Called and booked was promised pick up time of 11. 11:15 someone called said it would be 2:00 before they could get me. ok what else do I do... wait at 2:15 no one there no call I call oh we were waiting for you to call us... ??? keep in mind I had a reservation to be picked up at 11 then changed to 2 so I'm puzzled as to why they were waiting on a call from me 15 min later the driver pulls up get to office and I sit for 30 min car is not ready.... Hmmm finally they come get me take me outside go over car damage etc and I had already given card number to reservation people go to sign and since it's a debit card they want to charge me an additional 300.00 deposit to rent a car local for 2 days ?? And I was not informed when I booked... this did not sit well with me so I did not rent the car I had them take me back to hotel and I will never use them Ever again!!! Never had this problem! And rude as hell all employees running around not knowing which way is back or front other employees with a waiting room full of people on their phones outside horrible experience! I've been a "gold" Enterprise member for many years, and regularly rent cars for business trips and utilitarian use. So you can imagine how surprised I was when, the day of my rental, someone from the location where I was renting--because of a car repair--called me at 8AM, immediately jumping to the conclusion that this rental was for "Mr and Mrs." I'm married, but I have always used my own name and my rental documents say Ms, there was nothing about my husband. She doesn't apologize, but instead breathlessly starts telling me the "rules" about how to rent and how to pay. Yes, I say, I'm a gold member, I rent often. Oh no, she says, you're not, I checked! Okay...then she starts this patronizing b.s. about how I should check my credit availability to make sure I can afford the deposit. Would I be doing this if I couldn't afford it? We drive over to the rental location and my husband decides he'll go ahead and pick it up since I have serious back issues from an accident and sometimes have trouble walking. Unbelievably, she tells him that the full size car I reserved for $104 a day will instead cost him $150 a day, before fees and insurance. He's seen the reservation, he knows how much it was supposed to cost. He asks what she plans to do with the "extra fee," and she doesn't answer. At this point he has been in the office for 45 minutes, a good 40 minutes longer than either of us has ever stood around a rental location. What was the problem? Well, she was "training" people. In what, how to be rude and rip people off? We left. I've been renting cars for 40 years, and my husband for longer than that. We were treated like ignorant trash. Never had a good experience at this Enterprise location. Either they don't have a car, there's a problem with the paperwork, fill out another form, blah, blah, blah. And not only do they not answer the phone, but when I was in the store the employees were making jokes about how "if they wanted the phones answered, corporate was gonna need to hire a receptionist - we're too busy"... Every single time that I've had to rent a vehicle from this location I have had some type of issue. There's never a smooth transaction. The staff is rude and never punctual if you're needing to be picked up. I waited over an hour for a vehicle today, because the one that was ready was out of date on its oil change. I was told to wait in the vehicle and then asked to get out of it in the middle of doing the paperwork because the oil wasn't changed. Corporate should really come and get this office organized, because the management here is truly lacking the people/work skills needed to represent this business. They're making a mockery of the enterprise company, and that's no way to do business. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. First of all the first rental car they gave me smelled like piss. How that was miss is beyond me. So the second car they gave me the key fob had a low battery, I had to go to work so I asked if someone could swap me out key fobs or bring me a replacement battery since I was already at work. They told me no that if I make it through the weekend to go in Monday when they opened. I had to get a retail due to an insurance claim. Never got any calls, messages or emails about when my card would start being charged. The manager is such a tight a$$ and wouldn't own up to any fault on their end about not being in touch to avoid all these fees. Look else where for a car rental! read more

They did not have my rental as promised. My reservation clearly started it was for today, 7.30.18, with a reservation number. He was adamant it was supposed to be picked up on 7.25.18. Uh no! Horrible customer service. They don't bother answering phones and when they do they are rude.

After the frustrating experience at enterprise I was able to get in touch with one of the regional managers, Matt Hester, who dropped the charges because records were found that the damage I was being charged for had occurred when it was previously rented by someone else. Matt went to great lengths to address the problem. Bottom line, I wouldn't go to this location but I've gained more respect for Enterprise on a national level. read more

My insurance booked this for me and it's been a nightmare. From the reservation that was made for monday at 8 and them did not have a car for me then got one Wenesday that was non smoking and it was not! They say they pick you up but I had to beg them until they did. When I ask why I met so much resistance they manager said new employees didn't know. So coughing and allergy in full swing went today and was given a compact when my insurance paid for a full size. The employees right down to the manager Minny is rude and not professional. She told us to go smell the cars and she would put us in the one we chose but when we went out there all where lock and she left us out in the 95+ degree heat standing waiting. When we found one we liked she said it wasn't available. Then we where stuck with the matchbox car because they where all reserved. Again yes this is a nightmare and I'm stuck till I get my full size 4 door fully loaded american built truck back Tuesday or Wednesday. I am absolutely disgusted with the service and professionalism of Enterprise Car Rental in Victoria, Texas. We are international visitors and in early August we hired 2 cars in Victoria which we were taking interstate. We were charged a drop fee of US$825.40 per car when the actual drop fee was US$351.68. Overcharged $463.72. per car. Not only were we overcharged but we used 2 credit cards to pay for one of the cars. It seems something went wrong with 1 of the credit cards, even though the transaction accepted at the time, so without contacting the card owner or myself they charged over US$800 to my credit card without my knowledge or authorisation. No apologies or explanation has been given for this unauthorised and illegal credit card charge. When I returned home, after unsuccessfully trying to sort this issue in the US, I contacted Enterprise once again and emailed Victoria Manager, Mindy Gonzalez, about my concerns. On 24 August 2016 Mindy emailed me and advised we had been overcharged for our drop fee and we both would receive a refund of US$463. On 30 August I emailed Mindy and advised her no refund has been received. Mindy was out of office til 2 September. Today is 6 September and still no refund or contact from Enterprise. For a worldwide organisation I am extremely annoyed at the lack of professionalism and common decency shown by the Navarro Rd, Victoria branch of Enterprise. I would certainly not recommend Enterprise Car Rental and I sure as hell will never use them again. read more
