This is the worst place in Tupelo. They charged me 25 dollars a day for the collision insurance on top of the insurance, paying 50 dollars a day. Why would anyone take out collision insurance at all? At those prices, a meal should come with it. They just took money out of my veteran husbands acount twice, big profits I rented a few years ago, and was not charged this big service charge. I reserved a vehicle got reservation confirmation email and even received a call from the Tupelo location the day before to confirm that I was coming to pick up the vehicle . I showed up today for reservation at first she told me I didn't have a reservation then I picked up my phone to find it then it mysteriously showed on the computer that I did she then preceded to tell me that they were overbooked and the systems should have shut down on Monday I told her that is not my problem nor my concern the reservation was made confirmed and I even received a phone call from the same establishment where the reservation was made . The girl then told me she couldn't take a vehicle from someone else for me . I never asked her to take anyone's vehicle for me I just wanted to know why I was called if there wasn't a vehicle available. So after I drive 45 minutes back home to figure out a new way to travel. We are finally on the road at about 1:30 I receive a phone call from the Tupelo establishment asking me was I coming to pick up my vehicle. I asked the girl what is going on I have already been there and I was told there wasn't a vehicle available. She got really nervous and said sorry enjoy your trip. This establishment and the workers are a joke . This is the worst customer service I have ever received. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. Not sure if it's this specific location or just how enterprise operates but arrived 15 mins before reserved time, was told to wait 10-15 mins for the vehicle to be washed. took over 30 mins yet that cost of time isn't deducted from the rental price. read more

It was great to have a car readily available when I needed it however, being charged for the time I returned the car on the day it was supposed to be back it bogus. Especially since I wasn't told at the front that I had to have it back by a specific time. Also upset that I was not told I had a $300 deposit until I was being handed keys and had already swiped. Don't rent a car from these people. we've had a reservation for 12 days, just showed up a few minutes early for our 9 am reservation time this morning, with reservation to rent a car for 10 days for a destination that's 12 hours away, only to get a song and dance about why there is no car for us. Worst customer service ever!!! Our insurance company reserved a car for us . I called the morning of our reservation to make sure we had a car and they assured me we did . When we got there one hour later they told us they had NO vehicles at all and we would have to wait , which we did for hours then called the other location which had NO vehicles. They both blamed corporate for overbooking them .The lobby was full of customers waiting for cars . We finally had to go and get our truck out of the shop and we went to Hertz where we were kindly taken care of and put in a vehicle right away . Hertz will be out go to car rental from now in . I'm OVER this Enterprise branch. Every time I'm there, at least one and typically a few men are eating/drinking super-sized who-knows-whats at their terminals, while the car "delivery" (?) men are just lounged all over the place. Today, even though I'd reserved a SUV a week prior, a gentleman who could NOT have cared a bit less told me, "We don't have one." He was absolutely no help when I asked why, and he would not call the other Enterprise location to see if they could supply one. Even if that's not protocol for this particular branch, it sure would have been an example of customer service that wasn't completely impotent. He did supply me with a minivan at (presumably) the same cost as the SUV, so that was appreciated (hence the begrudged two stars). My wife called the corporate office after we were denied a rental car because I didn't have electric or water bill. The woman at corporate stated she never heard of the " Covid requirement " and that she couldn't find a reason why they didn't rent a car to us. My wife asked what it because we are an interracial couple or that we are nurses who work with COVID patients. She stated she didn't think that was it but she would get back with us. This location in Tupelo always has great customer service. Our vehicle had not shown up on time the morning of our pickup but the guy I spoke to ensured me that he would contact me as soon as it arrived and would have it cleaned up and ready to go as soon as I arrived. He made that happen and I out of there within 5 minutes. Upon returning, the staff checked the car in a very timely manner and I had my receipt in hand and pulling off the lot in less than 5 minutes. read more

Enterprise in Tupelo, MS.. Let's start with the cons. Even though there were 8 people on the computer, I was not assisted immediately. I was the only actual customer there. That doesn't make sense to me. The store was dirty and I'm not the only customer who noticed. When I was assisted, the person who assisted me was polite. I requested someone drop me off at a nearby location. My request was granted, it was less than a mile away. But I had to wait for a driver to get there. Really it's 8 of you guys not doing much at all. Unfortunately I believe this is the only place who rents cars in Tupelo so I guess you don't have much of a choice. I overheard them tell someone they don't have any cars available for drop off at a different location. This is terrible customer service if you have cars then rent them. If you need more cars, Enterprise should move them. read more

I've rent several cars the past 5+ years at the store on north gloster. The one time I visited the store on south gloster was terrible. I had a called to confirm my reservation Saturday at 12 which they failed to mention they close at 12. I pull up to see a line to the back of the store many people without reservations. I was told there was a list which everyone in line placed they name on who apparently was getting a car and all the cats was rented. I've had a reservation for 3 days now and you're telling me first come first serve. Unprofessional and understaffed I'm done as a customer and so is my entire family. read more

Our vehicle is at the dealership. We need to rent a vehicle for up to 3 days. We called from the dealership. They assured us they had an SUV for us. We got here and they have nothing. They are waiting for returns. They have tried to get us in every little car that has been returned. There was a couple that came in right after we arrived. They walked out due to same problem. There is another man here yelling and screaming......same run around. I have called every other rental agency in Tupelo but they have either gone out of business or I had to leave a message. We have now been sitting here over an hour. We are fuming! Another lady just came in, she drove across town and now they do not have a vehicle for her. read more

The entire event was very professionally done. The car was exactly what I expected, clean and ready to go. The Counter staff was helpful and friendly. Both the pickup and delivery drivers were prompt, friendly and courteous. All in all this ain't your daddy's Enterprise any more. It out performs the others. At least here in Tupelo. read more
