Only €1.30 a day hire when rental is quiet means you will have a FRAUDULENT claim on your credit card from this company to make up profits! In past I would recommend these to anyone as I have had 10x rentals this year with no problems but at a regular cost of about€12 a day. BE WARY OF THIS RENTAL COMPANY in Alicante Airport.

Unfortunately no buses were around. That was ok because the Town Centre is located near the port and is a 1.5 km walk from the ship to town. It is a beautiful and vibrant town with an abundance of fast food, sit down restaurants and shops to enjoy. Along the Marina you will find street vendors selling shoes, t shirts, clothing and jewelry. Deals to be had. As you exit the i the Marina, you will see a tourist office with maps and information on how to get around. There are English speaking staff here. If you know Spanish, all the better. The quality also is very good. The customers just have to know that it is not the cheapest place to go shopping. On the other hand it has the convenience that many things can be bought in the same, air conditioned building. Also, there is a second El Corte Ingles just around the corner (in the Avenida Maissonnave 53, 03003 Alicante), just 3 walking minutes away. There, some departments are much bigger (e.g. suitcases or sunglases).

I'm sure they are delightful people just misunderstood. Anyway I think the return journey which was spectacular in places as it hugged some beautiful coastline was just over £4 return. It was efficient each way, clean and uncomfortable as it was overcrowded. Thankfully the air con was effective so much so it was quite cold. It took over an hour and stopped in maybe a dozen places en route. We arrived in Benidorm station once through the, place your ticket, electronic barrier to form a disorderly uncomfortable queue for the one toilet per gender M and F rest rooms. Phew. All in all a grand day out but glad it was a day trip to Benidorm rather one from there to Alicante. But not a sign of a drunk or lager lout of any hue. Phew too.

The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and has a simple yet elegant design. Our room was modern but with white traditional stone walls, sleek fixtures, and a really cozy feel. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved having tea, coffee, a minibar, and plenty of closet space, all those thoughtful touches made a big difference. The bathroom was spotless and had everything new and shiny, including a great towel warmer and a separate shower and toilet, We had huge windows with a beautiful view of a plaza full of restaurants surrounded by palm trees and also the mountain, but thanks to the blackout curtains and great soundproofing, it was totally peaceful inside even though it was so lively outside. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Alicante's old town. Step outside and you're surrounded by restaurants, souvenir shops, ice cream places, and lovely plazas. We honestly didn't want to leave! What really made our stay special, though, was the amazing customer service. Everyone at the front desk was kind and welcoming, but a special shoutout to Miss Judit, who went above and beyond for us. She helped us check in early when my kids weren't feeling well, and was incredibly sweet and helpful from the moment we spoke on the phone. They prepared the room with little plush bears for the kids, and the sofa bed was set up and ready, such a thoughtful touch! Everything was set up perfectly, from the kettle with tea to the robes and slippers. We felt truly welcomed and comfortable from the moment we arrived. If you're heading to Alicante, we 100% recommend staying here. It was one of the best hotel experiences we've had in Europe so far and we'd go back in a heartbeat!
