Beware!! Do not use Tania if you are a new rider or apart of a homeschool charter!! Tania showed 0 interest teaching my beginner (daughter) and was absolutely dreadful to work with. I was hoping for a Better experience since Tania was a vendor with our charter school, but it was an absolute worst experience ever!!! We bought 5 lessons but ended up only using 3 and getting a refund for the last 2 lessons since it was such an awful experience. I have since reported her to our charter for her negligence, and rude demeanor. She has such a bad, sour attitude and does not show any interest in teaching my daughter. In fact, when you arrive, she won't even say Hello! You are left standing there waiting for her to finish attending her other horses. At one point my daughter was cleaning the hoofs of one of Tania white horses and the horse stepped on my daughters foot. She couldn't get the horse foot off and Tania said, "that would teach you not to stand so close" Also, on my daughters 3rd lesson my daughter was having trouble remembering everything so my daughter said to Tania it was hard for her to remember and Tania Replied, "Suck it up, Life Sucks sometimes" The way Tania approaches you is very unpleasant, rude, bad attitude, and definitely isn't in the field to teach beginners. We have since found a different trainer that is much more compassionate and actually enjoys teaching my daughter. Tania is definitely not in the field to teach beginners. Warning to anyone who uses Tania or this company!! Definitely not a pleasant experience and would NOT recommend!! read more

We moved to the area this summer and started looking for a place for our 7 year old daughter to learn how to ride. We wanted a trainer who could teach her skills and safety and to have some fun together! Once we spent time with Tania, our daughter was hooked. In a few months Tania has taught her grooming and riding skills, beyond our expectations. Tania's equipment and horses are clearly loved and taken well care of, and she teaches her students to do the same. We've also seen our daughter's confidence grow in so many ways. My 5 yr old twins and 4 year old started riding lessons 2 months ago and it's been the most amazing experience. Tania goes above and beyond. I was thrilled to find a place that lets such young riders but they have completely exceeded my expectations. I thought they'd lead the kids around for a bit and let them do some grooming but first day they were off lead Learning how to communicate and control the horses. I discovered Equiis Elite by accident, one of several trainers who call Sycamore Trails home. My daughter is horse crazy, and lessons seemed like the best solution. She has indeed gone from novice to blue ribbon winner in just over a year, but she has accomplished so much more! My daughter has been training with Tania for a year and a half now, and her progress has been amazing. We've gone from beginner to competitions, winning 1st place often and holding second place in her division. Tania is an excellent trainer of both horse and rider. Not only does she teach horsemanship, she has you doing everything from day one so you know how to tack up and take care of a horse. I had been away from horses for about 30 years and Tania taught me everything until she eventually helped me get my first horse. She is extremely patient, but pushes you enough to work to your full potential. She has also trained my daughter to ride horses as well. First of, Tania's a sweet and honest person. Her style is gentle. She has great respect for horses and her students. My two daughters have learned so much just after one month with Tania. Tania allows them to be independent and learn from tacking to cleaning and everything else about taking care of horses. Her clock starts when you're actually on the horse. Tania knows this is an expensive sport. So she doesn't take advantage of your time and money. It has only been 3 months with Tania and one of my daughter already learning to jump. I took a 3 year break from riding and Tania has been super patient and extremely helpful in bringing me back to where I was previously and has been helping fix a few old, bad riding habits. Tania is the best horse trainer I have ever had. I have been with her for over a year and plan to stay for much longer. She has great and very safe horses so safety is not a question and she has a lot of patience for her students. She teaches everything from ground up and challenges the riders in a very skillful manner so that before you know it you are jumping and getting a blast while also getting an amazing workout and mental break.
