Zero Stars. Absolutely Unacceptable Customer Service. After being hospitalized for 3 days due to a medical emergency, I arrived at this Enterprise location in a wheelchair, freshly discharged from the hospital, exhausted and trying to make it to our hotel before checkout. My husband and I had reserved and checked in for our vehicle hours earlier, and George personally confirmed that a car would be ready for us. Instead, we sat in the lobby for nearly an hour only to be told our reserved vehicle had been given away. While I sat there visibly weak and recovering, the staff showed little urgency, empathy, or professionalism. George refused to get the manager when requested, and when the manager finally came out, the response was simply, "We're only human, we made a mistake." Mistakes happen. What's unacceptable is the dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and complete disregard for a customer clearly coming straight from the hospital. Had the pleasure of dealing with the most incompetent and under qualified Branch Manager on the planet here, Jonathan Loria. The guy is so under qualified and lazy he can't even be bothered to reach out to customers to let them know that they don't have inventory after a booking has come through hours or days prior. He was beyond rude and tried to deflect the situation onto the customer and normalize his laziness. Zero accountability. I escalated the situation and spoke to his regional manager who assured me he should have called me immediately to let me know and that he wasn't doing his job. My elderly father (89 years) who always rents from this location in sunny isles went in today and the branch manager Jonathan Loria quoted my dad $20 per day more than usual. When he told Him he can look at his past records - Jonathan didn't care. Being a senior and needing the car my dad said he would Take it for one day since his rate went up and Jonathan had the nerve to say he was not renting a car to him and denied him a service. Our recent experience with Enterprise was frustrating and extremely unprofessional. Our terrible experience started when checking in at the front counter at the Miami Airport. The lady who checked us was rude. She did not say much to us and expected us to know the information needed to check in. Her shortness and overall demeaner was unprofessional.   Next, we go down the elevator to pick up our vehicle. My wife and I were told that it would be 20 minutes for our vehicle to cleaned and ready, but we waited for about 40 minutes. While waiting we spoke with another couple who had been there for 2 and a half hours. Enterprise should not be overbooking vehicles as it should never take this long to pick up a car.   A few hours later we noticed that the front and back windows of our Convertible Mustang did not close completely. There was about an inch gap between the front and rear windows. We spoke with a lady over the phone with Enterprise who troubleshooted the problem with us. She was not able to resolve the issue so let us know that we could swap out our Mustang for another.   The next day, I called Enterprise to speak with Junior. He told us that a Convertible Mustang would be ready for pickup at 1:30pm at the Sunny Isles location. He assured me that it would be ready to go at 1:30pm. My wife and I arrived at 1:40pm and went inside the store. We were met with an extremely rude associate, named John. We politely explained the situation, but his response was very sarcastic and unprofessional. John asked us who we spoke to and we told him Junior. He then asked the associate (believe his name was David?) next to him what his name was in a sarcastic tone. Instead of apologizing that we got the run-around, he sarcastically said that he needs Mustangs and would be happy to take it in exchange for a Mini-Van.   At this point we were fed up with Enterprise's unprofessionalism and having received the run-around. We decided to keep the broken Mustang since we waisted hours on our vacation trying to resolve this issue. My wife and I will never rent another vehicle from Enterprise again and will make sure everyone knows about the awful experience we had. read more

This location is a fantastic location it's open on Sundays as well. The reason why I wrote this report if I had such a horrible experience at the airport location and when I came to this location which was near the hotel the manager name JONATHAN LORIA was beyond exceptional in customer service he truly wanted to make it up for the bad experience I had at a different location even though I had nothing to do with him this is exactly what Enterprise is about - CUSTOMER SERVICE and Jonathan truly exemplified that service of Enterprise which I did not experience at the airport also my car was spotlessly clean and even came with extra sanitizer wipes to make us feel comfortable during this crazy time More power to you mr. The reviews written below are an accurate account of this Enterprise location and interaction with the Assistant Branch Manager, Zachary Skinner. I was just in a 5 car pile up on the interstate and had a claim/reservation booked with this Enterprise location. I called yesterday to confirm availability and was told there was plenty of cars available. My insurance company, State Farm was aware that the police had accidentally kept my license and did not raise a concern. I am a diamond member with Enterprise/National and my license is in corporate's computer system. In addition, I have a photo copy of my license along with my physical passport and email from the DMV (granted expired by 1 week) from a temporary replacement from two months ago. Unfortunately, the Assistant Branch Manager was unable to help or assist in anyway. I understand it is corporate policy to have a physical copy of the license to rent a car (or an email with a temporary license). All I was asking for was a little empathy and willingness to assist; decent customer service. For someone who is a branch manager, you would think they were trained on how to handle difficult situations and show empathy even if the end result was unfavorable for the customer. Worst service. We went in because our current rental had a safety issue and so we could not drive it. The employee told us to take the car back to the airport through the highway to exchange it. We said we had a safety issue and the employee agreed that the act has a safety issue but continued to stress that we should drive it to the other location and risk our lives. We called enterprise Road side assistance who then called the same office and asked them to give us a car. They reluctantly gave us a car but locked us out of the car we had and would not let us get our stuff from the old car. We called the police who helped us get our stuff from the car. Why? I was recently in an accident. Working through the auto insurance company, they wanted to get me a rental car. On Thursday (10/31) around 1:30PM, we called Sunny Isles Enterprise to rent a car (after the insurance company had already sent the rental information to the Sunny Isles branch). Within the call, the insurance company found a closer branch at Aventura. We kindly requested the Sunny Isles female associate to send the information to the Aventura branch. With a negative attitude, she said "fine" and hungup. 