First, I have to confess that I didn't even know that Casey Jones was a real human being, I just knew the name from the Grateful Dead song. But next to the museum, they have the actual home of the real-life Casey Jones. If you have an electric vehicle, there are plenty of chargers on the property to charge your vehicle. I would hazard a guess that there are not a lot of other options in Jackson, Tennessee. This tourist trap is conveniently located just off of the interstate and if you are in Jackson, Tennessee, it is worth stopping by and checking out. All in all, it is a pretty cool place to check out if you are in the area or just passing through. I would give it four stars as an overall rating.

Had an engine similar to Casey's that you could check out and take pictures with. Afterwards went and saw Casey Jones house, that was moved from its original location. It wasn't quite as exciting because it had much of it glassed up. Then we went to Casey Jones' actual grave and paid our respects. The grave is not onsite, and it's problematic to get to. I thought the restaurant was nice, and the food was better than expected. Wifey loved the shopping in the village. We had a good time and will go back maybe as a weekend trip.

I noticed a few things at this rest area including a nicely manicured lawn with covered picnic tables (no BBQ grills), interpretive signs sharing a little history during the Civil War in TN, fully stocked vending machines were available, a sign by the parking spaces that said: Music Highway and names of Isaac Hayes, Tina Turner, Booker T and the MG's (I thought it was cool) and inside the facility were black&white framed pictures of them hung on the wall. They have a number of different sites to choose from based on how big your trailer is or if you want to tent camp. They even have small little cabins to rent but keep in mind they don't have a kitchen or bathroom in the cabin. The lake is clean and great for any boat, kayaks, jet skis, etc... There is a private beach and swim area for campers to use and our boys loved it. A few things to improve and I would have given another star. While most campsites have full hookups for water and electric, they do not have individual sewage hookups. There is a dump site that you either need to drive up to or you can buy a tank tote to empty your sewage into and roll to the dump site. Depending on how often you use the bathroom, do dishes, take showers etc... you may be making that trip quite a bit. The other thing to improve was they have a very nice bath house but the shower heads don't have a lot of pressure. They are also very small so trying to shower off your kids too is a little tight. The last thing is they don't currently have Redneck Island opened. It includes inflatables and an obstacle course out on the water. They are hoping to have it open again next year so fingers crossed! We saw lots of pictures on the site of it but when we got there it was closed. Overall, if you are looking for a camping site, Beech Lake Family Camping Resort is a great choice!

There are simply not enough words in this world to describe what the new management has done and is currently doing to destroy this park. The new management has been very dishonest with the current residents. For example: I watched new management roam around the park for weeks without saying anything to anybody about any problems on their property. As soon as we signed, the new leases that we were required to sign or you were going to be evicted, they wanted to start putting notices up on the door for things they thought needed to be taken down on our lot. Never once with a Old Management did they have a problem with the things on my lot but I completely understood new management was taking over the park and the rules would be different. My problem with the entire situation was they gave me 24 hours to take down a fence. It took a week to build. And I had to get hateful over the phone with the office manager (which she told me "I'm just the office manager"), and somebody else who's over the property who doesn't even live relatively close to a Parkway Village to get an extended amount of time to take down my fence. They simply could've knocked on my door on the weeks prior, and said once we take over management, this is going to have to come down. The fence was built so my dogs would actually have somewhere to play and be able to run. New management does not seem interested in building any accommodations for people with pets there. So if you have a dog that likes to play and run you'll have to take them to the park down the road. I say all that to say if you move into this park and sign their lease you will shortly start to have problems as well. I'm not the only one in the park who's had problems due to new management. Cars are no longer allowed to be parked in the extra parking by the office, new campers are not to be welcomed at this park, because they are not going to allow them anymore, and so on. It just never ends with this place . And if you think I'm lying just add yourself to their little Facebook group within the community you'll see it all! Let me add: most of the people within this community are great people! And the park is BEYOND safe for the area. I truly never had one problem in this park when it comes to my property being stolen/damaged (which says a lot because the park isn't on the best side of town).

I am so glad I did!! Love the Denver Air Connections! Everyone was so nice and getting through was so much easier than going to BNA. Way more affordable than any other airline that is out there! If you love roomy seats and actually real snacks on flight and not the microscopic bag of pretzels that the other airlines give you then fly through Denver Air!! I can't wait to travel with them again and I may even up my trips to Illinois based on this experience alone!

The airport is easy to get to and plenty of parking. They let you keep your car parked there for free. Great deal! The place is very clean and the staff is super friendly. There was no long lines, which is a huge bonus. Nice bathrooms and nearby vending machines. The waiting area has couches and tv's to make your wait comfortable. A few minutes before takeoff they walk you out to the plane and help you on. Smooth flight and super easy. Can't wait to try it again!
