We had THE BEST TIME and even trapezed!. We hoped to take another trip this summer /fall . Angela worked tireless to find us deals to interesting places (that avoided USA ) . While she came up with some wonderful trips and deals... the damage from winter snowloads and spring ice storms have needed us to put our plans on hold for a while. There are rooms on the ground floor and in a two story building. Luckily, during both of our stays we were able to get a room in the building. During our last stay the owner even asked us if we prefer the first or second floor. The room had what we needed for a quick overnight stay (fridge, coffee maker, etc.). We were greeted warmly and welcomed each time and we would gladly return again!

This place really reminds you of the way things used to be about reserving a hotel or motel--in a…read moregood way. It is one of the very few places that lets you pay for a room with cash, while most other places require a credit card. Though our particular room was tiny, it seemed that they do a lot with the small space you get, as you get a mini fridge, a microwave, and a good selection of satellite channels. As well, it appears to be one of the lowest priced if not the lowest priced motel in Peterborough, and we were lucky that there was a room available, even though we went in the shoulder season, just after school-age students had gone back to school. It is rather minimalist in the food and drink offerings (no vending machines for food and drink), but for I and my husband, we tend to bring our own food and drink, so it was not that critical for us.
