What I didn't know is that Caliper Collision had bought them out. No big deal, it's a preferred repair shop for my insurance company, so I'm sure it will be fine. Boy, was I wrong. My car was damaged on 8/4/21. L&M Towing in Vermilion came to get it that day and it was towed to Caliper in Monroeville that afternoon. All of the photos from the scene were sent to my insurance and I discussed in detail with the collision shop as to what damage was done. Payment was issued on 8/6/21 and repairs started to happen. It took longer than usual to get the windshield as it had to be OEM and I understood that because everything is taking some time with COVID. On 8/19/21 my car was finally completed and my husband went to pick it up. Not only had they not done the repair to the damage on the roof of the car, they had over sprayed my bumper and windows. The roof was pointed out and we had a picture from the accident scene yet they just didn't do it? Completely unacceptable. He was told that they would get it fixed and that it would be ready for pick up again soon. On 8/23/21 I was called and told that the overspray was taken care of and that the roof had been repaired. Again my husband went to pick it up. This time the paint was beautiful but the interior of the car still has glass pieces in it and there were black greasy handprint on the tan headliner and sun visor. He was told they would get it cleaned up, again, and it would be ready in the morning. I went to day, 8/24/21 to attempt to pick the car up again. The body work is perfect and the interior is clean but they decided to put my EZ pass and dash cam back on the windshield. This would be fine if they had put them where they belonged but they just put them wherever they wanted to put them. The EZ pass is not up and behind the mirror as I had it but in my line of vision. The dash cam placement now catches the block box behind the rearview mirror so I won't have a clear view of the road on camera. Yes, these can be moved but they should have never been put back on without being crystal clear as to where they went. I shouldn't have to scrape them off of a brand new windshield and remove the glue and place them again. The lady in the office offered to have them fix it but I didn't have the time or patience to wait any longer for my vehicle. Overall I am frustrated and exhausted with this experience. Work that was done was done lazily and some work was just skipped, and although all issues were fixed, it should have never happened like this. The EZ pass and dash cam are frankly not a big deal, but after dealing with issues for almost 3 weeks I am a little more than annoyed that I have to take the time to remove them, clean the windshield, and put them where they belong. I most definitely would not recommend this repair shop to anyone.

We departed promptly at 9:00 AM from Sandusky's Jackson Street Pier, gliding past Cedar Point -- America's Rock 'n' Roller Coast -- with Captain John giving us the inside scoop on local landmarks, fascinating island history, and even tales of Lonz Winery. His commentary made us look like seasoned pros when recommending spots to eat and explore. Stop 1 - Kelleys Island Arriving around 10:30 AM, we made our way to the lively Caddy Shack Square. While the Caddy Shack restaurant wasn't quite open yet, the Kelleys Island Coffee Company came to the rescue with fresh fruit and perfectly brewed coffee. Across the way, the Sand Trap treated us to icy drinks in a relaxing, freshly groomed sand setting. We browsed the charming local shops, picking up postcards and keepsakes before heading back to the boat. Stop 2 - South Bass Island (Put-in-Bay) After an 11:30 AM boarding and scenic noon departure, we arrived at South Bass Island ready for lunch. The Keys transported us straight into a Jimmy Buffett album cover -- tropical vibes, tasty sandwiches, and cold beverages made for a perfect mid-day feast. Our stroll around PIB included a stop at the legendary Beer Barrel Saloon, home of the World's Longest Bar. We then indulged in an afternoon coffee from Noddi's Java, expertly crafted by a one-woman dynamo in a cozy little shop -- rich, flavorful, and satisfying to the last drop. The Return Voyage At 4:00 PM, we boarded for our return trip, and by 4:30 PM the gangplank was up. Back in Sandusky, we were greeted by the Tommy Boy Festival. While it was fun to browse, the boat trip had set the day's gold standard for excitement. Accessibility & Service A special note -- the Goodtime I is fully ADA accessible. My dad uses a wheelchair, and boarding was smooth and stress-free thanks to the attentive and helpful crew. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure comfort and safety. The Verdict The Goodtime I isn't just transportation -- it's an experience. Fair prices, easy booking through their website, professional service, and a crew that treats you like family make this a can't-miss Lake Erie adventure. How would you know that? There were NO signs pertaining to this. It was a driveway made for 6 cars! First impressions are very important and this place wasn't warm, inviting or friendly. The price for a family suit on a Wednesday with 4 passes to the water park is very reasonable. Upon arrival check in was simple and went pretty quickly. You are allowed to start your fun before the room is ready, which is good because the waterpark closes at 8 and opens at 10 am. You can also continue to play after check out. We found this very nice because you wouldn't get much time to play if not. Our room was ready early but our bands didn't open our room so they gave us new ones. The girls working were friendly and helped us sort it out quickly. We were disappointed to find hair in both of our beds. We called and requested fresh bedding because we wanted to get playing. They never came but they did give us a new room, also with hair on the sheets. Our cleaning person came in and we watched her replace the pillowcases with clean right off the cart and guess what? Still hair! This is a laundry issue but we were relieved to know it wasn't because our beds were dirty. This was our only negative issue. Our room was clean and spacious. The pull out sofa wasn't the most comfy but we were so wore out we slept well. The Waterpark wasn't very crowded and it was very fun for our boys! My grandson said he felt like a VIP and they will both remember this fun time. The workers keep a very good eye on things. We felt safe. There's a Dunkin Donuts in the lobby and you can order on an app which I recommend because I ordered at the kiosk and waited 30 mins for 2 coffees. ($9) I would recommend ordering ahead and pick it up when you get a text to save waiting too long. We brought in snacks and drinks to our room. We had a fridge but no microwave. Overall we all agree it was a great time and we will return. The kids loved everything and they said their review is "great"!

The kiosk check in process was a breeze, and I LOVE that water park wristbands double as room keys because it's one less thing to worry about losing. The onsite Dunkin offered good food at reasonable prices. The drinks were really good and felt like they justified their price because they were huge. The hotel rooms were very nice. The arcade was nice, and provided a good variety of games. The bad: Paying for parking is a huge turn-off. It's $20 per day just to park in an ordinary parking lot, which seems like an excessive charge that the resort knows it can get away with because people have to park. Strategies like that feel like they're trying to squeeze every nickel and dime out of patrons. The water park, itself, isn't great. There's two nice-sized tube slides and some very short body slides. The lazy river is also very short and filled with empty tubes in a way that feels claustrophobic. The hot tubs are nice. But it just doesn't feel like there's anything particularly exciting to do. Once you've been down the slides a few times and checked out the hot tubs, that's mostly it unless you're a little kid (there's a few activities that are geared for young kids). Overall: If you want a good resort experience, you can get it here. If you want a good water park experience, you've got much better options nearby.
