I reserved a car multiple days in advance. When I arrived on the pickup day I was advised they had my reservation but did not have my car. They stated they did not get the cars back they anticipated and it was hit or miss. That is unacceptable. There should be some sort of warning or wait list that way I could have made other arrangements. No solution or apology offered. Asked if I wanted to keep the reservation. For what? The whole point of a reservation is to make sure a vehicle is there at the time I need it. If you need a guarantee I would not reserve a vehicle from this location. read more

I rented a "luxury car".....they offered me a mini van. Not sure what part of luxury car they don't get. Don't bother making a reservation here if you have an important trip. Even with a confirmed reservation they typically over sell the cars and will have nothing for you. We have rented from Enterprise in Mooresville for several years. My husband always cleans the car when we get it and washes & waxes it while we have it and we take i back cleaner than when we got it. My issue is from my last 2 rentals where you select the car you would like to rent. Both times i put in for the rentals in advance so that it gives them time to have what we need. This past 5/7 we wanted a large suv (Expedition Max) for our family vacation. They called and left message the night before that one was not available. No I'm sorry just kiss my butt and take what i will give you was their attitude. We ended up calling corporate and that was a joke because they told me online that they should have 3 vehicles for what i needed but their inventory must not be up to date. How do you even know what you are supposed to have if your inventory isn't correct. Corporate was useless too. I agree with Paul N that your inventory needs major work. I'm so disappointed that my family had to get separate cars to drive and leave at diff times so we could get a crappy mini van. OH and to make matters worse when we went to get the mini van someone had brought back in a LG SUV that was being washed and we couldn't swap because we have already accepted the mini van. Great experience with this location and their awesome team! I had an unfortunate worst case scenario when our family van was totaled in a rear end accident and from start to finish, this team made sure my family was taken care of. They were personable, punctual, and listened to our needs. If it weren't for Cheyenne's help, the whole situation would have been much more of a nightmare! She was able to get us in another van quickly and my family was able to still make a much needed beach trip. This was everything to us! Been using Enterprise for 20 years. This location really pulled a fast one. We returned a car after hours, 13 hours before they would be back open. Two days later we got a call that the car was damaged and we owe $1300 for the dent. The car was never in any type of incident while in our possession. Our suspicion is they ran the car into something the next day when they had to move it. To cover their butts, they blamed us. We tried to fight it with our insurance company but they ended up paying Enterprise to make it easy. Basically, if you drop off after hours, make sure you take video and pictures of the car for proof. Customer service is terrible. We tried picking up our rental that we had scheduled in person the day before. We were asked a time when we wanted to pick the car, we said a time and were never explain there was a time limit for pick up. Usually when booking a rental the pick up times is flexible not our first time getting a rental. We called the next day to check if the car was ready and this woman named Shayla claiming to be the Assistant manager went from zero to 100 real quick just because we told her she didn't explain their policy properly, at no point did she mentioned to us the booking had a time limit. She even threatened us by saying "if you want my help you need to stop being rude" talk about descaling issues! Mind you at no point we screamed at her, called her name names or even said anything mean, all we said was she didn't explain we had to be there at a exact time. She refused to have us talk to the location manager. She was the one screaming to us and overreacting for been told she didn't explain that. So we weren't able to pick up a car. No wonder this place has horrible ratings. After receiving a car that was filthy and had a bit of damage along with it shaking on the highway, the staff was able to support with exchanging the vehicle. Even though they were short staff, they were happy to help. Tyler was excellent! While handling multiple customers he was on the phone with a grumpy customer. Originally I booked a reservation with Budget two minutes away from this Enterprise location and when I arrived to Budget they attempted to give me an OLD (like 7+ year old Honda) AND dirty car after they were overbooked and claimed they had nothing else for me and weren't willing to compensate me to makeup for where they dropped the ball. I had reserved the car two weeks ago so to say I was displeased would be an understatement. I went over to Enterprise and was helped within a matter of 5 minutes by Brandon and the manager Devon, and to say they delivered superior customer service would be an understatement. I rented a car over the weekend and it was super easy, as usual. I wanted to review this staff, however. I was sitting for much longer than I meant to be waiting on my ride (yes, they offered to take me, but I was going about 40 minutes away and had someone picking me up who was already going that direction). While I was there, I observed what may be the healthiest staff culture I've ever seen. Not only were they laughing and joking around with one another, but when it came time to work making dozens of confirmation calls, they had this attitude of "ok, let's get this done, team!" If I needed a job, I'd prob be begging to work there. I'm sure they have bad days, too, but I left feeling so happy after what was such a stressful weekend. I travel very often, usually by air and then renting cars from the airports. Occassionally better travel options are just renting a car and driving. I was under the impression a "reservation" ensures you will get a vehicle...apparently not. On July 26 I reserved a vehicle for Sept 29 pickup. This was a business trip. On Friday, Sept 27 I received a call from Mooresville Enterprise to confirm my reservation. I advised I will be at the location on Sunday morning for the scheduled pick up. "We look forward to seeing you" was the response. I arrived at 11:30am for my 12pm pickup. After checking for my reservation I was advised "I am sorry but, I don't have any cars left for you". What? My reservation was made and confirmed the other day. "I understand, but we don't have any cars left." I have to say the Sunday morning staff at the Mooresville location was very apologetic and did try to find a solution. Scrounged around checking out other vehicles around back but apparently they were not in driveable condition. I suggested getting something from Charlotte Douglas Airport. A call was made to Enterprise at Charlotte Douglas Airport but they didn't answer. Needless to say, I had to fend for myself. My travel was originally going to be 410 miles north. I was able to make a reservation with another car rental at the airport but now had to had to drive 40 miles in the opposite direction and make parking reservations for my POV (added costs). My total trip, including drive to airport was now 490 miles. A great disruption, inconvenience and delay to my travel resulting in a very late arrival to scheduled appoinment. Again, you make a reservation for dinner to ensure you get seated. Make a reservation for a car so you know you will have the ability to complete your travel on time. Not with this company. My absolute last choice. I will now just drive 40 mins in the oppoiste directions just to be sure I get a vehicle. read more

