Marie and her team are knowledgeable, professional, prompt and always utilize the latest technologies and medical grade products for your face and body care. The price points are great, whether you choose individual services, or even better, when you purchase treatments through packages and promotions. There are never any pressure sales tactics. Caroline, my aesthetician, provides amazing facials, always giving much needed advice and follow up. It's not only a super nice and relaxing treat, but I'm so happy with the ongoing results. Recently, I've been going to see Laurie Lee, for more body related treatments, like Sequex (electromagnetic field therapy) combined with Vitamin D, red and/or blue light therapy. I was a bit surprised to read some of these reviews. I've never had a bad experience and staff has always been very knowledgeable and friendly. I've finished 7 sessions of laser hair removal for my underarms, upper lip and brazilian. Each Esthetician I saw was gentle and polite, and the results are very satisfying! I've also taken advantage of their seasonal promotions and got a fountain of youth facial. It was an enjoyable service for the price. I have and will continue to recommended friends to get laser hair removal from here. It is worth the value. read more

Another bust by Envi Me Medi Spa. I had given them another chance and renewed my laser package. This time the laser machine had broken down and still I did not receive a phone call to notify me of the delay or to reschedule. Not only do I drive 4 hours round-trip to give them my business but also take the day off work. Again - the malfunction is not within their control but making a phone call is. GO SOMEWHERE else!!!! I have been about eight times now and every single time there is a wait- one time it was nearly an hour wait!! You have to wait for your appointment, almost always there's a wait after to book next appointment. The few times I have called the person on the other end was rude, and after almost a year, the laser is not even working!! The only positive about this place is the lady that works there, Marie. I went to Envy Me today for the 1st of 4 visits to honor a promotion that the company is doing (a pay-in-advance 90% off specific services), which is a pretty great deal. session 1 was to include: skin analysis refresher facial decollete massage eyebrow shaping complimentary refreshment I frequent a different spa at least once a month for various treatments, and I have been to many in the past as well, so my standards are based on all of my experiences and frankly, for the price one pays at a spa, they are fairly high! The facial was first, and the esthetician was very nice and seemed quite accommodating, but her co-workers were yelling back and forth outside the room for most of the facial/massage, which wasn't the calm experience one hopes for at a spa. The esthetician left the room several times for things she had forgotten, slamming the door upon reentering, which didn't feel very relaxing either. after the "decollete" massage, she said we were done, so I reminded her that there was an eyebrow shaping as well. We went to the next room for this and during the waxing, her co-workers were still very loud and even opened the door and attempted to come in. When we were done, i asked if there was going to be a skin analysis or refreshments and the esthetician seemed confused, then said no, then said "okay, all i can tell you is that you need to exfoliate more often", which i had stated previously that i do every day. I wouldn't necessarily say this was a horrible experience, I just would have preferred something more relaxing, especially if I were to recommend to others or return myself. I also wouldn't recommend it to those who are concerned about their skin care products being organic, or non-toxic, or petroleum free, or free of irritating fragrances. However, everything seemed fairly clean, and there was a water jug by the door so at least I wasn't completely ripped off in the refreshment part of the deal! read more

Not recommended at all! First, every time I was there, the owner was complaining in front of clients how she wasn't making any money on this and that. Made me uncomfortable instead of relaxed. Secondly, my laser treatment seems to have been temporary. . After 10-12 treatments the hair is growing back 3 months after finishing treatment. I was walked in on while i was changing by staff and instead of saying sorry..she Continued and said "i need to get a towel". The door opens to the main hallway. .i heard staff swearing while cleaning Windows of the door. . So many things that made me feel uncomfortable while there. .. not happy with service in any way. read more

