BEWARE!!! WORST RENTAL CAR COMPANY!!! Just had the ABSOLUTE WORST experience at this rental car place. We rented a car in Colorado, drove out to Texas and had our tire blow out 50 minutes from our destination outside of San Antonio. We were ubered to this location to get a new car which they were unable to provide until our previous car was towed to a shop, which they told us could take several hours or DAYS! So we waited in the lobby for 2 hours while no one was able to help us get a replacement car and they ultimately got rid of us by ordering us an uber to our Airbnb. We still don't have a car, and the Assistant Manager there, John Rangel, was just as good as useless in helping us get a vehicle to use for our trip. The Branch Manager, Richard Moore, finally stepped in after 2 hours of waiting and he was also unable to get us a different vehicle. The trip was also to clear out my father's house (who just passed away) which we need a car to do. We are so upset and disappointed with our treatment and service here. We will NEVER be using enterprise again. read more

I have been an Enterprise customer for over 20 years. I've always been impressed with the customer service I've received. There have been times, they've picked me up at my house, and taken me to the Enterprise location. If there was a problem with the type of vehicle I'd reserved, they have upgraded me to a nicer vehicle. Always bending over backwards to help a customer. I rented a vehicle last week so I could drive to Amarillo. I had to move my mother into hospice. The airline canceled my flight, so I rented a car from Enterprise, even though I knew that a winter storm was coming. (Rental Agreement # 243MST) On the way back yesterday, driving through the snow and ice, I noticed the tire pressure going down quickly on the front passenger side. I was only 60 miles from Boerne, so I stopped several times, putting air in the tire so I could keep going. The vehicle was great. We got home safely last night, but I knew that it would be flat this morning, and it was. I called your office and spoke to Rich. He was very polite, and explained that I had three options:1. He could notify a roadside assistance company that Enterprise uses, and they would come and fix or swap the tire at my residence, but there would be a $50 fee.2. I could call my own insurance and get roadside assistance from them. I've done this in the past, and in a perfect world this might have worked fine, but in the past, it sometimes takes 3 hours or more for them to arrive, and I have to go to work today at noon. Plus, the vehicle had to be returned at noon, or else I would probably be charged another day's usage.3. I could change the tire myself.  Since this rental had already cost me more money than the flight ticket, I opted to change the tire myself. I also explained to Rich that I'm 63, with a heart condition, bad knees, high blood pressure, and a list of other health issues, and at the time, it was 30 degrees. Rich said there was nothing else he could do. Again, I don't know if this is a strict company policy, and I don't know if employees even have the discretion to help a loyal customer that will have problems changing a tire in the cold. But, if it is company policy, it really sucks. read more

The staff are amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable and well-versed in the attributes of their vehicles. They have a wide ranging selection, but the location is very popular and their inventory dwindle quickly. Today, John helped me upgrade my ride and he was quick! 45 minutes before my pick up time, I received a call from Enterprise to tell me they only had a smaller car than what I reserved. The only help they offered was to call customers for vehicles that were expected in. I had to make several phone calls to different Enterprise locations and when I discovered the airport location had the car I needed, the price I reserved it for would not be honored. It was nearly double the price. I was promised the regional manager would make some calls to make the reservation right. I'm still waiting. In the end they didnt have a car to give me. So making a reservation months in advance doesn't guarantee you'll get a car. read more

Awful customer service!!! I dropped my car off at a collision center and waited for two hours for them to pick me up even though they were 2 miles down the road. Supposedly they went to the wrong location first however they didn't bother to call me to reschedule it. I had to call them in order to request the ride again. When I finally got there and started the rental process for my reservation, they said they wouldn't accept my driver's license because it has a small crack at the corner. Their policy says that they don't accept severely damaged or illegible drivers license. This was just a crack, but they said it is up to their discretion. That's just absolutely ridiculous, poor customer service, and just being ignorant. And this awful customer service was from the managers Genesis Garcia-Escobedo and Juno Agbor. They do not give a flip. They were extremely rude and unapologetic. They clearly have not had any customer Service Training. Or if they have they just truly don't care. I reported this to USAA. I'm also waiting for a call from the Enterprise regional manager. I don't know why anybody does business with Enterprise. There's always problems. Mostly because they have kids running the store. And Enterprise needs to inspect this store. It's filthy and looks awful on the outside and inside. I saw the cars they were giving to people and they were not clean. Called the previous day and was told that a supervisor would make sure the car you wanted would be there. I had a car in the shop getting body damage fixed and had my insurance company arrange for a rental during the 3.5 weeks I needed a car. The last time I had dealings with Enterprise here in Boerne things didn't go well. But they seem to be back on track and like they were before Covid. read more

Do not believe the slogan "we'll pick you up". The last two times I've rented here, they say they don't have the staff to do so or it's a 30 minute wait. The girl in charge today definitely had an attitude. The guy who originally rented to me was very helpful. He gets 5 stars. The guy who I'm waiting for to give me a ride is nice and I believe would have made a different decision but he has to listen to the person in charge, so he gets a 4. She (the decision maker) gets a 1 so we're averaging a 3.3. Try the Enterprise on 1604 and Tradesman, they've historically been better than the Boerne location. read more

Today I made a reservation by phone with Enterprise in Boerne. They told me I would be pocked up within 10 minutes. I waited for an hour with no pick up, or phone call. I reached out to them again and was told they would call me back momentarily. I waited another hour. No phone call. I called back and asked why I had not been called back and/or picked up. They told me that I was too far away. I asked why they had not let me know this before and they once again said they would call me back. I was called by another location and greeted with "I have been told to call you but not sure why" . Never again...the worst customer service and follow through I have ever experienced. read more

