This review/rating might be a tad generous, but it is based predominantly on the customer service of two people. I arrived on the Thursday before the 4th of July weekend and it was a madhouse...emphasis on the word MAD! People were huffing and puffing and complaining about needing to get to work, and demanding to be driven home since the cars they wanted were not available. Much of this could have been avoided. People, including me, seemed to have made reservations in advance and stipulated the car they desired. The local team needs to pay attention to that and, rather than call the customer the day before and tell them the type of car they reserved may not be available (like they did me), they should work with all the other Enterprise locations and do everything possible to ensure those reserved cars are delivered in time. This being stated, the major kudos goes to Ms. Isaac (cannot remember her first name) who was very friendly and composed despite the vitriol she was experiencing and didn't deserve (it clearly wasn't her fault the car situation was bad). I had to wait for almost an hour, but she kept me posted and showed me car options that were available. While I didn't get the type of car I originally wanted and desired, she did place me in a solid vehicle that fit my needs. Given the situation, I very much appreciated her efforts! When I returned the vehicle today, Asla (I ams sure I got her name wrong so sorry!) was very helpful. When I pulled in I saw cars and people everywhere. I was worried it would be another long wait. But as I was walking in the door she was just finishing with a customer and asked me if I needed help. I told her I was returning a vehicle and she immediately got be checked out and on my way in a matter of minutes! Despite the chaotic scene, those two employees made what could have been a horrible experience quite palatable! read more

Making a reservation with them is worthless. They don't guarantee availability and the most they will say is they can put you in another type of vehicle. They have the audacity to offer you a sedan after you rented a pickup truck. read more

Jasmin called to discuss my complaint on her, which was in itself inappropriate. Sending me back thru the beginning of my complaint process doesn't work either. Please send the complaint to upper management for a response. Customer service is only part of the job. Sanitizing your vehicles to keep people safe is also an important part. Why are posting the same generic response to everyone's post. Please show a more personal response to show that Enterprise cares about its customers. Very dissappinted. read more

Tried to call 6 times in two days to make appointment for pick up. No one would answer the phone. Finally was able to make the reservation for pick up while getting my car repaired. Two weeks ahead of time. When I was picked up they did not have a car for me. They had two weeks notice. They said they had to wait for a return. Why!!? Finally got the car and it was old and beat up and smelled. Maybe they need to purchase some new cars for their fleet. read more

Wish I could give this location a half of star. I overheard the saleswomen talking about a car with a messed up tire and they issued me that vehicle. I had to put air in the tire everyday I had the vehicle. I called enterprise and drove back up there to ask for another vehicle. I have NOTHING but good things to say about my experience with this location. Every single person that I encountered here was pleasant, professional, and punctual. Time is a factor for these professionals. They are highly efficient and do not believe in keeping customers waiting. They address each customer as Sir or Ma'am and then by name once they learn what it is. Angelina was AWESOME and took my time and concerns into consideration. She deserves formal recognition! They offer water, rides, smiles and good manners. Can't say enough about their customer service. Oh! And they answer the phone when you call the office!! Worth the 40 min drive! read more

Customer Service should always be priority. 4 of us waiting to be helped and 6 employees are present but only 1 is working. We set a priority pass pickup for 8:30am through MD Auto Insurance the previous day. The lady helping, after cutting my fiancé and I off numerous times, said they called us on yesterday at 3:52pm. We stated we never got a call or a voicemail, her response to us, "Well we called." I stated,"Well if you called wouldn't it have made sense to connect with someone to ensure we didn't show up at 8:30am to get the car like now and now we have to find a way back home and to work." She just stared at us and said she changed the reservation to 3pm while we will be at work. Why not put us in a car that was already readily available. We've been waiting since the car accident last Sunday for a rental. Smh. read more

It is always some nonsense when it comes to enterprise! Whenever my husband puts in a reservation for a particular type of car, we never get that type of car! When traveling by car, we like to be comfortable & have enough space for whatever we are taking on our trip. A month or so ago, we took our grandson & had to have his car seat. We ended up uncomfortable in a pickup truck that was given all though an SUV was requested. Today, we are going to the beach & requested a full size car and was given a little Toyota Corolla...and we are taking the dog and needed to bring his gate. I don't understand how you reserve something, then not get what you asked for! And with a straight face they have the nerve to act as if you have not been inconvenienced & don't even want to give so much as a free tank of gas or take money off your rental! Returned a car expecting be driven home. Why? Well because I rented a car and was picked up. Unfortunately, upon my rental return, I watched the Manager order his staff to drive customers to dealerships after returning cars but I was told that he had someone call out and could not take me home. I am 5 miles away. I asked if I can wait till someone is available to take me home and even asked it they could pay for an uber for me at a last resort. The manager very arrogantly said that he can only take people home who have cars at dealerships and that he will not have a ride for me even if I waited around. I had to call a friend who lived 30 min away to pick me up. I have been a customer for years and have seen mangers work magic when it comes to lack of resources. For example, charge a cab to the branch to get a customer back home. Mind you, this branch is my local branch. What do I have to do with someone calling out of work? I don't even remember an apology. I even put in a complaint to the ERAC website and absolutely no one responded or contacted me. This incident happened this Spring. I didn't want to write a public yelp review but I have no choice at this point. We all know someone who works for Enterprise or use to work for Enterprise and when I asked the people I know.. they all said that should have never happened. After this, I have never rented from them again and I need to rent for work and personal quite a bit. Maybe someone will respond if it's public. We shall see. read more

