This morning this store had 2 employees that were very rude and unwelcoming to me today. They…read moreclearly were looking down on me because I was receiving free clothing for the first time. I was told Repeatedly I need to hurry up and leave the store. I did hurry but I needed to get long pants for the extremely cold weather. I was going to pay for the pants but the employees made me feel so uncomfortable that I decided that it would be better for me to shop at a store that would treat me as a customer and not a burden. I was also harrassed in the bathroom by the same female employee. I was shocked to be treated so poorly by a church. I am grateful for the free clothing but the employees rude behavior was uncalled for.

Here's my latest Facebook rant: Just a comment from today's visit. A woman was in the store and she really liked a small lamp that was donated to your store to bring joy to others, donated to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others. I believe that's the concept of your store or maybe even to spread the joy of the original our Lady of Hope, possibly to give hope to others?. Lamps are half price today. Anyway, the ladies in the front to middle-aged ladies with short light brown hair, were haggling with customers. I listened to iher denying people the daily discounts for items donated.to you to spread the Gospel. For all 40 minutes while I was in the store. When I was readying to check ou, the lady who liked the lamp came up she said " I can't believe it, I'm so lucky- the lamp is half price I can get it." But the lady behind the counter said "oh no that's from a different section of the store and it has to plug in, so technically its not a lamp." The lady obviously really wanted the lamp but she obviously didn't have the money to pay full price. So she said "oh but it is a lamp because lamps don't necessarily have to plug in." The clerk was unmoved. The lady left without her lamp. Very sad. I thought maybe there was a chance here for a slight lesson and I walked up to them while they were talking poorly and very loudly about the lady who wanted to buy the lamp as some shyster who was " just trying to get it for cheap.." they failed to see the need. They failed to be Ladies of Hope. So I mentioned to them "would you like another perspective? If you are going to volunteer in a Christian thrift store shouldn't you model christ? Especially to customers who may not go to church and you might be the only church or Christ they see (or the only Lady of Hope (term used lightly here) some of your customers might ever meet? The response from the lady who refused the sale said that she's "only a volunteer and doesn't have the authority to model Christ!" She has to sell it for what it says it is even if she is determining what it is........ I mentioned to her that it is fairly ludicrous for any believers to say that they do not have the authority to model Christ, but by this time they had started turning on me. As they started ridiculing me I left the store. Just for the record, if this is what you're teaching in your church why would anyone want to go there? How will you answer to Jesus for the people that you've turned away from him? Isn't that more valued than the two or three dollars off the poor lady wanted to pay? And how will you answer the souls that you allowed to fall through, after those ladies of Hope treated them with no hope. I'm praying for that lady. Had I got there before she ran out I would have bought it for her myself...

This location has a large selection of men's clothing and shoes. They also have a large selection of women's clothing as well. This location is very clean! The staff were all very friendly. The only negative thing was they don't have a dressing room to try clothes on. Instead they give you a 3 day return for store credit if they don't fit. My wife and I definitely recommend this Goodwill location! * I found a pair of jeans here that normally sell for $80 new I paid $8. My wife found a pair of jeans (Hudson Jeans) that normally sells for $200; she paid $9. She also found a Margo suede handbag of New York that sells for $130 new; she paid $8.

I stopped in here today for the first time, although I only live a few miles from here until today…read moreI didn't know it existed - my first impression after walking through the front door was wow what a great shop, neat and organized and we were immediately greeted by the friendly engaging owners. There seems to be a little bit of everything here somethings very old that triggers your childhood memories, somethings that you may have long forgotten even though they were treasures that your parents or grandparents may have owned and proudly displayed. There's so much amazing inventory inside but the outside is just as impressive the courtyard is filled with yard art and signs, it may be worth making several passes through here there's so much to see and enjoy. One of the things I thought was incredibly creative is the use of sea-can storage trailers to display more items, it's like individual shops, some are themed displaying like items. There's plenty of parking out back and I can't wait to return by the number of customers here during my visit I'm sure the inventory turns regularly...

The prices are average, but the variety and layout is really neat! They do have one gender neutral restroom, plus two dressing rooms divided by curtains. You can donate items of basically any kind, but they only accept them on the warehouse on Fridays. It's connected to the store and church by a huge dirt parking lot that's free to the public. The staff are very sweet and helpful. Most of them are volunteers that have been in the area for a while, so don't be afraid to ask lots of questions! Even though there are lots of clearance items, prepare for $8 clothing, $16 two-piece sets, and ~$15 shoes in case that's outside your thrift budget! I usually shy away from anything over $5, but I really love what I found!

This small business is a stand-alone sparkly nugget on busy U.S. 1 (Dixie Freeway). Colorful, hand painted sculptures and treasures greet you even before you set foot in the store. Once inside, there are so many treasures in every nook and cranny - with a particular focus on nautical themed (especially mermaids - hence the name - "The Vintage Mermaid") furnishings and gifts. The store also smells like a spa and a new age store had a baby - it's a nice smell! They seem to specialize in up-cycling wooden furniture, turning pieces into one-of-a-kind "must have" item. The store even has a special paint section and staff provide free advice on how to do certain techniques on furniture that customers may want to attempt at home.
