Reservation's mean absolutely nothing! 2 time I drove to pickup my car and they tell me they have no cars, Why take reservations then! I have used this office several times over the years and only every been treated with respect. This last experience was severa days ago. I picked up a one way rental from Palatka to Atlanta. They didn't have the SUV I reserved so gave me an awesome upgrade at no cost. My drop off in Atlanta was horrid. I was pressured and made to feel like I was on trial by the Atlanta office. In the end the Atlanta office forced me into an unfair second day and logged a false damage claim against me. I found out via email. I called the Palatka office, and Alex was amazing. Before I said a word, he'd already made the rental charges right. He showed me empathy for the horrible treatment in Atlanta, and shared my story with corporate. No matter what corporate does, this office has my absolute respect and appreciation. read more

I'm an emerald member, and booked a car to pickup last night 7/6/22. I spoke to agent in Palatka and asked him if he could pick me up at tire shop, and bring me to get my car. He agreed. My tow truck ran late, and I called the same employee and told him I would pick the car up when they open. I just called, and all of a sudden the car I was supposed to be getting before they closed last night had vanished, and now they can't tell me when I may get a car. Worst case = horrible liars. Best case - they don't care nor have empathy for Customers. I'm guessing Enterprise is the only rental car company in Palatka, and they know you don't have options. B E W A R E read more

Dishonest and scam artist is how I would describe this business. I have rented many cars and most of the time it has been from Enterprise. In the future I will seek another company or at least NEVER use the establishment in Palatal, FL. I needed to rent a truck to assist with moving bags of clothes and light furniture. The truck they gave me was a Dodge Ram. I am an experience driver and EVOC certified. I was the only driver of the truck and I placed all items in the truck by myself. The salesperson looked over the truck with me, before I rented it. She explained about size of scratches. The truck was parked between two other trucks and it was backed into a spot. I saw no damage and the truck was clean. She initially was showing me a different truck that was dirty, but she then realized she was showing me the wrong truck, no problem. I refused the insurance as she offered it about three times. I drove approximately 10 -15 miles and upon returning I didn't need to add fuel. I only had the truck for 2 - 3 hours. I drove to an apartment building then to a house about 2 miles away back to the apartment, then to the house and back to Enterprise to return the truck. At the apartment I backed into a parking spot, there was nothing behind me that I could of hit and at the house I also backed in and used a spotter just to be extra careful, because I would be responsible for any damage. Well upon returning to Enterprise the lady who rented me the truck was not there. The employee that received the truck was a man, I believe his name was Alex. He sent another worker to check the miles and fuel level. The worker came back with the information written on a paper. I had parked the truck in front of the area where they wash the vehicles. Alex went outside with another customer and when he came back, he asked me what happened to that big dent on the bumper. He said he has to write it up, because now he has a truck that needs it's bumper replaced. I told him I did not created that dent. Its impossible for it to have happened in my possession. The truck was never left unattended. I went out to look at the truck and at first I still didn't see a dent. I had to get eye level with the bumper and touch it to verify it was a dent. I believe they knew the truck was damaged, but they missed it when someone else brought it back with a dent. Whoever washed the truck would have notice the damage. Being that they missed the dent and didn't know who did it, they would have to eat the cost to repair it. Alex called the lady and asked her if she noticed the damage, guess what she said... No. These people at the Enterprise in Palatka, FL have no integrity. They should all be fired. Everyone makes a mistake, it is was you do afterwards that matters. I guess he figured since I am not a local it would be easy to pawn the issue off to me. Now the burden off proof will be on me, now I have to go through a dispute process. Stay away from Palatka, FL Enterprise Car Rental. They knew it was a slim chance of me seeing a dent in a Chrome bumper, that is in the rear on the driverside, of a truck parked between other vehicles and backed in to a parking spot. read more

Pulled up 10 minutes before closing on the Saturday after Thanksgiving (personal car had trouble) and we had to get to Gainesville that day. They welcomed us in, took some extra time to make sure we had the best deal and got us on the road within 15 minutes. Our car got fixed 2 doors down at Goodyear (also A+ service) and we returned the rental early. There was no problem reducing the charge. The car smelled a tiny bit of smoke, but otherwise a fantastic experience!!! read more

My wife and I rented a car from here. We usually reserve online through Travelocity. Well once we got here we were told we would have to put a 200.00 deposit. We had no choice as we were already there and had to leave for the trip. That was the last time. Not only did you lose our business, but also the business of our business. Staff was friendly and car was fine. Just your stupid requirements cost you a customer both personal and business. BTW we rent a lot of cars and trucks. read more