2 hours later, I Ubered to the Aventura Enterprise and the assocaite showed me the Sunny Isles female associate did no such thing. Because they were not ready, no vehicle was available. This necessitated me to Uber back home and have to return the next day (wasting a couple hours of my time and the cost of Uber). Judging from the low ratings of this Enterprise branch, I can't imagine this branch being popular with customers lol They don't care, have a bad attitude, and can't do the basics. If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Normally a Hertz customer and will keep it that way. Rented a car on line and received an e-mail confirmation. Took an Uber to the location and was told in a sheepish voice that they don't have a car and they don't honor the confirmation and I could go to the airport if I wanted one. The car was returned on Sunday, 2/25/2018. We spoke with Luis Solorzano, Branch Manager. We explained our disappointment in the vehicle provided by Enterprise and mentioned that we have written to Costco Travel. He offered us a credit of $64.91 on our rental, plus an up grade and half tank gas credit if we rented from a local Enterprise branch. He suggested that the vehicle we rented was from the North Miami Beach Branch, and clientele from there were abusive to the cars and sometimes may be living in them. What a consolation that was! The vehicle was high mileage with about 41000 miles of abuse on it. The upholstery was heavily stained in places. The dashboard was not clean, and in fact the speedometer was coated with a white viscous substance that might have been remnants of a milkshake or perhaps worse. There were dirty tissues left in the car. There were crumbs in the creases of the car. The car did not drive well and had front end issues. Enterprise should be ashamed of itself renting out a car like that. I was amazed that they would rent out a car with slightly more than 25% of the fuel tank filled, and surprised that they refused to supply a written copy of the rental agreement. They said it was because they were saving paper. I guess its better for the customer have to print it out themselves, and use their own paper. In fact Luis suggested that if these vehicles did not meet the standards we expect from Enterprise, then we should only rent at the airport, because they have newer, cleaner cars, that come with a full tank of fuel. The cars they rent at neighborhood locations are cars that have been rotated from the airport due to age and condition. Additionally the car rental process took 45 minutes and the return took about 35 minutes to complete. Very understaffed I had also contacted Enterprise Corporate by phone on 2/16 and they said I would be hearing from them. Thus far they have not had the courtesy to respond. In addition, we complained directly to Costco, we were informed that they would not do any more as a remedy to my unacceptable experience. I am very disappointed with the experience that was provided to me through Costco Travel and Enterprise. As a retired person, I rent fairly frequently through Costco. This was in fact my second Costco Rental within 10 days. I expect better from Enterprise, after all I did not use Rent A Wreck. The amount of compensation offered was an insult. I hope that Enterprise cleans up their act. This was a disaster. I hope you can further help in rectifying this unfortunate experience. read more

My experience withEnterprise Sunny Isles was a total nightmare. I reserved a car, received an email confirmation that all was set. After ubering for 20 minutes, and reached the location at 16850 Collins Avenue. I was told they had no car. The Assistant Manager, Zachary Skinner looked me straight in the eye and lied to me. Saying that they called me and left a message. Shocked at the response. I check all calls on my call log and voicemail. To find no such call was made . I reprimanded Mr. Skinner as i was upset, shocked. And no car He told me i had to leave . I begged him. He said no. I will not assist you. Because i was excited. For good reason . Spending money on ubering back and forth. No car. I started to cry. And told Mr. Skinner i was sorry. I was so upset. He looked like he was enjoying his making me squirm. He was so nasty. Result. No car from the location of Enterprise where Mr. Skinner Is located. I took uber home . The Concierge where I live. Williams Island was so nice and helpful. They Got in touch with a different location. And within 4 hours got a car. The gentleman who helped me at Enterprise in Miami Gardens. On Ives Dairy Road Was just that a pure gentleman I think his name was Bryce I couldnt thank him enough. So if anyone is looking to use enterprise car rental. Do not.go To the Sunny Isle location. After being referred to this company by an ex branch manager I had to experience the worst car rental experience in my life. 1. they did not call me in advance to tell me they dont have my car after I rode 30 mins to this station to pick up the car i reserved to this station. Very bad customer service. The branch opens at 8 am and there was ample time to save me the struggle 2. I was told they need a day to bring in the car and cant help me. Told me renting the vehicle via online at 11 pm the night before can lead to this. So it was my fault it seemed haha. 3. they offered me a car for 100 dollar for the day. Then realised it was reserved. 4. they then told me it could take an hour to retrieve one but did not tell me that they might not get one afterall. Guess what happened next: Thy had no car and were not trying to help further. I agree with the awful reviews from the customers that have rented from Enterprise Sunny Isles. The service provided is disappointing and unheard of. They give you the cars when they're not ready to be provided to the customer. Our car was dirty, had sand everywhere and they were going to give that to us. I asked if they could clean it and after waiting it was half washed. The light of the oil change was on as it was at 14%. When I asked the customer service representative she said that it would go away after driving. Since the light didn't turn off, we came back to get another car, which was also not clean. I will never rent a car from Enterprise, the service it's just awful and they don't care about the customer, they just do the bare minimum. Really disappointing. read more

