The gentleman who took my reservation lied about everything except the time I would return the vehicle. He quoted me the wrong price and when I mentioned his lack of remorse for all that went wrong such as being lied to about the vehicle, being lied to about the price, and being lied to about the pick up time, he called me hostile. Refused to give his name, and hung up in my face right after telling me to go to another company. I went to another company. Lucky for me he forgot to cancel the reservation so I put in a complaint about his service. I will never use that store again. read more

The car rental agency told me that if I turned the car in on the night before my rental was due, I would be billed for one fewer day, then welched on the deal and claimed that they didn't do partial refunds including partial day refunds as they had previously claimed. I went through a lot of trouble to get the car in, including $50 in gas when the tank wasn't even full when it was given to me. I would not have returned the car early if I knew they would be billing me $100 extra otherwise. read more

Too bad there's not a 0 or even a -0. The kid behind the counter was unbelievably rude and obviously on a power trip. My car was supposed to have been rented through my insurance company but this location put in the wrong date and I was left with nothing. Without going into detail, this experience was actually traumatizing. I attempted to call the regional manager and did leave several messages but I suppose that individual didn't care either. Customer service is lacking. Employee did not explain to a first time renter what she was initialing. She explained that she had car insurance but that she did not have her card with her. The employee told her to go ahead and initial. She did. When she returned the rental car, she was told she owed over 500 for their insurance. When she told a different employee that was never explained to her, the employee said he could take off half. The rental was needed because she had been rear ended. State Farm set up the rental with Enterprise. State Farm has said there is nothing they can do and Enterprise had said account is now closed and cannot be reopened. Enterprise needs to have their employees improve their communication skills because what happened in this incident looks shady and downright sketchy. Anything to make money read more

Initial experience went mostly well. I was in a significant accident which resulted in USAA declaring a total loss for my vehicle. My insurance had rental coverage up to $900 and I requested a standard vehicle from USAA. USAA coordinated with This location to pick up a vehicle. A standard was not available so they upgraded to the next level. It should be noted that they DID NOT honor the original price request and charged the full price for the upgrade. I found this to be poor customer service but did not make a huge deal of it. I did inquire and was only told I could return and replace the car at a later date (very inconvenient) Unfortunately there was a paperwork issue that has caused a delay in receiving my settlement money which is needed before we will purchase a new car as we intend to pay mostly cash. The car was due back because the $900 was up 3 days ago. I called once to coordinate and tried stopping by once but they were very busy. Remember the increased cost as had I received the standard I wanted I would still have time on the car. About 30 minutes ago my wife came running downstair to inform me the rental was being towed. We still had personal things in the car. I missed a call from the company and instead of knocking on our door or treating us like, I dunno, human beings. They rolled up on us like a bunch of deadbeats at 8:30pm in the night and were whisking away with the car like a bunch of REPOS. Unprofessional. Embarrassing in front of our neighbors. And easily resolvable with more attempts at communication on our part. The card was decline apparently when they tried to charge it. There was a fraud block on the card (I just discovered)...probably one THEY did something to create. This was a problem EASILY resolved with more efforts at communication. I looked at my phone and saw two attempts at a missed called. They claimed more but I don't see it. I don't care what their company 'procedures' say. This was a ridiculous. Any manager with a lick of common sense would understood this was a simple communication issue not us trying to run off with the car. And they KNEW were are receiving a lump sum check so worries about getting paid should have been minimal. Avoid this business until management is replaced. read more

I had a very pleasant experience at this specific car rental location. Leslie was the customer service agent that helped me out. His customer service was superior. I've dealt with many car rental companies and this by far has been the best. If I ever need another car rental I will be returning to this spot. read more

Unfortunately, my 2016 Nissan Altima was hit. I opted to go with Enterprise as the car rental company. I had a 9:30am reservation on 6/29/20 as agreed they would bring me a rental. The rental car person didn't show up until 10:00am and showed up in a mid size DIRTY car . I told him I had a 9:30am reservation he stated "you should be grateful you only had to wait 30 mins and not an hour." I called the Williamson Rd location and spoke with Rhett( manager) and he agreed to speak with upper management. As of today, I have not received a return call from a manager apologizing or offering any kind of resolution to make things right! Do not rent a car from this company.!!! read more

Cars here are EXPENSIVE to rent. I have been renting with enterprise for more than a decade but this location undoubtedly is one of the most expensive lot. Staff was indifferent barring one or two friendly people who were willing to help. They were difficult to reach on phone in-spite of multiple attempts. They refused to pick me up as against what's promised by corporate ads. Manager here pretended to be concerned for your needs but she didn't care in reality. She was ready to lose them as a customer rather than work with them. Given a choice, I would surely avoid this place. read more

I reserved a car at the Roanoke Airport. They didn't have any when I arrived (What's the purpose of a reservation?). Then told me I could get a car at their nearby location the following day. Came to pick up a car the following day and they said it would be an additional $50 charge to drop it off at the airport. They were not willing to waive that for their own mistake. they Can careless about helping when they have made the mistake. I told them to cancel the car. read more

I started off my day by calling the Electric Rd branch, where an attendant told me they were short on cars, but would call me if any became available. I then called the Williamson Rd branch that told me they didn't have any cars at the moment, but would get some in that evening. I was told, "Come at 4:00. If we get anything earlier, we'll call you." I asked a coworker to take me there at 4:00, and was told, "I'm sorry, we don't have any cars, but we should have one any minute now. I'll call you." I asked, "What time do you close?" He said, "6 o'clock. We'll get you set up today; I swear. We'll call you." I said okay and had my coworker take me back to work. At 5:45, I hadn't received a call, so I called them. They said, "I apologize, but we don't have any cars. Try the airport." The people were very courteous - I have no issue with that. My problem is that I ended up stranded at work because everyone had left by the time I finally found out I wasn't getting a car or getting picked up by Enterprise, so I spent 30 minutes calling everyone I knew, begging for a ride. If you're short on cars, that's understandable - there's nothing you can do. However, don't promise someone that "you'll get a car any minute" when you can't guarantee it. Under-promise and over-deliver - not the other way around. That's how people get stranded at work. My advice to anyone calling Enterprise - if they say they're short on cars, but they'll take your information and call you because we'll-totally-have-a-car-later-no-doubt-pinky-promise, hit that red End button on your phone and call Avis. read more
