Best of all and what it makes it 5 star worthy, it really does have all the age groups covered. Plus it's a place you can organise a whole day out becuase it has toilets! And GREAT toilets. So good I have done a separate review just on the toilet as it is so worthy!!!! There is a sign that says no hard ball play on the area though so cricket is out but with tennis balls it would be okay. They also have a basketball area and tennis court. On top of that there isa fantastic playground with heaps of different area's and activites as well as a Liberty Swing. It is a fully fenced swing made with wheelchair access. It's the most fantastic thing I have ever seen at a playground. It's so good to see children with disabilities being included with a special swing even they can use as well as disabled toilet facilities. They have BBQ's, plenty of seating in the shade of the trees and some more seating under a shelter in the centre of the park. Drinking fountains work! Rubbish bins on site as well. Only minor confusion about this park is that there is a doggy bag dispenser in it, I have seen heaps of people walking through here with dogs and there is a sign at the park itself that says dogs not allowed within 2 metres of playground. Yet when I look up the Council's website it says dogs are prohibited on this Reserve. Then why contradict yourselves with doggy bags and signs??????

It used to be great but now, since the upgrade, it's freaking amazing! The wooden playground is still there in all it's fantastical glory, but wait, there's MORE! Now there's plenty of BBQ's and sheltered table/chair areas. There's new play equipment for the younger children, all sorts of interactive musical equipment and a bigger car park. I was there a couple of months ago and the toilets are a little walk away but with the new work that's been happening there, they might be moved closer. Get in early if you want a BBQ. There's usually plenty to go around but if you are having a birthday party there, you'll want to stay the whole day. There's a mix of rubber flooring and bark chip depending on the equipment. While St Kilda rules the north, Jubilee must be the best looking and most fun playground in the southern part of Adelaide. This is one playground that all kids will find an instant liking to. I meant, look at that!! A wooden castle! It must be entralling to see something this big and be able to play in it. There's area catered for all ages. A smaller slide and and tunnel meant for toddlers, the main castle for the older kids. Heck, even I was running around with the kids up and down the castle earlier this afternoon. There are also many seats and benches for the parents, a couple of them with shelter. The castle playground itself is enclosed with wooden fences, so there's little fear that your young ones will 'escape'. lol. Great place to bring your kids around every once in a while. Noarlunga shopping centre is only nearby, you can always rock up to the playground early in the morning and then spend the afternoon in the shopping centre. Good way to spend a day. :)

With a few upgrades, mainly for younger children, it could get there. It's a massive space with netball court, tennis court, soccer field with goals PLUS playgrounds, bike paths and a skate park. The skate park is pretty goos and a little bigger than some others around. It has a better run off area and lots more space for people to watch. Plus a rail and half pipes and the usual skating stuff. Could be used by skaters, riders, boarders and bladers alike. There was a small playground but it would only keep my child occupied for about 5 minutes. There were also a few chairs around the place, some shade and a drinking fountain. There is a proper big old brick toilet block on one side of the park which was fine to use. Take a few balls and your portable BBQ and you could have a really nice day out here. Plenty of parking close by. But I would expect it would be really busy during sport seasons.

A half size basketball court (at least I think it's half size - it is bigger than the 3 on 3 area's at a lot of parks nowadays). The playground is a really good size with plenty of different activities to keep them amused for a while. Really nice, bright and newer looking playground too with some variety to the standard park equipment. There are a lot of beautiful big shady tree's here too. Pity it doesn't have toilets because that is probably all it would need. Lucky Macca's is just down the road so maybe if someone needs the toilet badly enough quivkly go to Macca's, use the toilet and grab the kids a cheap ice cream cone while you're there.

Lot's of play equipment to keep the kids entertained, I do have a problem with the slide set up though, to get to the top you have to climb up this weird green material that has been fashioned into steps, but you cant really see the steps, very tripsy indeed. I know this because I went down the slide numerous times and the climb up didn't get any easier. There is a kiosk available for drinks and ice-cream etc. you can bring your own picnic though and there are BBQ facilities available. one thing I did notice was a lack of rubbish bins, in fact I didn't see one, but there had to be one because there was no rubbish on the ground. The burnside pool is just across the green if you want to go for a swim, personally I don't like public pools because of how much chlorine they have to pack into them, ever had chlorine induced hazy eye syndrome? It's painful.

The bottom line is, this is GREAT and much more of an adventure park than the Burnside Adventure park. There's sheltered tables for the on-lookers plus some wildly different play equipment. It's the sort of place where children will run from one thing to another. I can't wait to explore this park more with my daughter. There are BBQs on the lawn section just off of the playground area and unfortunately there isn't a lot of shade over there apart from tree shade. If your child is in a wheel chair, there is a mechanical swing for them to use. Lots of fun shall be had at this playground.
