It was astounding as the amount of merchandise and number of customers was huge. It could have been overwhelming as I've seen many other companies not able to handle such a volume of customers and merchandise. Betty in particular was beyond awesome, she was working with the huge volume of jewelry at a counter and it could be hectic at times with the number of customers however Betty kept her cool, was friendly, efficient and professional. You couldn't ask for more especially in that hectic environment! Josh and his wife were also great, so efficient. We have been to several estate sales and done several auctions with Augie & Bear. We almost always…read morefind unique and vintage items. We also shop their warehouse store too. Owners and staff are quite friendly and helpful. Others have complained of incorrect charges. One thing you need to do on estate sale items is inventory your purchases to make sure you are charged correctly. We have had a couple of cases where things did not add up and we pointed this out and issues were corrected promptly.

Loaded an extra-large dumpster full of stuff people could use, because people didn't want to pay for very over-priced things. They'd rather fill the landfill than actually find new owners for things. Outrageous nonsense pricing = quite a lot of stuff just getting thrown away. If you want someone to run an estate sale in an ethical or sustainable way, or heck, just run one in a way that won't make all the neighbors sad or mad, or hey even just treat neighbor kids with some kindness/decency like maybe they are people... look elsewhere.
