If you love your children, do NOT take them here…read more Our recent visit to this clinic was not only a complete waste of time, it was a deeply upsetting and harmful experience for our daughter, who is autistic and has developmental delays. We came here specifically because they advertise themselves as a children's dental clinic with the supposed expertise to handle children with special needs. That could not be further from the truth. After making us wait over 30 minutes past our scheduled appointment, we were met with a dentist whose bedside manner can only be described as cold, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of listening to our concerns, the dentist immediately scolded my wife, claiming she wasn't brushing our daughter's teeth well enough. Our daughter--who was clearly anxious and verbalized "I'm scared" multiple times--was completely ignored. Not once did the dentist look her in the eye or attempt to offer even the most basic reassurance. That alone should be disqualifying for someone working in pediatric care. The actual "exam" consisted of a quick glance with a mirror, followed by, and I quote, "you must make appointment to come back it will be a very long time." No cleaning. No proper consult. No effort to understand our daughter's unique needs. Just a lecture about how we should be holding her down and forcing her to brush her teeth twice a day. If you know anything about autism and sensory processing disorder, you know how reckless and damaging that advice is. We raised a specific concern about an adult tooth coming in before a baby tooth had fallen out--an issue that has led to braces for all of our other children. The dentist brushed it off with a dismissive, "is not a problem," offering no explanation or follow-up plan. We left with nothing. No answers, no care, no respect. Just a traumatized child and a deep sense of regret for ever stepping foot in this place. This clinic does not understand or respect neurodiverse children. They do not listen to parents. They offer no meaningful care. And worst of all, they do real emotional harm. They should be shut down. I'll be watching closely for the inevitable copy-paste canned response that this office posts under every negative review--of which there are many. That alone speaks volumes.

My husband and I went to Adelmann Dentistry today for a cleaning/exam and second opinion on some…read moredental work that another clinic had recommended for both of us. As it turns out, neither of us needed the fillings that the other clinic had told us were necessary. After having mixed feelings about our old clinic (with good reason!), it feels great to find a dentist who will not recommend dental work that we don't need. Adelmann Dentistry is not nearby our home or work; I'm sure we passed dozens of dentists on our way to get there, but my only regret is not going to them sooner! My husband and I both had a great experience. Anne was my husband's hygienist and she was great! I had Jean, who is easily the most thorough and friendly hygienist I have ever had. Both Dr. Adelmann and Dr. Kokkinen were trustworthy, professional, and kind. Everyone we interacted with seemed happy that we were there and genuinely cared about us having a good experience. I highly recommend them!

When I asked for more explanation I felt like I was putting them out. Even the kids complained there was no way he could have determined hos many cavities they had with as little time he spent with them. One of the hygienists was very sweet and attentive to my daughter yet wipped their through her cleaning like the place was on fire. We will give them one more try only because the are so near by.
