had to come in here for something unexpected and they really had amazing customer service. They help me organise a claim with Petsy and their care was just brilliant. They have to be one of the best vets in Australia. read more

Undoubtedly the best vet I've ever been too…read more Our 2 family Dobermans have received the best of care from the team here, as has my Devon Rex. From broken limbs to pancreatitus, cancers and skin problems, our pets always get special love and treatment. Every time I come in, the first thing the doctor does it take a moment to have a cuddle and say hello to my pets; they're always excited to see him. I was really surprised how calm and relaxed my Rex was when she first visited, as normally she's very shy and nervous of strangers, but she was perky and cuddly for the whole appointment! I also noticed (read: cuddle) ex-strays and rescue kittens that they foster/rescue which is absolutely fantastic! As for the care I couldn't ask for anything more. When my Rex came in very general symptoms, they were able to quickly diagnose her and keep in touch to update me with test results, which is a huge relief when your bub is sick. Of course she recovered quickly and is now back in action!

These guys are everything you could possibly want in a vet!…read more I'd never go anywhere else. As well as being a vet clinic they re-home (and if necessary) rehabilitate rescue cats, with a no kill policy. My cats usually see Adrienne who is a God send, she is amazing with cats (not always an easy quality to find!) and one of the loveliest people on the planet! But all the staff are here are great, really efficient and thorough. They are always familiar with the latest treatments so they really know their stuff! When my cat got very sick with a collapsed lung they let me pay his bill off in instalments and were more than happy for me to visit him several times a day. They also have a 24 hour sister vet that you can call anytime of night if you are worried about your pet and it's free of charge.

Sam's piority to care for sick injured animals and he even goes above n beyond and makes the effort to offer his helping hand to those vulnerable people who cannot afford it themselves he wants the best for these animals so they live a full happy healthy life and his heart is phenomenal. I have never met a vet who has the biggest heart and goes way above his limits to help. When you walk into southern cross vet it feels like a family not just a veterinary clinic btw I have seen Hairy legs since Sam gave him chance to live a full life is a happy healthy dog and thanks to Sam can live a longer full filled life with its much loved owner who loves his dog dearly. Queen Izzy, the cat that crossed the world to come live with us in Australia, had stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly. She spent a week in urgent care here and they couldn't have been nicer. I talked to one or two different vets every single day and they let us come in the evenings to hand feed her. I know they were as concerned as we were that she wasn't going to pull through, but somehow she did. It's four months later and she is back to her normal, talkative self. She is bossing the dog (Rufus) around and ruling the roost again and we couldn't be happier. Oh, and Rufus goes here too. Thankfully he has only been for regular checkups and getting his nails trimmed (because he goes feral if you touch his nails, so we have to get him sedated in order to do this).
