My first reason for this is the location; situated in Cockerton village makes Hays easy to access and you can always grab a parking space in the car park across the road behind Somerfield. Secondly the staff are extremely helpful here and are always very patient with me! Last time I booked a holiday through them I changed my dates, duration and choice of hotel on several occasions and the girl dealing me remained helpful when I would have wanted to strangle me! As someone who likes to research places on the internet and compare prices I have always been impressed when Hays have worked hard to be competitive.

They do a wide selection of rucksacks, boots, clothing and accessories. The brands tend to be better than some of the more well known outdoor shops, and some can be expensive but there are regular offers you can drop onto. Customer service is excellent in the shop and the owners are always really friendly. Products we've bought from here have been very reliable and comfortable, and I'll certainly pop back in for more warm walking tops!

The shop has an area for currency exchange and always offer great rates of exchange. The store has a large shelving unit along one way with a huge range of holiday brochures which are free to take and browse through. Along the other wall is a long cashier style table area which is split into little sections for each different travel agent. The staff are extremely helpful and are happy to give you a lot of attention and advice.