We put our car in the shop to replace the transmission and needed a car for the week. Enterprise came through for us with no problems or hassles. Wish I could give this place zero stars. Had a 9am reservation booked through my insurance that I confirmed over the phone the day before...got there at 9 and I shit you not I did not get into a car until 12. What was the point of a reservation? I was supposed to go to work...do you know how it felt to have to keep calling my boss to tell them I'm STILL waiting?! They had to send a car from fort Washington and then I had to wait while they cleaned it AND gassed it up...again WHY wasn't this taken care of already since I had a so called "reservation." Not to mention when I finally did leave the lot the car was still dirty, crumbs were everywhere and it smelled like there had been food left in it overnight... it gets worse. After my insurance told me after they stopped paying I could continue renting the car at their discounted nationwide rate... because my car was totaled and I hadn't bought a new car yet. Enterprise in the past has ALWAYS reached out to me 2 days prior to any changes or if they need to charge my card... they must have gotten new incompetent ppl because I received no calls. But apparently they discontinued the discounted insurance rate after 1 week without giving you a heads up and then charge your card for 500 dollars without telling you first and give you until the next day to return it or they charge you another days rate... when I called them to discuss, their reply was "it was your insurance company's job to tell you- not ours." I had zero time to make other arrangements. Also there was a nail in the tire and I put air in it almost every single day! I will never ever use enterprise again! read more

RENTER BEWARE , Let me start this review with I never use this location but I have never had an issue with the Clinton, Camp Springs or the Enterprise by the Sam's Club. This location has the most rudest manager MC. My family use this location because our vehicle was having work due across the street. Geico made reservations so the 5 hour wait was a bit much. Every time we'd ask for an update the manager would say the vehicle was being sanitized. The truth was there wasn't enough mid size cars so the manager was trying to pawn of a Suburban and a Tahoe but because most people was paying through insurance no wanted to pay an extra $94 a day. Finally she said we would have to shuttle to the location near Sam's Club. Once arriving we was given a Elantra the vehicle had so many scratches the young man said we only need to document it if its bigger than an inch . Normally I would take my own pictures but after a long wait time my phone was dead. After returning the vehicle MC tried to charge my family for a SCRATCH on the fender. If you happen to leave something in the car kiss it goodbye because they don't even inspect the cars before sending them out again and the only thing the have to say about it is "sometimes they inspect the cars, sometimes they don't, we're only human" but inspecting the cars before sending them out is literally their job. It is hard to believe that a rental car company would be the first business I ever reviewed on yelp, but here I am! I was so impressed by this group! The customer service is beyond outstanding! The entire process was quick and efficient. Even when I called at the last minute to extend my rental, I was on the phone for less than 5 minutes. Every employee I came into contact with was warm and inviting. I wish that I was better with names so that I could shout them all out personally, especially the young man (with 'locks) who checked me out, the young lady (curly fro) who greeted me at the door, the gentleman who extended my reservation, and the 'newbie' who checked me in. The staff has clearly undergone new direction with how they are suppose to interact with customers. Had a 1 day rental because the dealership held my car am extra day. The associate didn't even charge for the 2 gallons of gas used. It's not just that but overall night and day improvement. This is my second time renting from this location. I have not been disappointed. I had to get a rental so that my daughter would have a way to get to work while her car was in the shop. We thought we'd need it for just a few days. The car was not out of the shop and I had to get an extension. Then it snowed and the car still was not out of the shop so, I had to get another extension. They were very accommodating, patient and pleasant during the whole ordeal. When the car was finally ready for pick up, they took my daughter to the location to get her car. Although I'm moving from the area, I will still use their services because great customer service goes a long way with me. My first rental was a very nice SUV. It had all the bells and whistles. The only thing i have to mention this time is that when you book for a specific car because you know how the car is good in gas and you end up getting the worse car in gas is very hurting your budget. Wow! I was truly amazed at the professional demeanor that the staff maintained under apparent 'fire'. I mean the placed was packed wall to wall on a Monday evening with plenty of anxious, tired, and hot (it was over 90 degrees outdoors) folks (self included) - the perfect ingredients for potential flare ups between customer and staff. I remarked to one of the managers, Jason, how incredible his team just seemed to work the crowd, servicing each one in a warm and welcoming manner. They even managed to lightly joke with the customers, offering h20 upon request, and genuinely showing respect. At the end of a long day, this is CUSTOMER SERVICE at its best.
