A gentleman named Ouri came to do the assessment. He answered all my questions satisfactorily concerning how the task was to be approached, so I kindly asked him to proceed. The work was very clean and done in less than an hour. Payment was made on the spot via Square, invoice by email. I paid for material and 1-hour labour at a reasonable cost. We got a quick and very reasonable quote from Surrge. Our condo board also required some information from/about the electrician in order to approve our renovation request, and we were able to get it promptly from Surrge as well. Once we got the approval, we were able to schedule a time for the electrician to come within a few days. On the day of installation, the electrician was available early and we were asked if he could start 2 hours prior to the scheduled time. We didn't mind one bit and it turned out to be a good thing. I guess we weren't clear about position of the electrical panel from the laundry room and how wires would need to be run in the ceiling to get there, but the electrician (Mike) pointed this out and said unfortunately it would have to be more than what we were quoted. Mike explained why, what would have to happen, how long it would take, and said it would be up to us if we wanted to proceed. He was very clear and friendly. No pressure what-so-ever. We proceeded and he ran to Home Depot to get some materials since he was expecting something different. About 45 minutes later he returned and started working. He tried his best to keep things neat and tidy as possible...and tried to keep the number of holes he would need to make in the ceiling to a minimum as well. He left the pucks to help with the drywall repair as well. Overall, the work was relatively quick, and we were very happy with it all. Afterwards, we were contacted with the final cost breakdown and paid online. Mike then contacted an inspector and scheduled time for him to come back and check on the work. He called to let me know immediately, and reminded me on the morning of the day the inspector came. The whole team is very professional and courteous. We will definitely be using them again for future projects, which we chatted with Mike about so that would could get some ideas about what's possible, etc. while he was here as well. They placed floor mats/sheets to prevent dirtying the floor. They suggested the best filter to purchase for our unit, taking into the consideration the size of the home and if kids or pets were present. They tested the unit after installation. And they did their best to clean up after the job was done. And later on, the owner came to inspect to ensure that everything was done properly. A1 business. They return your emails and phone calls in a very timely manner. They not only service our immediate town - but anywhere else in the surrounding GTA.

Buyer beware. When I…read moreordered the pool house, I was given a ship date of the first week of July. Manufacturing kept getting delayed. It was delivered today, September 19th. I won't be able to use it this year. Because of the delay, Summerwood's fault, shipping increased from $2000 to $4000. They "generously" offered to split the cost. With no allowance for cancellation and refund, I paid the $1000 on top of other increased charges from mistakes they made in their estimate, which I paid. I ordered a "pre-assembled" kit. Here's a picture of what I got. They nailed together a few of the 2' x 6's for some of the floor and sides. As my contractor said, this is no one's definition of pre-assembled. It will now cost me thousands more to build. And finally, when the truck leaves, the company takes no responsibility for missing or damaged parts. There are thousand of parts. If 100 were missing, it would be impossible to tell. You're supposed to count hundreds and hundreds of slats and shingles to ensure they didn't miss any? In the end, it would have been faster and cheaper to have had my contractor build this from scratch. If you do decide to order from Summerwood, add months and thousands of dollars to their estimate and don't pay thousands extra for "pre-assembled." Caveat emptor.
