The Kebab here is the best. I love it. Having extra cheese and lamb are an add on. So delicious.

We all have that favourite kebab shop that we swear has the best kebabs in all of Sydney. Well, I'm…read moresorry, but unless your favourite kebab shop is also Brothers Kebabs on Princes Highway, you are sadly mistaken. Playing homage to their Turkish origin the Brothers boys ensure all their kebabs are of genuine Turkish quality with only the best meats on offer including beef, lamb and chicken to mix and match with the fillings of your own choice - including tabouli, lettuce, onion, cheese, tomato and more - to create the ultimate kebab to suit your tastebuds. Prices are average starting from $8.50 for a kebab and extra for special fillings, which may seem steep but at the end of the day, how can you put a price on absolute satisfaction? And for just an extra $3.50 make sure you order hot chips as a side, their slightly lemony flavoured chicken-salted chips are a definite must. But to make things even better, the kebab shop is open til late for all those party goers looking for a late night feed after a big night out. They say alcohol makes your food taste better, but in this case, trust me, it doesn't need it.

This place is an institution. Most of us who lived down south would've been to Brothers…read moreKebab...most often at 2am on our way home in a cab and rarely would we remember it the next day unless You took it to bed with you (the kebab, mind out of the gutter please) If I've just described your every experience at Brothers, do yourself a favour and turn up during the day and/or while you're sober because you're missing out! The kebabs are not only good, they are also consistent... they're juicy and delicious Every. Friggin. Time. As for which kebab and what combo, everyone's got their fav and swear to god bro it's like the best, you'll never eat anything else, so I'll let you choose your's. If you're not onto it already have it with the yoghurt drink, perfect combo.

Cute restaurant near the bridge walk we were about to take…read more Lots of gluten free options. Basically their food presentation is to put the food on boards and make them look artsy. I loved it. Basically ordered the avocado toast but when it came out it looked so artsy and more food than a basic avocado toast. My gluten free toast was a little burnt though. The service wasn't great. Took awhile to get our food. Almond milk Lattes were really good and frothy. Sometimes it's hard to get frothy almond milk. Nice attention to detail on the decor and food presentation. Fun little cafe. Pricey though for breakfast. I think I got the cheapest thing on the menu They were having a cute market right next to the restaurant so that made it even cooler.

Today we stopped by the market to shop around for interesting souvenirs…read more SERVICE - You went up to the counter and ordered there. Once you found a seat, the would bring you your food. I did see other people who got seated and ordered from a menu as well. I assume it worked both ways. FOOD Gyro Wrap - You could pretty much customize your own wrap. I did a very basic beef, lettuce, onion, tabbouleh, and garlic sauce. The meat was flavorful and tender. The veggies tasted fresh and the pita was warmed. The garlic sauce was a bit too mild for my liking. I was hoping they would have some sort of tzatziki sauce but they did not. Overall, fairly healthy meal that tasted great!

Walking along George Street, you pass by several food establishments. I was on a hunt, looking for…read moresomewhere that sold kangaroo meat. Lo and behold, Oz Turk Pizza and Kebabs had a huge chalkboard sign in front of their store with the word "kangaroo" in large font. And it was just around the corner from my hotel too! I walked in on a Wednesday evening, roughly past 9pm. The place was empty and unbearably hot. I couldn't imagine how the people working here don't suffer from a heat stroke. Although Oz Turk has an extensive menu including pizza, kebabs, pastas, salads, burgers, etc, I skipped browsing the menu on the wall and asked for a kangaroo burger with chips. For my first time trying kangaroo meat, I was quite impressed. It wasn't as gamey as I anticipated, and it tasted a little bit like beef. The meat was so tender and juicy I almost forgot how dry and stale the bun was. The thick-cut chips were fresh, not overly salted, though borderline undercooked because the center was a little grainy and chewy. Service was quick and friendly. I appreciated how my burger and chips were made fresh, because the pizza slices under a heat lamp all day didn't look so appetizing. Oz Turk is open 24 hours a day, which seems to fit nicely on the George St scene.

Great Kangaroo Kebab!! The meat is tender and intense in flavour! My friend had the kangaroo…read moreburger, but the kebab was so much better! I liked it so much, that I went back the night after again, haha..keeps you from a bad hangover too. For 9.50 very achievable! And they are open every night during the night - so if you are looking for a midnight snack :) Go and try it!
