In addition to great service and attention to detail in framing work at this place, I really loved so many frame selections they had for me to choose from. I am not the easiest person to please and I know can be very choosy at times. However, the owner was very patient and explained all the questions I asked. I have no doubt that I had one too many questions but he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the frame selections I made with the paintings I brought in. He has workshops at the premise so I could tell he builds all the frames there. As a result, his price was very reasonable compared to other frame shops I had been to in the past. The end result was fabulous and I couldn't be more happy that I had it done from this business. I learned later that this frame shop has been here for over twenty years and I think that explains volumes for good work they have been doing. I recently visited Kris at Frames & Enmarcados Arte with a signed poster from the HAMILTON Puerto Rico production. I wanted it framed in glass with a slim black frame. Kris recommended we add matting to protect the signatures from the glass. My wife suggested a thin black mat and she was completely right. Kris did a beautiful job and got the job done on time so I could surprise my friend before she left town. I have been coming here for years. Kris does excellent work and it is always nice to see his old dog, Popa, which means "kisses." I just framed some blown-up Cuban postage stamps that identify cacti named by a friend of mine and they came out awesome. I enjoy working with Kris to pick borders, frame, width, etc. I usually have a good idea of what I want, but he has been doing this for thirty years.
