My parents, trusting his word, paid him in full, but the job was never done 100%. He promised to come back the next day to finish. Said it was scheduled multiple times after that. Then, weeks later, claimed the job was "too big." But it wasn't too big to take the money upfront. He left the yard and the street a complete mess - massive logs and limbs in the ditch, debris everywhere -- until our kind neighbor stepped in to clean it up. And they're in a flood zone, so any rain water would only back up to the yard and house because of the debris. But the tree? Still standing. And my elderly parents? Out ! He stopped answering my parents' calls. My husband and I have tried to resolve this privately, respectfully -- but nothing. After a few weeks of excuses (he doesn't work on weedends now, etc.), he failed to show up again. This time - he has other things to take care of. Not once did he proactively call or take responsibility. We must look out for our elders! If this review helps just one of you or your parents or your grands avoid the same issue, it's worth it. Mr. Hudson was nice over the phone, but he never came through. :/ I'm sure he probably had good intentions at first.
