Right from the first meeting with Becky, we knew this was the right fit for the wedding reception. Our goal was to have all events for the weekend in Downtown Toledo and The Summit Event Center was perfect! The Hotel was a block away and all other events were close by within walking distance which made it easier for the guests. Becky is so informative and professional, always returning calls or emails within a day. Becky and her staff took so much stress out of the wedding reception planning. The free monthly tasting were so helpful. This gave us a chance to bring various people to the tastings to help choose the right food and see the venue. It also gave us an opportunity to get to know the staff. They exceeded our expectations! We wanted to customize our food and make it a fall theme. Chef Keith was so helpful and willing to figure out the right combinations of foods. The late night snack of chicken chunks and mac and cheese was a huge hit! Hannah, the Bar Manager, made a fall specialty drink with warm apple cider that was also a favorite with the guests. All of the waitstaff were attentive and polite making sure everything was as we had requested. The house DJ was an awesome choice! Having the use of the inventory of event decorations was a big money saver. We loved going thru the items to get ideas. The package pricing made it so much easier to plan the budget for the reception. Becky was so helpful in making changes to the package that fit our needs. Our families and friends had an excellent time from the delicious food and drinks to the fun dance music to the wonderful decorations, we highly recommend having an event at The Summit Event Center! About 45 minutes later we were finally called up to the buffet just to find out that pretty much all the food was gone anyway. And the food that was left was cold and not at all flavorful. The roses in the arrangement never opened and the ranunculus flowers had brown spots. Instead of just putting them in a vase with water they were all stuffed into a floral foam. When I went on the website there were no arrangements to view other than wedding flowers. I called and talked to the owner and she was supposed to call me back but I never received a phone call. So I do not recommend this florist.

My friends and I came here yesterday. We did the date night pkg, which includes a mini spin,…read moret-shirt, and a canvas. Very fun. The mini-spin is a piece of paper inside a box that spins and you get 3 colors to pour in and you can add glitter at the end. The t-shirt and canvas painting is inside a room where they leave you to it to splatter paint and have fun. They play music and have a drum set you can you pour paint on to splatter paint everywhere if you want. They give your group some tools to make different designs and 6 neon colors. We asked for black paint and they brought us out a cup of it. I highly recommend the black paint and asking to add glitter to the canvases after you get done. They have tacks in the pallets for you to hang your canvas up to pain on it and they work as long as you aren't touching the canvas. Anytime we tried to touch our canvas, they would fall off. The tacks aren't sturdy and give out a bit to the weight so the canvas slips off. The drum takes a TON of paint to splatter so unless you dump all of the paint you are given for the canvas and shirt, you really can't splatter paint with the drumsticks. If you are bringing a group of people, make sure you ride together. The parking lot is extremely small and tight! They do have a set of lockers inside to lock up belongings so you don't have to leave them out in your car, which is extremely helpful! Definitely worth checking out.

Did not have a great experience with this photographer at all. We booked him in October 2019 for…read moreour wedding in April 2020 and paid him a deposit via Zelle as he requested. (He later said he doesn't like to use Venmo or said that if I do use it, don't put a reason for payment?) We were an out-of-state nurse and physical therapist traveling couple planning our Ohio wedding from South Carolina at the time (Our plan was to be in Ohio working on contract before the time of the wedding and then move onto the next state that needed us after we got married). Bob did not answer well to emails after we paid him and signed the contract. We wanted to go over the timeline and discuss pictures that we absolutely wanted the day of. We had one phone conversation five weeks before the wedding which pretty much just included him trying to convince us to do a first look against our wishes. His argument was that we would not have enough time to get the photos he needed during cocktail hour. I expressed our wishes to keep it traditional and he just kept going on about it and how I needed to keep my wedding party in line. A week later, one month prior to our wedding date we found out that due to the pandemic COVID-19 our wedding would have to be canceled. We were completely devastated. We had spent SO much of our time and money over the last year planning this event that every bride has been dreaming of her whole life. As I mentioned earlier, my fiancé and I do travel work across the United States. There would be no way to re-plan a wedding so we had to call it off. Rescheduling wasn't an option since we would not be in that area any longer. Bob was not open to refunding our large deposit or any portion of it. Bob did not perform any work for us. He did not create a wedding timeline and was not there for us when we reached out to him numerous times. He stated that his refund was non-refundable as listed in the contract, but a pandemic is out of our control and was NOT listed on the contract. After much discussion, Bob stated in an email that we would receive our deposit back and then quickly changed his mind in the next email. He told me that it was tremendous I was employed when so many are in trouble, not understanding that yes I might be working as a nurse (on the front lines of a pandemic no less), but I'm still also a bride that had her dreams of her wedding day shattered and he offered no flexibility. Even if I'm working, how does that make it right to keep our deposit when he performed no work? I would not recommend this business.

The reason why is their photo booth is different than anyone else's out there. Rather than a booth, they have a free standing backdrop where you can cram a ton of people in to one photo. Think of it as walking the red carpet shots. Also - the quality of the photos and the lighting is awesome. Everyone looked like rockstars. Their price is reasonable and they bring their own props, 2 people, pens, and special glue (if you want to glue the photo strips to a guest book, etc). Also they gave me an open link to all our photos to share with friends.
