As it was a bit rainy I stayed inside and found quit soon myself involved in a couple of conversations, at the same time. And so it went on until it was time to close the pub. No problem. We went outside, the rain had stopped, and we continued to talk and share opinions and views until early morning. Had to return the next evening because people here were so gentle and easy going. And for the beer, of course. Can't tell you how many different kind of beer they have. But the one I had were all excellent. The professionalism of Ballarak Magione says it all.

We basically went right in which was very nice. We sat in the front room as you entered. There were about 7 or 8 tables and another room off to the side. We ordered the Pasta with Pumpkin, Pecorino, and Ricotta Cheese and the Pasta with Pistachio Pesto, Stracciatella Cheese and Sun Dried Tomatoes. Both dishes were perfectly prepared. My pick was the pistachio one and it was addictive. I couldn't stop eating it. The pumpkin one was equally as good but that addictive kept calling my name. We both had to finally give up because we wanted to try the dessert. The dessert was definitely the finale. A deconstructed cannoli. Best we had In Palermo. This place nails it. The atmosphere is hip. The music is great. The service is the best we have had in our three weeks in Sicily. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend. Make a reservation!!!

Staff is very friendly and happy to give recommendations. We called ahead to reserve one of the 2 tables on the hidden balcony out back. It's lovely as the sun is setting as it is as if you are drinking wine in a private cave and looking out at the gorgeous sea. The hardest part was finding parking, so give yourself plenty of time to do that if you make a reservation. The other tables on the back had been reserved as well. If ever in downtown Cefalu again, I would definitely come back for a well-priced aperitivo in a stunning environment with friendly service!

We started off sitting inside until there was availability to sit outside overlooking the water. The staff is very nice and friendly. I'd come here again.
