I have nothing but good things to say about Megan.
I stumbled into energy healing while trying learn more about acupressure techniques I could do on my own, at home - largely related the occasional sports injury and muscle tightness, plus IBS that no doctor seemed able to fix.
(I had gotten tired of going to - and having to pay for - acupuncture appointments.)
Acupuncture/acupressure works on the concept of energy flowing through meridians, and Megan's work builds upon those concepts - with tests ( Kinesiology) of which meridians may be out of whack. In addition to giving your system a tune-up in a session, Megan gives simple exercises you can do at home to keep the energy systems working smoothly. (Megan is a practitioner of Donna Eden's Energy Medicine techniques. It goes beyond meridians into chakras and other energy systems.)
I would especially recommend women with IBS to consider this. (Am I the only one to notice that so many people have IBS, the pharmaceutical industry now calls it "chronic idiopathic constipation?" That translates as "We don't know how to fix it.")
After probably 8 years of suffering through IBS, Megan's work -- and the techniques she's taught me to do on my own -- have done far, far more for me to put IBS in the past than any cocktail of probiotics, fiber, yoghurt, etc, etc that I've tried in conjunction with conventional doctors.
While "energy work" (and the Donna Eden book) may come across as a little flakey, Megan herself is refreshingly not. It's not a hippie-dippie candles-and-incense and wishful-thinking experience. There's a reason some of these techniques have been around for centuries, and Megan's a normal person who knows how to work with them.
If you're feeling drab in any way, or have something annoyingly inexplicable - IBS, migraines, insomnia, etc -- I'd definitely recommend giving Megan and energy healing a try. It's done great things for me. read more
