I've been a patient of Eagan smiles for 2 years. I had an extremely bad tooth they saw me the same day and we're able to relieve my pain and then do a crown. Dr Jacob Kettering is my dentist and I would recommend him to anybody. He is extremely personable and remembers things you've talked about prior. He is a member of the community he works in and I really respect that for professionals. The office experience is always amazing Chris and Rachel know exactly what they're doing and get things handled quickly. I also really respect that because of their great office staff we are given the pricing of everything before we'll do it and what the insurance will cover. I had a cleaning scheduled for my son and I 6 months in advanced. Had to leave work early to make the appointment, drive to pick up my son and then the dentist office which is over a 1.5 hour trip. Get there to find the doors are locked. A staff member was walking out the door and rushed to her vehicle as my son and I were just about to the door. We waited around thinking someone went on break. Finally called the number on the door and was told someone in the office canceled our appointments. I never received notification of this. Called next day to have someone tell me they no longer have later hours on the day my appointment was scheduled. They claimed to have called twice, I verified the phone number on file; I never received a call or voicemail. Only thing offered was as to schedule another appointment on a day they would be open late. Don't think I'll be back. read more

Dr Unger is amazing. He went out of his way to help me with my gum issue. His follow up came care was above and beyond!!

I visited for a couple years simply for the convenient location. my experience was always poor. Lack of professionalism with all staff and dentist. No consistency in staff. Over the time I went for preventative and dental work, I never saw the same professional more than once. Appts always began late. and last time two working the front desk insisted I download the app to check in. Two people sitting at the desk, me that only one in the waiting area. They would not check me in. The bigger problem is that so many of their services are billed to my medicare insurance and rejected, yet Eagan Smiles tells me they do not bill me. They insist on xrays every six months even if there's no reason to expect a problem, these too are rejected by my insurance company due to frequency. The Eagan smiles explains that there is no charge for the xrays. I asked then, why bill insurance? Lack of explanation, poor to little management, unprofessionalism, no customer service is why I've left. But performing services that are not needed and billing insurance is the biggest problem there. read more

The receptionist, Shelby, spent all the time I needed to ensure I understood the financial costs of my plan, their plan, and their "regular" costs. I've had terrible experiences with other dental providers, but Eagan Smiles has provided me the best patient experience I've ever had at a dentist. I appreciate the respect they gave me in regards to my financial situation, helped me to figure out the best options, and all the dentists/support staff are excellent at communicating and making you feel comfortable. The same day crown is the way to go for me because I travel a lot and want to avoid dental issues on the road. I'm very satisfied with the same day crown they put in and how efficiently everything was done that day. I like how they identified and prioritized the work I already knew I needed to have completed to catch up with my maintenance. They weren't pushy about scheduling and understood my situation. I grew up poor, and as such didn't have very good options to take care of my teeth. It wasn't until I was 26/27 years old that I could afford to get myself into a dentist and start some serious after-care to get me back on track. The dentist office I choose was Eagan Smiles, and I could not be more happy with the results. Every visit I've been to has been above and beyond, and from day one they've been there to help me towards getting a better smile. With so much work that needed to be done, and knowing that dentistry isn't cheap to begin with, I prepared for a long and costly road to a better smile. With that, the staff has always been very up front about explaining costs, benefits of my dental insurance, and even helping me out with short-term payment plans. Now I've been a client there for 3 years, my gums are healthy, my cavities are filled, and I even got all four wisdom teeth removed there. If they approached me to be a poster-boy for all the good work they do, I'd be more than happy to show it off. Last note, make sure you get Ted as your hygienist -- great guy! Don't get me wrong though, all of the staff there is BEYOND stellar, and Dr. Moe could not be nicer. I thoroughly enjoy getting to catch up with everyone there on my visits. read more

Originally when I came to Eagan Smiles I needed a new dentist close by because I didn't like my old dental office at that time frame the dentist did a great job in the cleaning and was able to immediately fill a cavity same day. The second visit almost a year later after a reminder call to come back before the end of the year where I would lose my health insurance coverage(because I am horrible at remembering to go to the dentist). On the second visit they have a new doctor Dr.Hannon did a great job in reviewing my teeth, making sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment and got the cleaning done quick and easy. read more

Great experience! I'm a very hesitant and nervous patient at the dentist. The staff at Eagan Smiles was so great. Everyone from when I walked in til the end was so kind and helpful. Cari and Maddie the assistants I had took good care of me and made sure I was comfortable. The Dr. was thorough and careful, knowing how nervous I was. Overall, they did what needed to get done, without doing unnecessary work. Tons of technology here too, I definitely felt like I was getting the best care available. Very poor service. I went in for one of their $59.oo special and got lousy service for it. The gal at the front desk was not very nice and the tech xray guy had a hard time taking the x-rays. The inspection by the "doctor" was very quick and his recommendation was for a $2200 treatment for my gum disease. I got the hell out of there and never came back. I also went to another clinic and they did not find any gum disease issues!!! This was the worst dentist clinic I have ever been to out of five. Please, stay away. read more

I went in for a filling and they shattered my tooth with a drill. I have always had good teeth too. It took all day to fix it and put a temporary crown on. I was going to do surgery with them the next day and paid $1700 as a prepay for it. When I decided I was scared of them and wondering if I even needed the surgery ..I cancelled the surgery and this happened: 1) they were going to charge me a fee to cancel the surgery (after what they did); and, they would not credit our credit card back they were going to keep our money for 4-6 weeks and send a refund check. When I said I was going to get legal involved they said to talk with their legal dept in CA. Stay clear of this place. I made a huge mistake going here! read more

I felt like they understood my concerns and addressed them, and gave me the information I needed to maintain an excellent overall dental health. Great staff. I had a root canal and crown done here and it was a breeze and painless. My kids (1 special needs) saw Dr. Kimble here and he's the first dentist my son has ever let in his mouth and Dr. Kimble made it fun for him. Highly recommend not for just adults, but kids as well. read more

I just had the most pleasant dental checkup ever! As a new patient, I was greeted by Dr. Thao himself, who gave me a tour of the facility. The x-ray technician, Ginger, and the cool equipment, meant there was almost none of that jab-in-the-gums pain and soreness. Later I was able to pay from my chair after the cleaning, so I didn't have to stop on the way out. I came to take advantage of the first-time offer, but I will be back! read more

I hadn't been to a dentist in 2-3 years because I was TERRIFIED. Last time I went, I left with bloody and sore gums, miserable, and feeling like crap being berated for how my teeth were. Absolutely not the case at Eagan Smiles. Everyone there is kind, helpful, and great at their jobs. I had to have a root canal, a cavity filled, and an extensive gum cleaning. Not once did they make me feel bad for how my teeth were. Ted was incredibly kind and explained everything to me and why were we doing it. The day I went in for my crown I had a few questions about other services I needed done, and Dr. Moe said "we'll just take care of that now!" Other places would have asked me to reschedule. Yendry the dental assistant was great to chat with, funny, and caring. And Carol Ann at the front desk was so helpful and was always checking on me to see if I needed anything.
