You have to park on an uncovered lot and drag all of your luggage to the Terminal. Normally it's not a problem if there is no rain or snow and if you travel without your family. In this case The luggage carts where covered in snow and impossible to get out when I told the National Car guy(Lanzó) that i had to pull up to the terminal and unload. He said well you have enough time since your flight is delayed. So I asked if he could help and take the rental and drive it back and he of course said no and sat down. He was so short with his answer and so unwillingly to even get out of his seat and give me good customer service. Oakland, LAX, SFO, NY National is everywhere I go National is my go to. Maybe it time to try another Company with employee like that. Oh yeah, they were so unwilling to leave their chairs that they even ask me if the tank was full and if there was any dents without even going out there to verify for my sake and theirs.

Once I arrived at the airport, I had a bad experience. I waited 2 hours for the lady working the night shift to locate a toddler car seat (that was previously requested). I flew from Florida to Nebraska and had to endure three connecting flights with a toddler on my lap. All I wanted to do once I arrived was to go to my hotel room. The lady on staff had to leave the main area and go to the back and look in her inventory for the car seat. It took her over two hours for her to return. The line continued to grow and I had over 10 people behind me while my son yelled and had a temper tantrum. I was a very stressful experience.

When it looked like our car was not going to be fixed anytime soon, we went online and reserved a car at the Budget Lincoln, Nebraska Airport location, PAID, and then arranged a very expensive Lyft ride to get there. Hours later, when we were halfway there in the Lyft vehicle, the employee at that location calls me and tells me there are no cars. I was shocked and trying to process what he said and asking him to clarify and he told me "What do you want me to say? I can't give you what I don't have!" and had the nerve to get annoyed at me! Then on top of it he said I myself had to call "corporate" and cancel it if I wanted my money back. That he couldn't do it. Wouldn't do it, is my guess. I called corporate and to her credit, the representative was kind and helpful and did process our cancellation/refund. But the on site representative could not have cared less. We were literally stranded at the airport hundreds of miles from home with a broken down vehicle that was now an hour and a half away from us. So we had to pay for another very expensive Lyft ride back to Grand Island! Because of the mismanagement of this location, we spent $300 in Lyft rides, and 3 hours of travel time, trying to pick up a vehicle that we paid for that was never there. And on top of that had to deal with a surly, rude employee. Avoid Budget at all costs!

First the odometer didn't not work but they did fix that. How do I know how many miles are actually on the car? The coolant gauge does not work properly and most of the warning lights do not work. The check engine light bulb was taken out, which seems pretty questionable. These lights are important. They're there for a reason and if they're not working, how am I going to know if something is wrong? The worst thing by far is I found my airbag diagnostic monitor was disconnected. Both electrical connectors were physically disconnected. The thing that is supposed to deploy the airbags in the event of a crash were disconnected. I've basically been driving around with no airbags. I don't know what kind of car dealership this is but I would not recommend buying a car from them.

They carefully explained which parts I needed to replace when they easily could've convinced me to replace the whole brake set on both rear wheels. I was pleased with the speed, efficiency and honesty, so I had them do some additional work on the front end and changing the automatic transmission fluid. I was very pleased with the work and thought the price was reasonable. I'm writing this review now because they also recently helped me over the phone. I was having trouble with the left rear brake caliper and couldn't remember if they had changed the rotors on both sides when they worked on it previously. I called and they had the records to tell me exactly what they had done at the time. I mentioned that I was considering doing the work myself, and they were very understanding, agreeing that the price of labor for such work was considerable no matter where I would have the work done, and that they could certainly understand the rationale for trying to do the work myself. I also recently spoke to a neighbor who has gone to them for years, and had nothing but good things to say. I would highly recommend this business.

We were traveling from our home 45 minutes west to Springfield/Branson Missouri area. We stopped in Lincoln for food and noticed a weird sound from the car. We called my brother-in-law who is knowledgeable about cars, told him what was going on and sent him a video. He said "Oof! Get it to a shop!" He said the harmonic balancer needed replaced. I asked him if he had any recommendations on the area but he didn't. We looked up mechanics on the area online and Urgent Care Auto came up and the name was very fitting. We were very close so we headed over. Darrin saw my video and also said it was the harmonic balancer. He was willing to fix it right then given our situation of needing to be in Missouri by 10am the next morning (it was around lunchtime) BUT he could only get the part the next day do to part availability (because of COVID). He did tell us we were looking at about $350 to fix but it might be a little cheaper at our home mechanic. We couldn't even find a rental and didn't have a way for family to bring us our other car so we had no choice but to go back home. He was a little nervous about that but he said some people drive around with this problem and never have an issue (although they shouldn't). He said keep the RPMs down so we took it easy on the way back. We got home and dropped it off to our local mechanic, who also said the same things, and they had it fixed while we were gone. Total fix cost: $350.
