I've been to 10 locations from gulf shores al all the way to Oklahoma.to try and swap a car out every single One of them no vehicles.... but the lots were full. I rated a 1 star for the ENTERPRISE in PARIS TEXAS. The other ENTERPRISES I've used in the past , were strongly polite. The one in Paris will try to scheme you if you don't pay attention. GO TO GREENVILLE, TX. You will walk out a happy customer. The one here in Paris Texas, you'll probably walk out pissed, and feeling robbed. To make the one in Paris , Texas better, get new employees, that actually has more respect and doesn't treat their customers like they are just a paycheck.. We didn't choose Enterprise because of their strong Yelp! Reviews, we chose them because they are the only ones in Paris. I see others are saying that the local folks are blaming the corporate reservations for mistakes. Not the case for us. We almost rented through Orbitz, but decided to call direct. Nobody to blame, they rented us the car when they didn't have one. We drove almost an hour to their location only to hear the guy say, we did everything we could and I was about to call you. Pathetic. We had only called about 2 hours earlier to rent it and there is NO EXCUSE to treat customers this way. A customer standing there told us that Toyota (next door) rented cars. We got a car at Toyota with no reservation and no wait time. Don't waste your time with Enterprise, they don't care about people, and if you've ever read any of my reviews, you know that customer service should be first priority... vote with your dollars... at Toyota in Paris, NOT Enterprise. read more

The guy with the red hair is hands down one of the most disrespectful people I have ever met in my life. My husband went to rent a car, he wasn't allowed without a major credit card since he was out of state so the other traveler tried to rent the car with his credit card and he wasn't allowed because he "might" let my husband drive. We rode 2,000 miles on a grayhound to visit my husbands dying father and he has no way to drive to the hospital to visit him. We tried to report him because he was downright rude about it and he refused to give us the name of his supervisor. He was rude to other customers while we were there too. Definately explains why most people visit the other place in town, unfortunately they are so popular they were out of vehicles. We will be reporting this location to corporate. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE THEY WILL SCHEME YOU OUT OF MONEY!!!! I rented and no damage was found. When I returned the rude unprofessional black woman with the horrible attitude and mouth found 'damage' on my mirror. It was so small it was obviously missed when I got the car. It was impossible as there were not scuff marks or anything around it. It was a crack that was less than 1/4". I took photo. they charged me 1500Euros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then she LIED and said I refused to sign the damage report. She didn't even tell me she was filling one out! LIAR!!!!!!! Then she submitted a photo of the 'damage' that was different (literally) than my photo Her photo she had BROKEN OFF THE PLASTIC! So how am I paying for damage that this liar had manipulated. THERE WILL BE NO CAR THERE WHEN YOU ARRIVE THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE I reserved online through Travelocity for a summer vacation to say it didn't get off to a good start would be an understatement. Enterprise would never answer the phone, or the line just wouldn't work , weeks before when I just wanted to check. On the day of the rental I spoke to several people, and not one was better than the rest; other than having no idea what was going on, so I won't slander one person. My husband arrived at the Paris location to pick up the luxury suv at 10:30am on a Monday. The rental was not there and we drove an 1hr and 30 min to pick it up. There excuse was the rental was not back yet and they had tried to call me but there was no phone number listed on the rental, which I am sure Travelocity requires on reservation. However; he said that they were due back about an hour ago and we could wait or take a smaller one. We were going on a long trip and needed the extra space. He told my family to go to lunch and see if it comes back, I know what you are thinking that smaller car was ours when we came back if the one we ordered was still not there. I call an hour later and that guy was gone to lunch and no one had any idea what was going on. That no Luxury SUVs were due back that day. My husband arrived back at the lot and that one "smaller" SUV was gone and all that was available was a mini van. I from a very intense personal experience do not think they actually have any of the cars listed on their available at this location site. I think they do this all the time. I tried to book the same vehicle online an hour later and is was still available. ( yet still not returned). Also they didn't seem even a little bit stressed meaning this must happen all of the time. I called the other car rental place in town and we were on our way for a summer vacation in a 12 passenger van. read more

Hands down the worst car rental facility I have ever visited in my entire life. I live in Dallas and stopped in Paris TX to drop my Jeep off at the local four-wheel-drive shop to have some work done and had to go to Texarkana for a meeting from there, thus I needed to rent a car. I reserved my car for $50 the night before online with a scheduled pick-up time of 11 AM. I arrived at 10 am an hour early to be greeted (if you want to call it that) by Cindy (Employee number F896P3) who gave me a blank stare and asked me if she could help. I told her I was there to pick up my car and she told me it would not be ready for another hour. I told her my situation and explained that I had a meeting at noon in Texarkana that I had to be at and asked if there was anything else available (bigger, smaller, more expensive, didn't matter). I needed to get to my meeting. She roller her eyes and with a blank stare started looking in the computer. I truthfully felt like my renting a car from this location was a burden to the business. I am in the customer service business and Cindy was by far one of the rudest reps I have ever encountered at a brick-and-mortar business in years. After Cindy finally found me a car (for double the price of my original reservation, which I didn't complain about), she walks me out to it and we walk around and mark the damage. There was none visible. Then she told me "You're going to be really mad at me...The car has no gas in it." I was pissed, but she gave me the option to drop the car off empty in lieu of waiting for them to go fill it up and I agreed. I declined coverage and sent a copy of my insurance over immediately. I walked back out to the car and got in and it smelt horribly of cigarette smoke. I walked back inside as I did not want to be liable for the scent and mentioned it to Cindy and walked back out. I went on my journey and returned the car 180 miles and 6 hours later. They checked the vehicle in. No damage. They signed off and I left. The next day I got a voicemail from Cindy at Enterprise and didn't think anything of it. She did not mention one thing about a damage claim or an issue with my rental. Just for me to call her. I didn't. Today I got a letter in the mail from the claims department about a claim they made on the car. The letter has ZERO information about what they are claiming in regards to the damage. I honestly feel that this location is a scam. Between the way I was treated and the look they gave me when I declined their insurance coverage, I should have known better. Anyways, I know there are not many car rental facilities in Paris, TX. But if you can avoid this one, DO! Stay away from Cindy (employee and EAN Holdings LLC (the franchisee/ owner) who apparently cares very little about being on site to monitor their employees and the experiences being had in their business. read more

I also have done business with this Enterprise office, and my experiences have been good. They have always shown up promptly with a vehicle and Cindy has been very professional in her dealings with me. Even though there have been some problems with cars left at the local airport without giving a dropoff notice to the office, once I showed them I would inform them promptly they have trusted me to drop the car after hours, an important feature for myself. My employers and I continue to do business here and I feel confident that Cindy and her staff will continue to provide good service. read more
