He is excellent at communicating which muscles interact with others, and making sure you are comfortable with the amount of pressure/location of massage. He found all my problem spots without having me to point him there, and has a real focus on guiding you through the most relaxing and meditative experience. As with all massages, a weird energy/relationship can quickly ruin the entire experience, but this gladly wasn't the case. Even though this was my first visit, the connection felt immediate and authentic. I knew I was in a safe space, and Luis is a professional. Recommend to everyone looking for a great massage.

I had previously tried acupuncture once and found it relaxing, so I felt comfortable giving it another try for general tension. During my session, I mentioned to the practitioner Jason, that my neck started to feel unusual and tense, which I hadn't experienced before. I was told this could be part of the process, and an adjustment was made. However, I still didn't feel quite right and communicated that at the time. After the session, I felt somewhat disoriented, though additional cupping and massage provided some temporary relief. Within about 24 hours, my symptoms worsened, including dizziness, vertigo, hearing impairment, and headaches, which led me to seek emergency care. Over the following week, I consulted multiple doctors. While they could not provide a definitive timeline for recovery, due to nerve damage diagnose. The general guidance was to allow time for healing. I kept the practitioner informed throughout, and while he did respond to updates initiated by me, I personally felt uncertain about what may have contributed to my experience. Later, it was mentioned that some needles may have shifted during the session, which was surprising to hear after the fact. Withholding such crucial information, would have helped all the doctors come to a diagnose sooner.
