The bathroom was updated with more modern equipment. The kitchen of course is small, but still great for preparing a meal. We enjoyed the charcoal grill and the Adirondack rocking chairs. The trails are nice. The lake is quite charming. The only downside is the amount of goose poop near the beach area and leading to the walkway across the water. It would be great to put some sort of goose deterrent or power wash the sidewalks on a regular basis in order to fix this issue. The check in process was quick and easy and the rangers were helpful. It is nice being off the grid. The Wi-Fi is very weak in the cabins, but we actually appreciated that because technology shouldn't be the focus of your weekend away from home.

This site was level with incredible tree shade but unfortunately the voltage was consistently low. Running one A/C dropped us down to 106 volts. Yikes! And our electrical post did not have any standard outlets, so plugging in the second A/C was not an option. More bad news! Successfully programmed 20 or so over the air TV channels. My AT&T phone had one bar and the hotspot wifi was ok. This campground has definitely seen better days. Roads are torn up and in dire need of repair. Tennis courts and mini golf are in deplorable condition. Pool looked ok but we didn't try it. Lodge was closed due to Covid-19. Free wifi was available on the lodge deck but it was slow. Staff does not clean the restrooms on a regular basis. The garbage in the men's restroom was not emptied once during our one week stay. One of the washing machines was ok but the three dryers were rusted and barely worked. 50 cents per load seems like a good deal, but we had to do this three times to get our clothes even close to being dry. Overall this is one of the worst Thousand Trails campgrounds that we have ever stayed in.

The owner told us to pick an empty spot. They also said that they need to get over to the park since they haven't been there in awhile?????? This is a spacious local park centered around a lake, great for hiking, fishing, or just relaxing…read moreoutdoors. There's also an RV area with about 30 sites, and at only $20 a day, it's a fantastic deal. It wasn't full during our stay, which made it feel peaceful and uncrowded. My husband did complain about the mosquitoes, but oddly enough, they don't bother me as long as I'm sitting next to him, he's nature's bug spray, I guess. The camp host was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and we loved the little camp cats roaming around. One of them, Shadow, was especially adorable and even let us pet him. All in all, a great campsite with a relaxed vibe and some charming furry company. Would happily stay again.

It's bad. Not long but pot holes big enough to swim in. The campground is old and it shows. They obviously just use their location as a way to get guests because as far as the grounds it's bad. I will say the bathhouse was clean though. Easily the worst campground we have stayed at in our 18 years of RVing and my first 1 star ever for a campground that I can think of. The staff were great but the manager is horrible. I mean just a jerk. He has a bad attitude and no customer service. Trust me I know it's close to Graceland but stay at a better park and drive to Graceland. You'll thank me later