I will start by saying that I tend to not leave negative reviews of places (my profile reflects this). I tend to give places several chances before deciding never to go there again or to publicly not recommend a business. I came here initially because of the great reviews from others. I was recently in an accident and I needed to get a rental vehicle until I find a new car. I got to the location this morning (7/10/18) and the man at the counter was rude, disrespectful, and downright mean including using expletives. I was absolutely shocked. I left and decided to go with another rental service further up the highway. I paid more money at the other company but everyone was lovely and far more pleasant. I want to give credit where credit is due, and I will say that the facility looked clean and the lot was also spotless. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but I will personally never be going there again. I would rather pay more to receive better service. I was shocked and very disappointed. But it appears in this instance that you get what you pay for, or rather not as the case may be. read more

We had to put our vehicle in the shop several times over the past few months because of recall issues, and were not given definite pickup times. Enterprise has been accommodating to the extensions and every other aspect of renting. The first time we had our vehicle in the shop, they gave us a special rate. My husband rented from them again a few weeks later, and was under the impression they would give us that rate again. The price of the rentals went up (likely due to demand), but the employees at Enterprise honored the rate we rented at the previous time! It was only about $15/day less, but that $15/day of savings just got you a lifelong customer and recommendations to all of our friends. This location is significantly higher than you'll pay for a rental in San Antonio, but it's very convenient, never has long lines and checking the vehicle back in was a smooth process. Our vehicles have been spotless, and one only had a few hundred miles on it. We live in San Antonio, and drive the 30 minutes out to Boerne for a reason. I've rented cars from almost every rent-a-car company and I have never seen a group of employees as helpful, sincere and friendly as the staff in Boerne. They have a car ready for me when I arrive and it is always clean and in great shape. I rent a full size car once a month from them and every car has been perfect. The staff is really what makes this location so special. While the staff may have a bad day or a busy day they always have a friendly smile and a great disposition when I talk with them. They apologized repeatedly when I had to wait 5 min once to have a vehicle finish getting detailed for me, I wasn't even in a hurry and had plenty of time to wait. They still worked as fast as possible to get me on the road. Every time I've been there I am in/out in minutes. I wish every company had a staff like this. read more

No so good they were supposed to pick me up at 1:30 and never showed so at 3:30 they picked up my husband. When I called I made sure I was getting an suv not a car ... They tried to give my husband a car. After refusing he was given and suv that had a tire light on and no antenna .... Therefore no radio.... And the back was full of dog hair... So it wasn't even cleaned...I called and was to be met at noon the next day to switch cars... They didn't show and meet me till 1:30... And they dropped of a car that was defiantly better but smells like cigarettes GROSS... And This car was also not cleaned there was red sticky stuff all over the radio and controls..... Do yourself a huge favor...go elsewhere. Anywhere else. Especially if your auto insurance carrier is paying them. They will charge them AND your credit card, and during the interim of your finding out...and them dinking around correcting their "mistake" or whatever, you'll want to kill yourself. UPDATE: After a few months, my bank said they couldn't prove Enterprise overcharged me, so let stand the charge for extra insurance beyond the 10days I purchased(so, several hundred $). On day 11, I took the rental in for inspection, they had people 3-deep at the counter. The mgr said "Yes, I remember your dog," 'n sent a guy out to inspect the car, who said it's good to go. This Location was rude. My scheduled rental for a week was given to someone else. I was upset and let them know it. I immediately called customer service, who were nice and helpful. I was told that I would have a car the next morning if at all possible. Well, the next morning someone from this location called me to say they did not have a car and would not have one for me all week. I called customer service back and was told that was wrong. There should be a car available and they would get back to me. Meanwhile someone I Spoke with Told me I was on a "do not rent" list because I cursed at them. The worst language I used was "pissed". The Next person I spoke to assured me I was not on any such list and they had gotten me a car from the Kerrville location, who were so helpful and friendly. I was very iffy about buying from a big name company, salesmen at other lots I went to were very pushy and didn't really care and were scam artitsts. I had to rent a car due to an auto accident. Not only did they come TO MY HOUSE and pick me up, the nice young man, got out and came around to open my door for me. So far, I am very impressed. We made nice conversation on the way to the lot and when I walked into the office area, I was greeted with a sincere welcome; not a rehearsed and tired welcome. The office staff was helpful, friendly and quick. I was taken out to my new ride for the week. It was a brand new vehicle and after a brief introduction to the car, I was on my way. GREAT job! So, I have been trying to find a car for the last year since I've moved to San Antonio. My mom had made a visit to the enterprise on I10 and AlexandrIa had referred me to go to the Boerne location to see their car sale lot. Cait helped me the entire time and she was just so patient with my every need (I am a very picky person) and really helped me find the car I could go home in. She even made my sister a cup of hot cocoa which was so generous and awesome of her! She explained everything necessary and beyond about the vehicle I was getting myself into and was just so helpful. She really is awesome! Lol. Alex and the other staff JT & Johnny were also very friendly and really do make you feel comfortable and give such great advice. I'm a young, first time buyer with poor credit and I was rushing and very busy and I wasn't sure that I wouldn't even get a car let alone the car I wanted due to my smaller down payment. Ray and Alex made sure I left there happy. They showed me car after car and when I just wouldn't settle they contacted the banks again and got me approved for financing for a 2015 model with an affordable payment. They even gave me a charger to use when my phone died. Ray came all the way to my house, and even took me to get a $$ order for the down payment. I mean they really made this car buying process easy. Alex explained the details of my contract in a detailed but understandable way and they answered every question I had. They even helped me find the best possible insurance policy.