Because Easter gets crazy in Miami Beach, reserved our rental van far in advance for noon on the Thursday before Easter at the Sunny Isles location. I was told our van had been returned to the airport instead, but they were beating the bushes to find us another and would call. Didn't hear from them, so called back that night. Said they were still looking. Next morning, Bad Friday, still no van. I borrowed a sedan from friend there but had to ferry our party of seven around. Kept waiting to hear from Enterprise, but nothing. Easter Sunday, still awaiting a miracle, but no call. Monday, we flew back to Los Angeles. I fully expect they will call me Wednesday saying they've got the van. The word "Enterprise" is Lithuanian for "stranded." Never again. read more

This site has the distinction of being the single worst case of customer service I've ever received. Staff is not well trained and do not understand corporate policies. We had an excellent experience with the service from this location. The person that helped us, Jonathan, was truly great and made sure we were provided with top service. Usually they will come and pick you up to get your rental car but the day I called in there was only one person in the office and they were unable to pick me up to get the car. I was in need of a vehicle for around 5 weeks, I didn't want a lot of hassle getting this arranged or debating on price, extras etc. I use rental companies all the time and it is a daunting experience going in to get a vehicle. They consistently replace customer service with trying to up sell extra, I dread the process. However, when I walked into the Sunny Isles Branch I was warmly greeted by Jameson Rahim, him being on that day was a blessing. Jameson is totally customer focused, friendly, patient and accommodating. He set everything up and when I wasn't happy with the first vehicle they bought over, he called around and bought a second vehicle over. I still felt this was not right for me and called some more to get another vehicle washed and bought to the premises for me to see. I felt that I was being very fussy, but he told me nothing was too much trouble, he wanted me to be totally satisfied with the rental, it was hot and I was flustered, but not Jameson, he remained cool, calm and professional throughout. He took the time to explain everything to me, whilst still having other customers arriving and calling on the phone, he multi tasks incredibly. You might say that all of this is his job, but I feel that he went above and beyond his job by dealing with everything that was going on around him, getting the balance right between friendly and professional and making the customer feel valued, not many rental companies take the time or effort to do that. All that he achieved was not easy to do with all the distractions and other customers there and on the phone, but he copes with it all with ease. I travel extensively and have used many rental companies, around the world, I can tell you that Jameson is up there with the best of them, he is an asset to this company and someone that promotes Enterprise with such pride and tenacity......you are lucky to have him! Horrible, do not go here! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and NASTY MANAGER (Reinaldo Ball). I called and reserved a car and went to go pick it up with my two babies and my mother and the manager said I that I reserved the car for 12pm and I am late and the car that I reserved isn't available but he has another car that is $2 more a day. I told him that when I reserved the car I never specified I would be there at 12:00 and the woman who took my reservation must have put that in on her own. He said there was nothing he could do about it and I had to pay the $2. His exact words were "it's a business decision." I told him "What kind of manager looses a sale over $2, when it's their fault." He then got angry and told me "you don't qualify for the car." I told him I qualified for the car a few minutes ago and have rented from you before , why don't I qualify now? He said "because we don't have any cars for you." I responded by saying you just told me two minutes ago you had a car for $2.00 more a day. He responded " you still don't qualify because you are aggressive and I am not giving you a car." I told him I was with my babies and walked to store and I need a car to get home and I will pay the $2, and he responded "it's not available anymore and you don't qualify and I am not giving you anything" and waived his hand to show me the exit. There was another sale associate sitting right next to the horrible manager Reinaldo Ball, and he was laughing and there was a guy in the back and he came around to the front to see what was going on and he started laughing as well (they thought it was funny that the manager wouldn't give us a car). I absolutely loved the guy that helped me. He clearly loved his job and loves people. His name was Alexie. He was the most informative and helpful rep I've ever encountered. I was a little disappointed when returning my car. While waiting to be next in line, I noticed the other rep pressuring the person in line to get the offered insurance. She even went so far as to making the lady log in to her insurance account from her phone to show that she had coverage. She even scrutinized the lady's policy. I was extremely disappointed to see this. I rent cars all the time for work so I know it is not mandatory to purchase the additional coverage. In fact, most credit card companies even offer this coverage. The sad part, is the rep was probably taught to do this. She clearly was not hiding her actions which led me to believe this is what is accepted at this location. read more
