Just came here for the first time and had a great experience! Staff (Chance, Tricia, and Maya) was friendly and knowledgeable and solved our phone problems quickly. Chance cleaned up my phone and got my ringer working again. Tricia fixed a problem with my husband's phone that another Verizon store told him couldn't be fixed! I had purchased a tablet from this location on Black Friday, but hadn't been able to get a case or screen protector for it yet. I drive long haul and I'm rarely in town. A little over a week ago, I was getting near home, so I pulled out the tablet in my truck that has a padded floor in the sleeper berth to get it set up. My tablet fell less than two feet onto the padded floor and hit just right, shattering the screen. I was annoyed, but I figured I'd just file a claim with the device insurance when I got home. I found out through trying to fiie that claim that the insurance had somehow been removed and that it had happened in this store on Black Friday. I went into the store and they did help me get the insurance reinstated, but the damage to my tablet won't be covered because the insurance wasn't in effect at the time it happened. However, in trying to get things straightened out, I've received shifting, inconsistent, and contradictory statements about how this all happened. I never intended to remove physical damage protection from all devices on my account. First the store said that it had been removed at my request on Black Friday morning and that they had nothing in writing stating that I had requested it. Now their corporate office says that they do have it in wriiting and that it happened Black Friday night. If I had signed something like they say, it was because it wasn't properly explained and I did not understand what was being stated. I can't fault Verizon because thsi is a third party company. I can't fault the insurance company because they were doing what Russell Cellular told them. I asked about possible upgrades or any other way to reeplace this tablet and was told that the only way I could get another tablet would be to pay full retail price. This isn't an iPhone 11 Pro Max or a new Motorola Razr. It's a Samsung TabA 8" that retails for $250. Still, Russell Cellular is unwilling to do anything to help with the problem that they caused. If you decide to do business with them, keep your own records and get everything in writing, but I recommend going elsewhere. read more