In January they gave me a Hyundai Veloster to drive in a snowstorm. I gave them a pass because they claimed some people had not returned their cars due to the snow. This time they Cancelled my reservation because they said I was late and there was no phone number associated with the reservation, so they could not call me. This was a corporate reservation, so not only was my name, phone and rewards number associated with the reservation, there was also our home office and travel agent. They made no attempt to arrange a car from another enterprise location. I wasted 2 hours trying to rent another car, to no avail. I have rented from this location many times over the last few years, but I will not return. read more

Horrible location and straight lies to me about what they can do when state of Georgia did exactly what there corporate said they are trained to do. My family and I were hit by lady who ran red light. I was told to go to local branch in North Carolina or any state to do exchange for rental I picked up in Pennsylvania. I reached out to this location and gentlemen who answered and branch manager both said they can't do that!! Only airport locations can. So I called different local branch and there branch manager said all locations am an do that in any state not just in North Carolina. I rented a car to use while getting mine fixed. The car that the rep brought me the rental car to the place I dropped off my car was absolutely disgusting inside. Every fabric seat in the car was completely stained and the car smelled. It looked like someone peed on every seat. I tried to refuse the car and get a different one as I had to have a car to use but the rep from Enterprise said this was the only car they had available, but he would call me when another became available. He never called. I was disgusted using this car and mortified when anyone got inside with me. After I returned the car, I learned the car was then taken out of their fleet of cars. If this is representative of the cars Mooresville Enterprise has and how they take care of a paying customer, I suggest staying away from them!! I know I will never use them again!!! read more

