While I understand businesses may ask questions about service animals, the way this was handled was incredibly unprofessional. Krysta loudly questioned me in front of other customers and began reading questions from a paper about what tasks my dog performs. When I tried to explain that I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), she was dismissive and laughed, which was humiliating and embarrassing. Not all disabilities are visible. I felt singled out, judged, and treated with a lack of respect simply because I do not "look disabled." My dog was clearly identified as a service animal, and I even offered proof when questioned. What upset me most was not being asked a question, but the rude and public manner in which I was treated. No customer should be made to feel embarrassed because of a disability. Unfortunately, after this experience, I do not plan on returning.

I don't know the owner's son's name, but he sure took care of me, calmed me down and good company to take my mind off of much going on. Tanners had me back on the road with a new tire within an hour at a surprisingly reasonable cost. At first I thought that this was small town kindness, but really it was just a small business doing their absolute best to take care of others in need. Might just drive the 2 hours to use for any issues with my car. Kudos to you Tanner's! You don't know how much appreciated you are!

I stopped by here to fill up and use the restroom on Masters Sunday morning, April 12, 2026. I used Pump #6 of 16 and paid $4.649 per gallon for premium. Gas prices have been up because of the Iran war. The men's room was clean. The convenience store has a Chester's Chicken and Subway attached. There's also a Waffle House next door, which my friend and I stopped at on our way back to Atlanta in the evening.

While I was only here for topping off my tank, I did notice one thing that really didn't sit well…read morewith me. When I went inside to put the cash down for the gas, there were a bunch of those plastic shipping & storage containers that these stores use when deliveries are made, lined up against the counter. And, they were stacked to the top edge of the counter. In addition, after pumping gas, I went back inside to get my change. Well, I told the clerk, Change on 1, and a receipt. Also, just give me the bills, and pay the change forward (was .32 cents; not a lot. But, I'm avoiding having loose change. Well, not only did he go to give me all the change, he didn't give me a receipt. So, when he tried to get it, he couldn't (now I don't need it for taxes. But, I do track my expenses + using the receipt for points). Luckily, he was able to print another receipt that he gave me. Don't ask me why, butl, I got a feeling of dirtyness in the place. At least I was there just for fuel. And, not food.

I ran out of milk on Thursday. And, since I was in the process of clearing out my old apartment, I haven't done any shopping. So, rather than fighting the crowds at the one of the other stores, I stopped here on my way back from Macon. To be honest, I'm not a fan of this location. Not only is it way too small, and, too narrow, for the amount of traffic they can get, coming in from the West, youmake a right turn in on a 45 degree angle. And, parking is either the same angle, or, you park on a 90 degree angle. But, when vehicles are at the pumps (as was the case today, getting out of the West side parking lot is a challenge, as it can involve a modified 3 or 4 point maneuver. And of course, like most of these kinds of store, you're paying a lot more for the same items. I was in, and out pretty quickly. The cashier was nice. Though, what I found a bit amusing, is they have the 6 foot social distancing lines on the floor, for standing in line. But, at the register, one can find themselves standing almost shoulder to shoulder with another store customer.. Good place to stop in an emergency. But, for sure, I wouldn't stop here regularly.

But, when I asked about the product, said, Sorry, not that. But, we do have some wines in the cooler (think 1 door, 5 shelves). The place was pretty clean. My rating has more to do with Google misrepresenting what the place carries, rather that the place itself not having what I needed.

So, hopefully, she'll tell Yelp that they're Open. Today, I noticed that their shelves were stocked better than last time. So, that's great news. When I told her my favorite beer, it turns out that their associated, and next door, store, Tiger's Bottle Shop (separate review forthcoming), is a Beer and Liquors store. And, had the beer that I like! So, really good news, as I no longer have to rely on InstaCart for beer delivery (save money, too). And, because TsBS didn't have any Honey Roasted Cashews, the Manger of TsM&G, walked back to the store, and brought over a few packets of them. Both cashiers were really nice, which made shopping there a pleasure.

Mechanics get a bad rep for trying to rip you off and half the time thats the truth but I have to say James Cates has always been honest with me. He may not give you the news you like but you can bet its the truth. His prices are reasonable. The only reason I've ever gone anywhere else is because he was booked at the time. If you want an honest mechanic James Cates is the man.
