After sending many emails and not hearing back from anyone, I decided to do a Yelp blast and Michele was the first person to respond. Even though she's based on Staten Island, we were able to work out a time to meet up in the city for both drop off and pick up of my items. Throughout the entire process, Michele was amazing. She is incredibly attentive to detail, really cares about producing quality work that would fill her clients with joy, oh, and she happens to be the world's biggest sweetheart. As she worked, she contacted me to show me her progress and when I saw the place cards she made for my husband and me, I totally ugly cried some tears of joy! Lorenzo and his team at Bedford Refinishing handcrafted an exact copy of the original pedestal base, reattached the new base to the upper pedestal and secured three brass-capped legs to the pedestal. I reached out via IG as the project I wanted was not listed on the site. I wanted customized pillow cases for my upcoming vacation. All in all, Andre responded to my inquiry the same day AND get this?!......... the total price was super affordable. I purchased 2 satin pillow cases via Amazon and provided Teez Cafe with the pillow cases for the customization. He pulled up my project on the screen to allow me to make any additional edits, etc. Talk about super accommodating. I paid $30 for 2 customized pillow cases and he accepts cards. One thing I will add is appointments are mandatory, no walk-ins! Especially since its a black-owned business and sort of hard to find. But it's totally worth it. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention it took him 3-4 days to finish my project AND once completed delivered it to me in a nice tote bag. I'm sure he has tons of other complicated orders to fulfill.