I made a reservation and it was confirmed the day before pick up. The next day(Friday) two hrs before pickup I receive a phone call from an unprofessional employee of Enterprise stating no car is available. I can pick up one on Monday sorry. My reservation was original for two days. I ask to speak to the Manager. The manager further explained that my license was from out of state and I made an reservation with a debit card. I cannot say no fault of the employees but really it is so where do I go with my complaint. I simply don't have the time to spend any longer than this review. Already wasted 90 minutes of my life trying to rent a car for a week. Some days ago I booked a pick up truck to rent. Albeit no so cheap and asked for something nice. Low and behold from 150 yards looked ok. It was not. Beat up rear door soil or muck in the bed, and inside dirt dirt and grime around the plug in area for the seat belt and the seat adjuster ( two place you use immediately once seats). Not clean. And in the environment so NOT SANITISED to say the least. The manager tried to tell me it was but eventually succumbed to agreeing it was not. Prior to seeing him I had been shown two other vehicles which were stained and one sub sized and stained. Was told they had a large SUV but would be $75 a day more. Ridiculous. Anyhow. An assistant manager came to see me and said she could get a car cleaned at another location. It would take a while. I asked how long ? She said probably not as long as my conversation with her was going to take. So. Needless to say that is when the actual fore mentioned manager cane out. He/they had a chance to do the right thing. Upgrade / downgrade whichever. All I wanted was a clean clean car. So instead. Had my son come collect me.. I'll head to the airport later and get a real service. Maybe. It Hertz. read more

Reserved a van for vacation on 10/18/2023, 30 days prior to the planned departure date of 11/17/2023. Three days prior (11/14/2023) to the date of departure I received an email from the branch manager that they wanted to confirm the reservation because they had overbooked all their vans. Shortley after that I received a voicemail that the vehicle in question was at the dealership for repair and they did not know if it would be ready by the reservation date. I returned their call and was informed that they did not know if it would be available for the rental. I was then informed by email that it was a recall for a back-up camera that may intermittently stop working. The day before the reservation date they finally informed me they would not be able to honor the reservation. I have to say that their customer service is non-existant as the baranch manager was supposed to keep me informed but would not call. We had to iniate all calls but he was never available to talk. I even called the main Enterprise customer service line and was informed that someone would call me back. I am still waiting as of the writing of this review. Beware your reservation may not be honored and they just don't seem to care to try and find a solution. Now we are scurrying around trying to find our own solution to transportation for a family vacation. read more

Another bonus...they will give you a complimentary ride to or from the site as long as you are within Mooresville limits. So 11/10/22 we called Enterprise and booked a vehicle for 11/15 @3:30 for a insurance claim repair. When I got there a young Asst Blake said they did not have the vehicle I wanted so I was going to get a different car but now the rate went form the agreed insurance claim price of $31 to $97. I asked can I just rent it for the day until I can clear up the rate. Then the guy said he had no cars and now and I had no vehicle and had to Uber home. I told him now I could not go to work, which was not true. I think he was happy to make someone miserable. The next day me and the insurance company got a rental deal with the correct price and Enterprise would call me the next day by 3:30 or definitely by the next day Friday. I called Friday after noon and was told by the same person they had no cars until next Wednesday. I asked for the manager which he stated as before that the manager was not there. I called back and got a different person and gave them my reservation number... there was a long hold and then the MANAGER Tyler answered the phone and said the young Asst Blake said I was rude and Enterprise would not do business. Obliviously Blake was lying about the vehicles just to put people in grief. If he had an issue with rudeness he would have just told me to leave instead of come back in a few days. I also asked what was rude and Tyler had no details which is also poor customer service on his part. I went to the Enterprise truck side and got a vehicle very close to the insurance quote without an issue. The only rude people here were the staff that lies and likes to aggravate people. While I was there I heard people talking about sticky cars and the gas was not full. One poor guy brought his car in a day early and the same guy still charged for 3 days when he only had it 2 days. Just thinking about this that guy who just dropped of a vehicle but I guess that doesn't count as available to an angry employee???? read more

I am extremely disappointed in not only this location but the entire company. When calling on the phone and reserving a car you are given false information and then completely different information when you arrive at location. This has happened on 3 separate occasions by 3 separate employees and they all have the same extremely frustrating response.. "I'm sorry mam this is company policy" .... Well, from my experience if something is company policy shouldn't every employee have the same information? In my opinion they talk up a great game over the phone and then can't deliver in person. By far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I asked for the additional insurance for the 3 days that I was to pay out of pocket before my insurance assumed the coverage. I was then billed for 53 days of additional insurance (over $800) and then told that the mistake would be corrected only to find out later I had been billed for the full amount. Upon contacting management they proceeded to only offer to take off 50% and stick me with the rest of the bill and to take it or leave it because they had a misunderstanding with my insurance company that had already cost them on their end. I am now stuck with paying for weeks worth of insurance that I did not want or need because of employee mistakes and poor management that does not stick by their word. read more
