So I had my system installed on October 2015 and signed a 5yrs contract. It's August 2020 and I called to make sure that I cancel that contract by the expiration date so I don't have to continue paying $58/month. After being transferred around and waited on the line for 35 minutes (see enclosed screenshot of wait time), I'm told in order to cancel in Oct, I have to call back in September as there's no way they can put in an advance order for cancellation, nor can they cancel anything less than 30 days. Meaning, if I miss the September date, and call in October, I will still have to pay for one more month and contract ends in November. In today's computer age and especially for a technology company (home security is heavily dependent on tech), I find their policy to be very poor customer service, and designed to squeeze as much money out of the customer as possible. read more

They will lie to you to get a sale by saying " we are the only security company that the police respond to" they then sell you contract to a company called monitronics whom is so terrible that they had to change their name to Brinks home security. After the first week of getting our system installed by Daniel Ryan, I can say that this system is light years away from our old system. The installation went well and Daniel walked us through all of the functionality of this system and made us really feel comfortable with it. The online application is really user-friendly and I can add accounts and make changes (door & window names, etc.) which wasn't easy to do with ADT. The folks at Envision Security were great. Really liked our sales rep Vladimir Belteton, very curtious, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. He answered all of our questions and the technician got the install done earlier than expected. The folks on the phone were great as well. We had a system problem and they contacted a tech. who was on a job in AZ and took the time to call me at home in Calif. to solve the problem. It was nice they could utilize most of the existing ADT equipment, that gave us the ability to get additional sensors. Control panel is way more easy to operate over the previous ADT panel, makes the advanced functions easier to get to and operate. Great company with excellent customer service. Where do I start... let me just say I have been a Monitronics customer for over 3+ years. Anytime I had a problem they have addressed and fixed with no issues. Recently I called in a service call for my outdoor camera. David Ryan arrived and was very professional. And to find out he is a fellow veteran was even more welcoming to know that Envision takes care of our vets! Awesome. David tried to service my camera only to find out it was no longer serviceable. He contacted his boss and was able to get me a newer camera. Let me also say the crawl space and position of this camera was installed who knows how by a previous envision installer who did a great job. David was able to crawl in the attic and make it work again. Let me just say David was very professional and hopefully I get him again when I upgrade with newer available equipment in the future. So to Davids boss I say I really think he needs a raise after dealing with today's job in the heat for over 4 hours! read more

We got Envision Security a couple months ago and we love it! Dylan came to our door and was very professional and knowledgable. He wasn't pushy and allowed for me to talk over the security system with my husband. That night Dylan and Frank came back to our home and talked us through the entire process and made sure we were gonna be happy with the services we were getting. We previously had The Monitoring Center and we had nothing but problems with TMC. Envision customer service has been superb and their reps are amazing. We loved our security system, it wasn't till we moved that the problems began. So envision is a contractor and will sell your security monitoring to Moni. Then you belong to Moni. We sold our house and were told we could end our contract if we transfer the service to the new owners. Envision ended up selling the new owners a new security contract with my equipment. Now I am stuck in my contract for 4 more years and two families are paying for monitoring services on one address. They offered to transfer the service, but I do not need it where I am. Point is that I have been fighting this with both companies for 7 months and there's no help from any of them. read more

Worst service possible. The company provided me a camera with the home security service. One month later the camera stopped recording and now 5 months later it does not work at all. The will charge if they have to send someone to fix it. They never informed me about this. They said that they will send me s copy of contract. This company cannot be trusted. Let's start with sales guys that came to my door. They were presentable, friendly , super knowledgable able all the features the would provide me. It was competitive pricing... I'm sold. Installers come out and again very helpful and made sure I knew how to use features. Cut to maybe a month later when I'm having issues. My sky bell won't open. BAsically what this is is a camera on your doorbell. Someone rings your bell and you can use the app to ope camera and view, even communicate with person at your door. You could be at your house in the back room or at the store down the street. Sounds awesome , right? Not only that you can use the app to arm your system while in your house or after you've driven away or if you remember at the store that you didn't arm you system, you can even do it there. My sky bell would not open and when I called # I got nothing but nonsense. Something about Verizon towers and my wifi which isn't Verizon. They tried to blame my wifi connection which was not changed or altered since the beginning of their service .Basically I was told to try it again in the next day or two and if the camera opens agains the issue would be fixed. Really? Whatever so I tried the next day and sure enough it opened. But the is has just been hit or miss from day to day. It's not a constant feature that works consistently. I would say that sky bell cam works maybe 50% of the time at best. Now comes the arming of the system issue. I can't do it through the app as promised either. 70% of the time I lock up pull out of the garage and pull out my phone to arm. The thing just idles and eventually times out. Leaving me to go back into my house on busy weekday mornings when I have two boys in my car that need to get to school on time or my other option is to continue to drive of leaving my house unarmed even though I pay my full security fee each month. They do not stick to their end of the bargain as I do. This company is dishonest and hard to work with. Between the Monotronics and Verizon cell towers and Envision who all play some portion of this three ring circus it seems impossible to get quality customer care that I so miss from my last security system. I should've stuck with the small price increase than deal with this nonsense. read more

I couldn't be happier with envision security! This alarm company is not only inexpensive but they are on top of keeping us safe. We used to have ADT and I hated it because several times our alarm would go off and nothing happened. The one that made me look for another alarm company was when the alarm system was ripped off the wall and turned off and for an entire week we never got notified that our ADT was disconnected, and if it wasn't for me contacting them I believe they still wouldn't know till now. So I called ADT and notified them that I don't ever want them again. That's when I found envision and can't thank them enough for always protecting my home, I finally feel safe setting the alarm knowing I won't have someone in my home again robbing my belongings. Are alarm system has accidentally gone off a few times and within seconds a real person is speaking through the speaker asking for passwords and info to make sure it's not someone else in the home.