I have been visiting this place for a while now (due to convenience), thinking, for some reason, that they would get better service. They are not honest about the laser treatments and their success rates in terms of the type of hair and skin YOU have yourself. Of course, everyone is different but make sure you do your research. Secondly, I recently got a Brazilian wax and it was the worst pain I have ever endured in my life (me thinking at the time that this was normal). I ended up with blisters. It's not supposed to be THAT bad. The lady that seems to do the waxes went over the same area multiple times with the wax, alternating between the regular wax, and the hot wax that dries and you peel off, which was horrible since she was putting super hot wax on an area that had already been (for the lack of a better word) tortured. She wasn't able to get some of the hair in those areas, which was fine because I wanted to get out of there, but what bothered me was that she didn't even bother actually trying to wax the rest of it. With a Brazilian, you're supposed to end up bare, and she completely forgot to do the back part. In addition, she was very crude, a bit rude, and ended up getting wax all over the place, including my clothing (which was quite a feat considering I was bare from my chest down.) The owner is an absolutely lovely woman but not everyone who works there does a good job. They're alright for other things, but I don't think I'm ever going there, ever again. read more

Stay away! This spa is under new ownership and new name. They hide behind the original name "NV Medical Spa" when they deiced not to honor the promotion they sold. Once they get your money they could carless what they sold you and tell you to go to the Woodbridge location if you don't like it. The new owner is an older blond lady named Cindy, who is very rude! I purchased 6 laser treatments for my under arms with the soprano and when I had my 1st treatment I arrived 15 min early and I wasn't taken into the room until 30 min later. The technician took about 20 min to do my service and didn't explain anything to me was to busy complaining about Cindy the Manager selling these cheap packages and she couldn't keep up with all the appointments. My 2nd appointment again I was earlier and waited 40 min to have my treatment done. No apology very rude when I was taken to the room this time the service was no more than 5 min. I was confused and approached the front desk and asked why my 1st visit was 20 min and this treatment was less than 5 min. She told me to take it up with the manager and that she only does what she's told. When the Manager/Owner Cindy came to the front she then began to tell me that it was done properly and that her and all her staff are trained experts. She wouldn't let me talk and said what she had to say and walked away. I went home and called around to spa's who carry the soprano and asked about the service and what expect. I even contact the company Alma who sells the machine and they also educated me and based on my skin & Hair colour I should be treated approx. 20 to 25 min. On my next treatment Again I arrived 5 min early and waited 30 min. My treatment was again less than 5 min.I then told the technician that it was too short and told her hat I called the company many spa's and all confirm that the treatment should be 20 to 25 min long and the setting should be at 10 and she left the room to call her Manager. When I looked over to the machine I noticed that the machine was set on 5!!! Not only are they shorting my treatment they also lowering the power. Cindy came in the room again she started to talk and talk without even asking me what my concerns were. Telling me that she's the Canadian trainer for Alma and that she knew what she was doing. When I asked her about the 5 on the machine she said it didn't mean anything and If I wanted to know then I should go to school and take the course. I asked to speak to the owner and she then said she was the owner. I asked for a refund for the remaining services and she said NO! WOW!! I left with the intention of finishing the last few services and never returning. Guess what I called left numerous messages and nobody called me back. 7 weeks later I called and finally someone answered the phone and was told that they were fully booked for the next 2 months and my package would expired at that time so I would have to purchase again. I asked if I could go to there Woodbridge location and they said I was more than welcome to try. I booked the appointment went into that location the Woodbridge. I was told that the owner had sold the Barrie location 1 1/2 years ago and that my package was not valid at the Woodbridge location. I had told them the experience I had and the Manager decided to honor the remaining treatment at the Woodbridge location at No extra charge. When I was taken in the treatment room Laura the Technician explained everything to me, she was amazing, my treatment took 30 min. long when I looked over at the laser the machine was set at 10! Envy Spa in Barrie is the biggest lazer scam artists around........They lower the settings so your not getting maximum heat to burn the hairs. Then when your 12 sessions are up they convince you to buy more calling it maintenance. Its all bull----!!!! The owner is the biggest scammer around. She tells her staff to lower the settings!!!!!!! Pay the extra money and go to a good reputable lazer clinic!!!! read more

I had high hopes when I walked into Envy Me Medi Spa, but I was completely disappointed with the manicure/pedicure treatment I had. The technician rushed through the entire process, only coating my nails once. My cuticles were left untreated and the polish job was spotty. To make it even more of a bummer, the shellac polish upgrade I paid for was a complete waste of money. The polish chipped two days after the manicure was done, where in other salons it has lasted for two weeks. Save yourself the money and skip this salon - do your nails at home for half the price and twice the quality. read more
