After having a procedure completed that had significant cost to it ultimately the results weren't 100%. Overall the procedure was definitely painful on the recovery side. Truthfully I would say that 90% of the job was complete. When she went in for her post op meeting it was recognized that there were some areas that were not completed and it was stated that we want to make sure you are completely happy. Fast forward a few months on the second post op, again recognizing that the job was incomplete when having the conversation of rectifying all of a sudden there is addition $1500 charge. When she didn't immediately agree they offered $1000 for the follow up procedure. Look I'm not saying that the results weren't not good overall, however the job is not complete. Ultimately I don't think it's good business to mislead with the thought that a follow up procedure would be covered in the original cost and then ask for secondary payments.

I became a surrogate with Hawaii Surrogacy Center in 2019, and it was a life-changing experience I'm forever grateful for. I was open with my concerns about having my tubes tied and still being on accutane, but the Director assured me we could wait until my dermatologist cleared me to get pregnant, and that my tubal ligation would not interfere with my journey as a gestational carrier. I was guided through the whole screening process and given a healthy timeline to make sure my body was ready to carry a baby to term. All of my questions throughout the journey were answered quickly and thoroughly, and the coordinators stuck by my side until the baby was safely home with his parents and legally theirs. I fell in love with the agency's staff and their work in the surrogacy world so much, that I ended up joining the team myself. I believe in the impact they're making in the world and I wanted to be apart of surrogacy even after my own journey was complete.

I think there may be Prozac pumped into the gorgeous PINK facility, because everyone is so happy and chill! (after my visit I realize that this is b/c "Doctor Joe" is such a sweetie, gives you plenty of time and attention and HELPS YOU!!!!). I signed in, per the sign, on the computer. I waited for almost a half hour before inquiring about my appointment. They spelled my last name wrong, a common mistake for me, unfortunately - an i before e thing . . . I then was taken to my table and waited for Dr. Iannelli for about 20 minutes. I played on my cell, but there was a sign to not, plus to relax. Okay, I put my "pacifier" away as instructed. In floats "Doctor Joe." What a doll baby. (I'm biased to Italians, I must admit - "we" are warm and loving people (in general!). We talked in depth about my issues, concerns, and overall health. He explained exactly what he would be doing (ie - adjustments). He was spot on about where my pain was and told me the exact corresponding vertebrae - so wild! I am very much into alternative medications and holistic healing. Dr. Iannelli gave me post appt instructions and warned me that I might be sore the next day, etc. I followed my instructions (icing and laying flat on a hard floor for 3-5 minutes b/f bed) and even went to bed 1/2 hour earlier (I have terrible sleep hygiene!) and woke up FEELING BETTER. NOT my imagination. My range of motion was much better and my pain level probably went down from a 9 to a 6 ? I can't wait to go back on Saturday - not even kidding! ps - got a business card for a free ten minute massage :)
