I almost pooped in my pants. How greedy are you to tack on the $99? Who does that. This is east Texas and one of the poorest areas in the state. I had just had one installed at my son's home for $200 in San Diego County, CA. I was stuck. Value? It was a ripoff. They talk politely but are clearly cutthroat. Get someone else to do it. Boo.

After several more days the inspector ok'd the work and notified them it was good to fill in the trenches they made. My issue is the dirt was not completely replaced, there are huge pieces of root laying all over and now I have to pick them up while mowing. Also there is sort of cable that has been dug up. I have no clue what it goes to. Now I'm waiting for the internet service to tell me if it's their cable. No one seems to know. It's there and it wasn't before. Meter s are left uncovered properly and yard looks worse than if id done this myself. Resolution? Who knows?

Too many other companies out there to have to settle for this.

As everyone knows we have had a series of hail storms here lately. Well our roof was damaged to…read morethe point that my wife's and I home started to leak. That's when we started to ask around about a contractor that would be able to help us. We were looking to not only fix our damaged roof but up grade some things since our house was built in the 70's. That's when our search led us to Aimco. We discussed what my wife and I were wanting to do as far as fixing, upgrading and the pricing. Well after I had discussed the same things with other contractors. Aimco was the only contractor close to the price range that we had to work with. So after we had agreed on what we wanted done. I ended up having to change things multiple times. Everytime I did the response I got was " yep we can do that no problem ". I was expecting the price to jump up, or him say no and give me a reason why I couldn't make the changes. They always made it work out. They started and finished up exactly when they said they would. Mid way through they found some damage to the decking of the roof and explained what had happened and how they were going to fix it so it would not be an issue in the future. Whenever it was time to clean up the mess on the ground. One of the guys who had raked up the debris on the ground. Went out of his way and took the time to reorganize the patio blocks that my dog had dug up around. To say that these guys to pride in their work and wanted a satisfied customer is an understatement. My wife and I are so pleased with the quality and work that not only will we be advertising for them in the future, but any future projects are going to be done by Aimco. They have our business for life. Seriously thank you aimco for making the headache of a leaking roof go away.

I called Barry one morning early after finding we had water leaking into our kitchen. We were…read morethinking the worst. We just moved into our home and it was built around 1985 and has copper tubing for the water lines. We thought we might have had a leak at the slab as the water was leaking out the weep holes in the bricks. Barry was tied up as were his crew. He suggested a couple of things to try that would either stop or slow the leak down. We cut the hot water off at the water heater first, but nothing changed. Then we're thought to check the refrigerator ice maker hook up. We had just had a new refrigerator delivered the day before. We moved the refrigerator out only to find that the guys who delivered the refrigerator had only finger tightened the connection and it had been dripping all night. I wanted to give Barry at R&B a shout out because he promptly returned my call and although he couldn't make it at the time he did give some good suggestions to try to negate the problem. I will call R&B for any issues or work that come up in the future!!
