We were an out-of-state nurse and physical therapist traveling couple planning our Ohio wedding from South Carolina at the time (Our plan was to be in Ohio working on contract before the time of the wedding and then move onto the next state that needed us after we got married). Bob did not answer well to emails after we paid him and signed the contract. We wanted to go over the timeline and discuss pictures that we absolutely wanted the day of. We had one phone conversation five weeks before the wedding which pretty much just included him trying to convince us to do a first look against our wishes. His argument was that we would not have enough time to get the photos he needed during cocktail hour. I expressed our wishes to keep it traditional and he just kept going on about it and how I needed to keep my wedding party in line. A week later, one month prior to our wedding date we found out that due to the pandemic COVID-19 our wedding would have to be canceled. We were completely devastated. We had spent SO much of our time and money over the last year planning this event that every bride has been dreaming of her whole life. As I mentioned earlier, my fiancé and I do travel work across the United States. There would be no way to re-plan a wedding so we had to call it off. Rescheduling wasn't an option since we would not be in that area any longer. Bob was not open to refunding our large deposit or any portion of it. Bob did not perform any work for us. He did not create a wedding timeline and was not there for us when we reached out to him numerous times. He stated that his refund was non-refundable as listed in the contract, but a pandemic is out of our control and was NOT listed on the contract. After much discussion, Bob stated in an email that we would receive our deposit back and then quickly changed his mind in the next email. He told me that it was tremendous I was employed when so many are in trouble, not understanding that yes I might be working as a nurse (on the front lines of a pandemic no less), but I'm still also a bride that had her dreams of her wedding day shattered and he offered no flexibility. Even if I'm working, how does that make it right to keep our deposit when he performed no work? I would not recommend this business.

The reason why is their photo booth is different than anyone else's out there. Rather than a booth, they have a free standing backdrop where you can cram a ton of people in to one photo. Think of it as walking the red carpet shots. Also - the quality of the photos and the lighting is awesome. Everyone looked like rockstars. Their price is reasonable and they bring their own props, 2 people, pens, and special glue (if you want to glue the photo strips to a guest book, etc). The photographer will not allow you to be in the studio when your child is photographed. This will result in your receiving proofs of pictures you don't want. The photographer does NOT know how to photograph a competitive swimmer. Actually, I found all of the photography I saw on the walls of other athletes to be of substandard quality too. But you will NOT find one photo of a swimmer with his/her medals around their necks because the photographer doesn't know how to do that. The photographer will not tell you their prices in advance. You will not be given a price sheet. You will not be given any pricing information whatsoever. You better have computer access or a Facebook account because that is what they use for everything! As an added bonus, when you return to view your proofs it will cost you hundreds of dollars to take those proofs home just to look at them with your family. The starting senior package is over $400 and it does not include enough photos for a family. It's such a rip off. I only bought wallets and one 8x10 and it cost me $130. And I did not get the athletic photo we needed of my son with his medals on his chest, so we had to go somewhere else to get that photo taken. I wrote them a letter expressing my disappointment, but never heard from anyone. They don't care. They just smile at everything, all the time, (Remember the movie :The Stepford Wives? - that's what the employees are like!) they don't ask if you're happy with your photos, they just assume you are. When our premature babies were stuck in the NICU, they came to the hospital and did an extra session there. In addition to our scheduled session. The session was great. We gave our general idea and she ran with it, providing her eye to fill in the details. Ann Marie has a variety of props, costumes, and set dressings in the studio to flesh out the look. The final pictures make our babies look like models! They're holding hands in one of them! Her way with babies is remarkable. She kept them both calm and placid while she dressed and posed them. She had a few tricks to pull this off, including an automatic shusher. Knowing that our little ones came from the NICU, she had a NICU nurse on site to help. The whole time, we had a comfortable couch to sit on, watching the process and giving our input. Watching the session was fun for us! She even took one pic with our phones so we had a preview to share with the world. My one other criticism is that the studio is a little hard to find. It's in a large shopping village in which every store looks the same. It's above the ice cream place, which is free standing in the middle of a square. When I first saw the price for the session, I balked, but after a nice experience and great results, it was worth every penny.
